Amy Rafferty's book 5 Treasures at Heart Hotel has an explosive start with A LOT going on, with a DEEP dive into the background and giving us insight to how we got where we are now! 

Wow, the places this book is going to take you while keeping you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire story.

Can you get whiplash from reading a book? 

I love all the light hearted fun, mixed with romantic outings and all those non-terrifying teenagers.  

I highly recommend this story. I am excited for the next and final installment of this story.

Is a sweet, clean small town, second chance, fresh starts, found family, later-in-life romance.

Some of the lines I really like --- Better to look a storm in the eye and take the bruising than to get caught sleeping when the roof caves in. If her life, her home, or the people she cared about were in the path of danger, she wanted the truth—no matter how raw or painful it was. --- "Marriage and love mean facing the absolute worst of the storm together, George. It means standing side-by-side when the walls are crumbling down around your ears." ---

What's Baxter up to? Will they save the hotel? What did they find when rebuilding the pool? What does it mean for the hotel, as well as for the Heart family? What's Dr. Debbi Wineberg up to? What's the Carolina Group up to? How will Linda react to the news of who Darius is? Who is Linda secretly meeting with? What's Hyrum Wineberg up to? Will Thompson Wineberg succeed in winning Governor of Florida? Some questions will be answered and others will be answered in book 6.

I loved Linda and Darius, Lila and Tom, Maggie and Michael, Isabel and Owen and Penny and Martin's story and I'm sure you will too. I've loved everyone of her books that I've read and I can't wait to read Book 6 "Finding Home At Hearts Hotel."

Another great book in this series, recommend it to anyone who is curious about the Heart family and their friends. It starts out with all the family being summoned to a meeting. Added to those present are a few who have not been involved with the latest events but were involved in the beginning. All are informed of the complete background and the details of what has happened in the past with their arch enemies and why. There are many surprises. The main H then puts forth his plans that he and his brother will execute to bring down the family who is their arch enemy and greatest threat. After this meeting the various Hs and hs developed their relationships further. The cute part is how the five teenagers get involved in playing matchmakers for some of the couples. It ends with the main H leaving to take care of the final details to accomplish their goal in bringing down their arch enemies. Hopefully you will read this book to be prepared for the ending in the final book. Enjoy.

I was given the opportunity by the author to read an arc of this fifth installment in the Sweet Blossom Bay series in return for an honest review.

The story picks up where the fourth left off. Darius and Linda had us fooled for a while and we learn that there is a whole other story behind the already convoluted one between Owen and Debbi.

There are some hilarious scenes in this book which had me laughing out loud. Five conniving teenagers acting as matchmakers and the icing on the cake is the Summer Lake Games Festival where Michael and Maggie are emerging as “fierce, unapologetic competitors”, intending to win at all costs.

The last page leaves us biting our nails again in anticipation of the apotheosis in the final book.

Yet again, 5 stars are well-deserved!

Wow! What a fantastic addition to this series that keeps you turning pages to see what will happen next. With some secrets revealed that could help take down the crooked Wineberg family. And to add to that, with some humor from our five teenagers manipulating the characters into romantic relationships. This 5th book is another unputdownable book in the series as they all are! But now there is one last book in this series and I can't wait to see how it will all wrap up. Amy Rafferty is an amazing author, who writes these romance with suspense and mystery series and each one is Fantastic. I will be looking for her next romance/mystery/suspense series! I highly recommend all of her series! I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

This edition is the best in this series. It has everyone, everything and more involved as details unfold. The scheming involved is so deep. Couples are forming,,secrets are being told and relationships are extending from the past into the present. The plot has more reach than an exorcet missile and more legs than a centipede. Revenge is a dish best served cold, but is the taste going to be as good. It has a good deal of humour as the 5 teenagers get together to matchmake; they are worthy adversaries. Secret and lies are being exposed and dirty dealings need cleaning .. but who holds the power and the clout to do it.

