This is interesting to writers as Anne sets a crime in a publishing house - the story covers a couple of years because that is how long it took a book to be published in her day. The tale is quite readable with lots of detail.
The author was a Dublin lady who wrote a few fiction books and introduced some suspense in a few. She also wrote puzzle books and an account of gifted people.
