The final book in this series, sadly. But it is a really great read!! I highly recommend this!! The turmoil isn't over for our girl, not yet. She needs to get honest with her feelings and until that happens she is “stuck”. Natalie is such a strong female character, I adore her (may even envy her w/Elijah *sighs) She has endured some really hard stuff with the kidnapping and everything else that had happened during. What will keep her from Elijah? We know what has happened between them and this book is just as emotional as the previous books. I just wish Natalie would have more faith in Elijah, but I say that after I am all done reading the series, so hindsight is what 20/20 right??
If you have read the previous books, you WILL be reading this one! If you have not read any of this series and are checking the reviews first..I gotta say…...GO GET THIS SERIES NOW!!!! WARNING PANTY MELTING SCENES!!!! I mean holy hell hot, keep your man around cause when you’re done (lol) you may need to ya know…...scratch an itch. Elijah is one fine dominate man!!
George, I wish we had a book just on him! I really to adore this character, he seems like he may have a lot going on . All in all this series will make your heart flutter, you won’t want to put it down and you may need to either take a cold shower or have your partner next to you. I know you will love this one as much as the first!!
Yes! This is the ending that this story needed. Corned by SE Reign answered all the questions and tied the 101 Nights story line into a nice neat, royal package. A bit more closure for George and Alisha would have been cool, but not necessary. Just loved the whole thing. (Didn't need the erotica to make the story good)
This review applies to all parts of the mini-series. I can't believe this series has only so few ratings on Goodreads. It is scorchingly hot, features complex characters and a truly captivating and nail-biting plot. The hero is by all means a true ass-hole - which I usually detest in a romance novel. But simultaneously, he's also sweet, caring, sexy as sin and incredibly tormented by his past when he got systematically raped by his mad father, the king of an Arabian country.
What made this story stand out for me was that our heroine - Natalie - is every bit as stubborn and strong and hence able to stand up against EJ's antics. By the way, I usually try to avoid miss goody two shoes heroines because I can't stand their want to help everyone and their grandmothers, but I have to say that Natalie didn't push my boundaries too much and - most important - is no doormat and doesn't wear rose-coloured glasses I love my romance novels kinky - and kinky SE Reign's books are - but still on the PC side of BDSM. Unfortunately, the most disappointed I was with the final instalment. Natalie is confronted with the decision of becoming queen and with forever moving to EJ's country. Now, I truly would have to be very deeply in love to ever consider such a step because I would rather have my teeth pulled than constantly being hunted by the media. Which is also a reason why I never ever read celebrities, actor/actress and rock stars novels *shudder*. The ending was - for my tastes - not too hurried but left me a bit unsatisfied as I would have wished, after all the suspense, to read some more sappy details about EJ's and Natalie's happy ending. I would have wished for a few chapters where Natalie has truly arrived in her new country and feels comfortable in her role as queen. I go with an A for part 1 to 6 and a B- for the last instalment.

I'm finally at a point where I truly realized that Elijah grew on me. After Natalie's rescue, he needed to step up and be the man she knew he could be if he wanted to salvage what was left of their relationship...but how? Knowing she never would have been in that position if not for her relationship with him, he thinks a clean break may be the best thing for her now. Traumatized almost to the point where death was certain, Natalie isn't sure she can forgive or forget Elijah's part in everything. How can two people get past the fear, hurt, guilt and anger they feel towards the other? Yet how could they not try?
It was a little bit of a struggle for me to decide what I wanted for these two because I understood what each was feeling, and yet also thought they needed to talk things through but weren't. Stubborn! I still think they have a bit to work through, but at the end did start to come together and compromise where needed.
Still a great series and one I would have loved to have seen as a novel. It won't be for everyone, but if you like erotica then definitely worth reading.
