I wanted to love this book but its just confusing.

I don't know if it's AI or maybe english a second language and its been translated from another language but this is 2nd series by this author i've tried to get through and been highly disappointed

Look, this book seriously works for my id, but I’m not going to pretend that there wasn’t a SERIOUS substitution of banter for coherence. Just. Maybe a LITTLE less making the reader backwards engineer the plot relevant world building in the next book? My head would REALLY be grateful.
