Though filled with good information, this book was a disappointment. Reading it felt like working through a very detailed article produced by one of the major large language models. The sentence structure and style made it really hard to ignore. These may well be the author’s original thoughts, but when you cannot tell which ideas are his and which belong to a machine, the content comes into question, good though it may be.
I was suspicious of my read on the writing style before I checked the publication date, and the date left me more confident than not. If I am wrong, the author has my apologies. If I am right, I would say: lean less on large language models next time. We want to hear from you, not the machine. Based on the glimmers of outstanding information, I’m confident you have great things to say!