The entire story in this serial of books was pretty amazing. There was mystery, lies, secrets, instant attraction and family closeness. The over the top wealthy versus the poor. The poor girl from the Bronx shows the prince who's been broken for many years that his emotions have hardened, she shows him what compassion and respect mean. This last book was very short and brought closure but also leaves some questions unanswered, I know most romance books try to out do each other in the sex scenes and this series would have been better if Elijah's behavior with women and being dominant were toned down a bit. I just don't see any inexperienced woman would have explored all the sexual positions Elijah offered. I also think that no woman is going to so casually consent to anal sex with a man as HUGE-per the author, that Elijah was in the story. Nor would there be an all night, every sex toy and every position known, all night long when your pregnant without complications to the baby.
Cornered (101 Nights Book 7) by S.E. Reign 4 1/2 stars
This final book in the series tied up the loose ends that I'd wondered about from previous books. I did think some of the pacing was a little quick, but mainly because there were time "jumps" that didn't really need elaborate details as the gaps were filled by (can't think of better wording) overviews of things that took place. I liked that the most important parts of how Natalie and Elijah figured out what to do to reconnect were the focus. As always, their chemistry together was smoking hot!
I didn't mind at all that George and Alisha weren't featured more in this final book, as the main story was not about them.
I liked how Natalie and Elijah got to their HEA, I loved how the story ended, and the details of their wedding, it had me laughing and smiling. Good ending to the series without being overdone and felt true to where their story had evolved.
While this wraps up the series and ties loose ends, for me this didnt really feel like an "ending" to the series. It felt like the author was tired of writing the serial and wrapped it up so she could move on to other projects. There wasn't much to this story- and I feel like there wasn't much of a bridge between serial 6 where Natalie and Layla are saved until this oen where they are back in New York (with George- yet Alisha is with Elijah back in Nijala- how does THAT make sense?
Also- when Natalie and EJ are back in New York that first day- where the heck is Layla? It's her house- did she magically disappear for three days? Overall disappointed with the end of what was a really good series!
I love this book!!! I'm glad how the story ended. Lets just say that it was just as crazy as it started. I was a bit upset when it was only 7 books but after reading this last book. 7 is the lucky number and it is everything that is needed to sum the story up. I like how Elijah and Natalie had to make a lot of decisions to the events that has occur in their lives. What will be their final choice: to stay together or the leave each other alone for good?
The only thing that would have made the choices so much better is: what is the name of the baby that Natalie was carrying?? That would be the best thing to know about to give the story a closure.
I have been a huge fan of this series, but this book just feLl short. I feel like so much was left unsaid. What is happening with Alisha and George? The whole book felt rushed, almost like she (SE Reign) wanted to just been done with it. To make matters worse, there were so many typos and grammatical errors. I haven't noticed poor editing on the other 6 installments, but this book was loaded with them. Like I said, it's like she just wanted to be done with this series and it really wasn't as good as the other 6 serials.
I give Cornered 5 stars. Cornered ended this series perfect. I loved it and I loved the ending. I love when books end with a happy ever after it makes me fall more in love with the story. EJ and Natalie had a lot to over come in this book and they though the could do it with out each other but they were wrong. Together they can overcome anything and they finally realised that in the end. They both make the other a better person. I love the series. Everything was perfect and I am glad how it ended
I loved this series and this was a great last book. It was great to get back to Natalie and EJ's story. I was sad to see this series end, but all good things must come to an end. In this final installment Natalie must decide if she can get past everything and be with the man she loves or if she will move on with her life without him. I would have liked to see a little more about George and Alisha but other than that Great ending to a wonderful story.
I am glad Elijah and Natalie decided to get married and Natalie decided to become queen. I can't wait until the next book comes out. Putting all 7 of these books together, these are the book I have gone through the fastest. which means they captured my interest and held it. The only sad thing now is that I have to wait until the next book comes out to find out what happens next.
Loved this series, but I do not like the way it ended. I expected so much more especially since this was the last book. I feel like the author got tired of writing this story which sucks for me.
