This was such a sweet novella! This 2nd chance at love felt like fate to me 🥰 I enjoyed Denver and Sade's meet cute. Both have troubled pasts and have pushed love to the back burner. But after multiple chance encounters, can true love really be avoided?

Beautiful read about finding love unexpectedly, but exactly at the right time. Sade was in her rebuilding stage after being embarrassed and humiliated at work. Getting into a new relationship was the furthest thing from her mind, but as fate would have it, her time is now.

Denver enjoyed his photography, staying out of the way, and not taking anything too seriously. However, when he encounters Sade, something feels different this time. When he continues to bump into her repeatedly, around town, he knows this has to be more than a coincidence.

Two people who are heavily guarded, find common ground with each other. Conversations are easy, mean mugs become smiles, and communication with the other becomes the highlight of their days.

Finding My Way was such a soft, healing romance. I loved watching Sade slowly come back to herself after heartbreak and disappointment. Her journey felt relatable because she was not magically healed overnight. She was cautious, guarded, and trying to figure out how to trust herself again, which made her connection with Denver feel even more meaningful.

Denver was patient, intentional, and quietly consistent in a way that made the romance feel sweet and comforting. I really enjoyed how their relationship built through small moments, like check-ins, conversations, dates, and those little gestures that showed he was serious about making room for her in his life.

This was a low-angst, tender love story about starting over, choosing peace, and allowing yourself to be loved properly after being hurt. I would have loved a little more external conflict or deeper tension in some places, but overall, this was a warm and satisfying read with a beautiful message about healing and finding your way back home to yourself.

Thank you to Kiriah Kache for the advance copy!

This was a sweet, low-angst romance and the perfect palate cleanser. No over-the-top drama, just two people figuring things out while slowly letting themselves be cared for.

The story explores learning to trust yourself again and letting go of the pressure of what life is “supposed” to look like. The romance has a soft, “meant to be” feeling, with a series of chance encounters that keep pulling Sade and Denver back into each other’s orbit. I appreciated that their connection was approached with intention rather than ego, which made it feel more genuine.

I also really loved the friendship dynamics woven throughout the story. They added humor, honesty, and a grounded sense of support that balanced the romance nicely.

While both characters are guarded and hesitant, some of the internal thoughts and conversations started to feel a bit repetitive at times, and I found myself wanting a deeper dive into Denver’s backstory. Overall, a soft, easy romance with sweetness, chemistry, and emotional growth at its core.

Gifted ARC from author

Sade and Denver are a breath of fresh air. In a world where literally anything can happen, Sade experiences heartbreak in a manner no one should have to experience. A double life? Cruel work. Sade loves openly and fully to a default and did not imagine doing that again until him.

Denver, doesn’t say or do too much, doesn’t take anything too serious because it becomes too much. It’s not what he’s ever looking for. World stops on its axel when he sees her. He can see the walls she’s built to protect herself. As fate has it, three meets later, this can’t be a coincidence.

Love can be simple in the best way possible. Love can be as simple as understanding, patience, and in those small moments. Kiriah, you have done it again.

They say 3 times a charm 🥰😍

When Sade finds herself at the wrong location for her first day of work, Denver spots her looking lost in the sauce and points her to the right direction. What she didn’t know was that she’ll see him 2 more times after that 🤭 This was such a beautiful story about getting a second chance at life. I love how both characters were hesitant for very different reasons at first but eventually got what they truly deserved at the end.

If you are looking for a Romance Novella that’s gonna have you feeling all the feels in a short amount of time, then you should definitely pick this one up.

And look at this cover!!! 😍 So freakin’ pretty 🌻

Do you believe in second chance love?

If your answer is yes, then this is the perfect book for you.

I enjoyed this book soo much. I had to pace myself with reading this because I didn’t want it to be over. Sade is on a journey of starting over after heartbreak and Denver is spending his days avoiding getting into anything serious. Their connection felt real and relatable. I loved how this story was the perfect balance of the characters personal growth along with their evolving relationship.

If you’re someone who believes in second chance romance and love finding you unexpectedly, make this your next read!

Thank you to the author for allowing me to read this early 🤎

Thank you to Kiriah Kache for the advance copy of Finding My Way.

It really gave that feeling of when you meet someone and just KNOW that’s your person even with obstacles trying to get in the way. Calm comforting and full of love that feels natural instead of forced.

Sade trying to rebuild herself after heartbreak while Denver is over here avoiding anything too serious and no matter how much Sade tried to run or keep her distance that man was not letting her go. Denver yearning for Sade the way he did Yeah that’s a good man Savannah 🤭

Thank you to the author for the ARC review. This novella was a great palate cleanser filled with gems of letting love find you! Sade is the ideal of if it ain't broke don't fix it. Until things fell apart and she was forced out of her comfort zone. Coincidentally she runs across Denver three times in one day and is still questioning their connection. I enjoyed this novella but wanted to know more about Denver and his backstory on relationships and love. Their friends Malik and Jessie were good sounding boards for them as well.

3rd times a charm

This softer side was just what I needed. Sade was rediscovering and trying to pick herself back up after heartbreak, and Denver wasn’t looking for anything serious, so naturally feelings got involved.

I liked how calm and genuine their connection felt. No extra drama, just two people slowly figuring things out and letting their guards down. Together they both healed and found what neither was looking for. Overall this was a sweet, comforting read with good emotions and several laughs. 🌻

ARC Review

This story felt like a warm hug after heartbreak. From the very first chapter, Sade and Denver’s connection pulled me in completely. The emotional depth in this story was beautiful without ever feeling forced. It was soft, vulnerable, healing, and incredibly real.

Sade’s journey of rebuilding herself after pain was something I know so many readers will connect with. I loved that her growth stayed at the center of the story while romance slowly bloomed in the background. But that damn Denver…… Whew! His emotional walls, the casual attitude, the way he slowly let someone in… chef’s kiss. Their chemistry wasn’t loud or overly dramatic- it was natural, tender, and the kind of love that sneaks up on you.

What I appreciated most was how this book handled healing. It reminds you that love after heartbreak doesn’t have to be chaotic to be meaningful. Sometimes the softest connections hit the hardest. The conversations, the tension, the emotional vulnerability, everything felt intentional and authentic.

This was such a sweet palette cleanser.
Sade and Denver 🤎
When two hearts collide with each other at the least expected time. Neither looking for love but ending up in the right place at the right time over and over.

Two individuals allowing love to win in the mist of fears from their past.

“Finding My Way” was the perfect palette reset - a gentle love, if you will. What I loved most about Sade & Denver is that it wasn’t a typical insta love type story. The realism was there. She was hesitant, but he was patient. And in the end, you could tell it was healing for both of them!!

Side note: I also loved the “3 times” reminder (it definitely reminded me of what my granny used to say!)
