Aromatherapy A–Z is a fresh and easy step-by-step reference guide. The authors have compiled a vast amount of information on essential oils, humankind’s first medicine. Well-preserved oils were found in alabaster jars in King Tut’s tomb, and in biblical times, frankincense, myrrh, rosemary, hyssop, and spikenard were used for anointing and healing the sick. Essential oil recipes and blends were found in the Bible and ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. Essential oils, the authors tell us, are very powerful healing agents that detoxify the blood in the human body. They are antibacterial, anticancerous, and antiviral. Essential oils stimulate the immune system and have been effective in the treatment of such diseases as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis. Use this well-organized book to find the combinations of oils that are most beneficial for treating a variety of illnesses and physical problems naturally. Then, enjoy the sense of emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being that the oils will bring.
Found the book at a yard sale. Loved it. Used it. Kept it. Loaned it, but not returned. But I bought a digital version so am happier because it's portable now.
This is a brief guide for using essential oils. I also own the Essential Oil Reference Guide by the Higley's and I highly recommend that version. It is Young Living specific, and it is loaded with great info.
