This book contains repeated and sizeable rewritten sections that are frustrating and irritating; a simple proofread could spot them. Beyond those obvious editorial mistakes, the story itself seems a bit like that the whole way through now, that it's repeating things we already knew, like a poor re-draft of chapters to follow the first book. It's like this author has no organisation or is using AI and throwing things together before hitting publish just to make some money, rather than thoughtfully constructing the work. The story is full of promise but poorly executed.
