Wow, just wow. It took longer for the seventh installment to be released, but the wait was so worth it.
Maximus is simply everything: cold and composed as a leader, yet so incredibly gentle and empathetic as a friend and husband. Some passages were so wonderful that the reader wants to reread them again and again.
This book is a masterpiece, impressing with suspense, banter, emotion, angst, and twists and turns. You're right there as friendship blossoms into love. The chemistry between Maximus and Olivia is off the charts. It's so much fun to read how the many subtle manipulations unfold and come to light.
It's also exciting that a new organization, this time based in the USA, is introduced as the antagonist. So there's plenty of potential for further books, which readers hopefully won't have to wait too long for.
Of course, some familiar faces are also back, most notably Jordan.
The heart of this whole series is how possessive wild men from all over the world get together, become friends, find and rescue their wives, and in the process save the world a little bit.
Highly recommended.

Yes, Maximus is a killer, somebody who walks on the dead bodies he leaves behind. But they were all evil men. He met Olivia when in his teens and found in her a friend with whom he could be his real self, without the mask he wore at all times. He decided then and there she would be his wife, even if his behaviour in the next ten years showed something completely different. She had a crush on him from the same moment on, but seeing him with so many beautiful women, doubted she would ever mean more to him than ‘just a friend’. When he marries her, it puts a target on her back and she became a tool for the mob organization to manipulate him. But he won’t let it. Asking his Vendetta friends to assist he starts a war.
A thrilling story with charismatic MCs, wonderful and hot scenes, deep emotions, a lot of strategic actions and blood. Loved it!

WOW! Exciting, Deadly and Entertaining
Maximus was his own person with his own rules, and no-one was above his punishment if they got on the wrong side of him!
He’s dark, a killer but with Olivia he can be a better man, his tenderness and caring with her is unusual as he is deadly, possessive and dangerous.
I absolutely loved this storyline, full of passion, friends to lovers, twists and some shocking moments.
His obsession with her started years ago but she had not yet recognized that she had always been his!

An action packed view on the inside workings of the world of Maximus Rossi. For Maximus, it seems one way or another his fight to protect abused women is never ending. The characters pop off the page, they are real. The suspence is nail biting excitement, this is not your normal organised families. In this book the forever batchelor Maximus gets married when Olivia proposed to him. Her brother has a grudge against Maximus now adding to the suspense. I have to say I swooned when the non emotional Rossi boss opens up to Olivia. C.R. Robertson has a skill in making honor, respect, romance and murder all fit smoothly together. I will say Olivia is an asset to Maximus and the family.

Maximus and Olivia were fated to become a solidified love story despite their family business. Unfortunately, time and life would prevent that partnership initially. As a final chapter of The Vendetta Brotherhood series this book is totally worth its weight in gold. I could not stop reading once I began. Page after page filled with “ah-ha” 😮 and “gasping” 🫢 moments kept me right on the edge. When some of the previous character appeared it just intensified every scene and chapter into more greatness. This author never disappoints her readers. Highly recommend not only this book but the entire series.

The characters were very appealing and complex and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Another great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Maximus and Olivia become secret friends at a young age. Olivia becomes engaged to Dale until her brother Roberto kills him in front of her. Maximus comes to Olivia's rescue as Roberto tries to auction off Olivia to the highest bidder. They quickly become married as Maximus provides protection as head of the Rossi mafia family. Danger comes from unknown fronts as Maximus and Olivia start off their new marriage. This steamy mafia romance has scorching chemistry! Well developed world building with characters from the series. I LOVED it!!! A must read!!!!

Max and Livvie first met 10 years ago at a function their parents were at. They drifted in and out of each others orbits over the years but when her fiancé is killed and her brother intends to sell her to the highest bidder, Max steps in and marries her instead.
There's more to both of these two than meets the eye; both suppressing feelings and emotions, and keeping secrets from each òther. They both have issues with their families that need to be dealt with but who can be trusted?
An end to this series but I would have liked Jake to get his story with Poppy.

I love the Vendetta Brotherhood series and now we have crossed the ocean with a seamless transition, of course it helps that Jordan and Megan et al come to assist. Olivia is such a great character and so strong, no wonder she and Megan get on so well. Max only kills bad people so he is still a hero. There are twist and turns galore in this story and there is mayhem and heat and intrigue. There is heat and there are stories left unfinished, presumably so we can have further books in the series, and a truly dramatic ending. Wonderful story!

Maximus and Olivia have my whole heart! There is something incredibly captivating about a secret, forbidden friendship that evolves into an all-consuming passion. Maximus is the ultimate alpha—lethal yet completely devoted—and the stakes in this book couldn't be higher. Robertson delivers the perfect blend of danger, raw chemistry, and a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. Highly recommended!

I don't easy give out 5 starts for a book. I read a lot, and after a while the book has to be really really good to be given 5 stars. I have my own personal measure which is secret, but anyways. This book was it. It started great, I was in it from start to finish. I hate that I couldn't read it in one go, and that life's tasks kept me from finishing it in one setting, but ..... 5 stars read for me. Thank you.

Book 7 of The Vendetta Brotherhood is Maximus. It's Maximus and Olivia's story and thus couple is everything. Their journey is a beautiful, intriguing, dramatic, friends to lovers story that quickly pulls you in and holds you in place from start to finish. There's two side to Maximus and seeing him revert from one persona to the other is fantastic. Cold, cruel and calculating and then he's warm, loving and kind with Olivia. It's a fantastic addition to this series.

Maximus Book 7 of the Vendetta Brotherhood Book Seven by CR Robertson was well worth waiting for...outstanding! Maximus and Olivia are a great couple, love them! Great suspense, action, characters and finding Maximus' soft side loved it!! I enjoyed this series and especially this book. Highly recommend.

Maximus Rossi meets Olivia 10 years ago , they become friends and share nice memories. In the present Maximus will again save Olivia this book will take you to a world with so much cruelty. What I liked most about the book was the emotional depth of the characters. The author did an excellent job of making the characters feel realistic, allowing me to connect with their struggles, fears, and personal growth throughout the story. The relationship between the main characters was engaging, and their chemistry added excitement and emotion to the plot.