This was a wonderful book in the Hearts Hotel series. Darius tells the people affiliated with the Hearts Hotel as well as their friends,that he has found a way, with the help of his cousin, Baxter, to bring down the Winebergs. There is romance in the air for Linda and Darius, Michael and Maggie, Isabel and Owen, Penny and Martin and Anna and George. I can't recommend this book enough to other romance/mystery readers. I received an ARC of this book, and the opinion expressed is strictly my own.

Title: A definite treasure

This book is absolutely a perfect example of how the small town of Sweet Blossoms Bay’s community can thrive. As a family and a big corporate entity work together to save a small hotel from undermining deceitful people the characters represent enduring friendships, sweet romance and the inquisitive nature & antics of 5 precocious pre-teens. Their match making brings an interesting plot to the story as they plan their strategy. The people who visit this quaint town seem to find a place to belong. Definitely a series worth reading.

Book 5 is full of romance and mystery which are both finally being revealed. The adults are pairing up… Linda and Darius, Michael and Maggie, Isabel and Owen, Anna and George. Five plotting teenagers are helping Penny and Martin in their relationship. Darius calls a meeting to reveal what he’s been up to in regard to Hearts Hotel, and with the help of his cousin, Baxter, to bring down the Winebergs. Looking forward to Book 6

This series has been a roller coaster. Last book was like the exciting, fast paced drop into loops and rolls. This one was the calm level part that fools you into relaxing right before the big finish. I have loved every moment, every reveal, every twist. My only complaint is that it is almost over.
Amy is on top of my “if she writes it I’m in” list.

I love all things Amy Rafferty, and this does not disappoint; this is book five in The Sweet Blossom Bay series. Things are finally coming together for the Heart family. Love seems to be in the air, for some of our characters; are their going to be wedding bells? What is Baxter, Darius's cousin up too? Is he still hanging out with Debbi Wineburg, Owen's ex wife? Love the plot, great setting, and strong intense interesting characters. I can't wait for the final book in the series!!!

Heart's Hotel, a place where everyone can find a home. Our families continue to experience new and mind-bending experiences to try to ruin their lives. However, great minds rise to the challenge and hopefully conquer the enemy. Will they win out as we get closer to disaster and acquire a peaceful life or go down in flames. The intricacy of the happenings is dynamic.

The plot unfolds as to how to catch the Wineberg’s and end all their underhanded dealings. Who’s involved? Who was left out and why?

Who are the teens trying to set up? Did it work?

This book is very intense in part and totally fun to read. The twists in the Wineberg plot was something I didn’t see coming. In the next book, all will be revealed.

Never a dull moment at Hearts Hotel! There seems to be a new twist around every turn keeping this great story interesting and exciting. It definitely keeps your attention. This is such a fun series with wonderful characters, heartfelt moments and sweet romantic tensions along with some suspense. I have enjoyed every minute of these books and am so looking forward to the wrap up in book 6!

That cliffhanger

Love is in the air and spreading. Five teenagers might also be helping it along which is sweet to see as it shows they still care about this family.

The conclusion is coming soon and it’s going to be epic I bet. The bad guys don’t know what’s coming I hope. Happily ever after for all is on the menu.

This series is so good and so much happens in every book. I can’t read fast enough and every book leaves you wanting more. This is such an amazing cast of characters. More relationships grow as everyone comes together to save hearts hotel from another corporate takeover by revengeful people. There are secret back door meetings as well as love blossoming between characters. These are great characters with a good mysterious storyline.

I’m reading the series in order. Unfortunately, this story became so tech-talk, I had no idea what much of the dialogue meant. I skipped a lot/skimmed. The story was pulled together as to who was the good guys or the bad guys, but I wasn’t happy with several of the characters.

You discover the grand plan and the book ended on a cliff hanger. There were too many technical explanations that didn’t add to the story. I also struggled with the language the kids used. They did not speak or act in a way of any pre teen or teen I’ve ever met.

This particular book adds so much depth to the characters' individual and relationship stories. The adults are extremely complicated, in a good way, and the teenagers are incredibly charming.
