This book was fabulous! I learned so much from it. I also learned some exciting new patterns. I cannot wait to try making some afgans for my bed, as well as afgans for the beds of my family. The different patterns were really beautiful and the color schemes were also quite lovely.
This book was easy to follow and gave concise explanations of stitches and graphs and explained how to follow patterns for the very beginner. I learned a lot. I found myself returning to the book in my early crochet days. Includes patterns for blankets and instructions for developing your own patterns.
Finally something I can read easily and understand! I'm looking forward to trying something besides Everything being done in plain sc or dc ! Yea for new lacy designs ! Thank you 😊
Really liked the to the point descriptions. Illustrations and images helped in understanding the patterns. Would have been more better if there were more examples of reading graphs and patterns. Otherwise a good start for anyone.
This little book explained reading crochet patterns in a clear and concise way. I avoided crochet patterns because following a pattern Was so hard to find and written in obscure language. I will avoid them no more!
Plenty of info - concisely and easily passed on. Title gives exactly what this book contains and then gives more (some basic examples shown in pattern form, chart form, and graphic form).
