One Daring Night by Mari Carr is a book that left me with a big smile on my face. I loved the way this couple met, I loved the chance they took at getting to know one another, I loved that they were brutally honest from the start and didn't judge, and I flat out LOVED that they didn't "date" despite spending tons of time together in and out of bed. Refreshingly honest, sinfully sexy, and flat out fun I could not put down this book down.
Two people meet on a day their lives are changed forever; one because he realizes he wants more than the endless string of women he's indulged in and one because she finds her live in boyfriend cheating on her on the night of her 30th birthday. Eric Bryant knows the minute he sees Joni Allen that she's different but in a good way and he know that she has the potential to be the one he's looking for.
A night of truth talking, Tequila, and a heavy dose of lust these two figure out that they enjoy each other's company, have a lot in common, and an undeniable attraction, but Eric is determined to dedicate himself to one woman and Joni is determined to enjoy her single status yet somehow they make it work.

One Daring Night is a fun contemporary romance by Mari Carr. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. I read this book under the title One Wild Night. Ms. Carr has provided readers with a well-written book populated with fantastic characters. Joni learned that her boyfriend that was supposed to be working late was instead at a restaurant with another woman. Eric had just finished making a vow to marry the next woman he slept with to his friend when a woman arrived at the next table to give her cheating boyfriend the boot. Joni and Eric's story is loaded with drama, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from Mari Carr soon. One Daring Night is book 4.5 of the Wilder Irish Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Rebound or Relationship?
Just when I thought the Wilder Series couldn’t get any better, Mari throws in a short story to turn up the steamy heat a bit more! Erik and Joni are amazing together, I’m so glad he talked her into going to Pat’s that first night! This story was sweet and sexy and steamy as hell, and I loved every minute of it! Thanks Mari!

Absolutely loved Eric and Joni's story, they always say everything happens for a reason and this is absolutely true when it comes to Eric making a vow that he is determined to keep no matter the doubts Joni has.

Sweet novella with HEA. Can be read as stand-alone. Eric is a friend of Lucas from January Girl. I enjoyed this is a short sweet story.

Another great book in the new Dare To Love series Kindle Worlds releases! Joni and Eric's complete honesty was awesome. So much having two characters so completely lay it all out on the table when they first meet. It was hilarious listening to them tell each other all kinds of crazy things. Eric's decision to marry the next woman he sleeps with didn't scare him one bit once he sees Joni storm in and eviscerate her now ex-boyfriend. Joni knows she made a good choice dumping her ex after she catches him cheating on her, but it doesn't stop her from feeling like she needs to shake things up. Once the tequila flows the night gets so much better. I just loved this book. There really aren't many other words I can give you. It satisfied my desire to laugh, made me smile, and of course got me hot under the collar. The epilogue satisfied my need for a happily ever after. One Daring Night was a wonderfully satisfying read. I let out a big sigh when I finished and just sat and smiled for a while. It was great.

And that pretty much sums up my feelings. The couple's complete candor with one another is refreshing and makes for hilarious banter. The hero's instant and utter captivation with the heroine is sweet and perfectly believable. And, because it's a Mari Carr book, the sex scenes are deliciously panty-melting.
I highly recommend this story. It's a standalone but also a great addition to Carly Phillips' Dare to Love Kindle Worlds for those familiar with her DARE series. And if this is your first Mari Carr book, lucky you. She has an extensive backlist you'll enjoy plowing through.

Joni is such a strong woman and when she finds out that instead of spending her thirtieth birthday with her, her live-in boyfriend who claimed to be working late got an earful in the middle of a high class restaurant with his girlfriend. Eric was there with his friend Alex Dare because he was tired of the meaningless nights with women he couldn't remember the name of the next morning. After a bet with Alex, Eric follows Joni after witnessing her scene. You will definitely have to read this really cute and sexy read. I found it very enjoyable.

Fun cute read!
I am really enjoying this set of novellas for the Dare to Love series. These two were so cute right from the beginning. Normally such a quick love after break up doesn't feel right but this was written perfectly. The instant chemistry and emotional connection made sense and just worked. I love these two.

I absolutely loved Eric and Joni! So much playful fun and super great chemistry between the two. Sexy, delicious quick read. Another fine addition to the Dare To Love Kindle World series.
