as someone who is currently single and flips back and forth between contentedness and longing, i truly appreciate Pastor Manouchka Charles for writing this book.
it made me reflect on what a relationship and marriage really entails and how much of a blessing a season of singleness is, while also not taking away from how discouraging someone can feel during such a season. what i also love is that she constantly reminds her readers that it is okay to also NOT desire marriage and drives the point that we are completely fulfilled through God and Christ Jesus.
she provided such valuable perspective, Scripture, experiences, prayers and declarations, that I feel like after reading this, something is going to shift in how i take on this season of my life. i will definitely be revisiting and rereading through it!!
