The Cookout
Juneteenth was supposed to bring the family back together.
Instead, the reunion turns into a full-blown disaster nobody can explain.

I’m…confused. Not in a good way but in a what is happening way. I couldn’t even tell you what happened or what was going on other than someone lurking.

What did I read
I am still.wilding over this read ...everyone is at the family bbq next thing you know folks are getting sick left and right was it the food or Shayla, was the food poisoned????
This book left me in a state of I don't know what happened but I enjoyed the story . four stars

This is a decent three-star read. Bee offers a light and easy story that's perfect for a quick escape. While it has its charming moments and some enjoyable characters, the plot feels a bit straightforward at times. It's a pleasant enough book if you're looking for something low-key and undemanding.

I gave the cookout 3⭐️,ever time I tried to read this book I was interrupted with work and people and this book didn't grab my intention, I still don't know how the people got sick at the cookout and who made the food. It was just a OK story for me

Not sure what type short story I read was it paranormal, mystery, comedy or what. It just didn’t flesh out enough to know what was going on. Loved the cover though.
