Viper is a brother’s best friend romantic suspense that has been teasing us since the previous book. Seeing Viper stumble over his feelings for Paige is adorable. I was cheering him on to move faster, and was I disappointed when there was another man? In a blink, that man turns Paige’s world around in the worst possible way!
I was turning pages as fast as possible, just waiting for that rescue, and Viper didn’t disappoint. Was I frustrated when Viper still hesitated to tell Paige why he came? Of course! After everything? Come on! Paige is no withering flower, and I loved how she took the chance she always wanted.
When these two finally came together, fireworks, baby! And it was so satisfying. I was laughing hard as the team absolutely took pleasure in teasing Viper, and Striker as they came to an understanding. I enjoyed their camaraderie, unwavering support, and banter through the toughest moments as they held on to hope.
Did it get unhinged towards the end when the psycho gets Paige again? Heck yeah! The struggles the team goes through to get Paige had me sympathising with the fear they felt. Paige fought hard, and I was once again waiting for that rescue.
Romance, danger, action, laughter, and a found family that has your back is what awaits you with Viper.

I get excited every time I see a new Samantha Wilde release... legit, excited to stay up way too late reading and be exhausted the next day. She does action & adventure that well that it's not difficult in the least.
Viper absolutely surpassed Samantha's page-turning, detailed dive into romantic suspense. From the first chapter, Viper and Paige's connection tugs the reader. That "unrequited" love on both sides that is actually a deep craving for each other, and the heat when they look at each other! Wow!

Terrific Forbidden Romantic Suspense
When I am looking for a thrilling romantic suspense with hot alpha protective males, off the charts chemistry and steamy spice the first place I look is Samantha Wilde and it is books like “Viper” that never disappoint me. It is a well written fast-paced gripping suspense that take lots of twists and turns that includes murder, danger, violence, kidnaping and loads of suspense. Viper is an alpha protective male that will do anything to protect the one he loves even if she is a forbidden line he has spent five long years refusing to cross. Love all the amusing harmless banter between all the members of Phantom Ops too. Do not want to give to much away, but you will not be able to put this one down. Definitely a captivating read that you will not want to miss.

A wonderful mystery, full of action, suspense and emotion, whilst also allowing Viper and Paige to express how deep their feelings are for each other.

Suspense, steam, secrets revealed, action, surprises, twist and turns and amazing characters that kept me flipping the pages. I LOVED the no drama between them, how easily they fit together and how they navigate her older brother Atlas. The story flowed with descriptions that were spot on and a HEA that was well deserved after all that happens.

What a rollercoaster this book will send you on. If you like gripping, fast-paced, action-packed stories full of suspense, twists and turns, then this book is for you. Troy 'Viper' Evans has fallen for his best friend's sister, Paige, and when he gets the call from Striker that she is in danger, he springs into action.
But rescuing her is just the start and as their relationship develops it's not just a crazed man after Paige, but someone much more deadly, and it will take the whole team to save her.
I have really enjoyed this series and was not disappointed with Viper, which grabbed me from the first page to the end. I ended up reading it in one sitting as I couldn't put it down. Really excited to read the next in the series.

In true Samantha fashion this was another fast paced action packed, heart pounding read and I literally could not put it down. I absolutely loved Paige. My heart broke for her for what she had to go through but she was so strong. When Paige is in danger there isn’t anything Viper aka Troy wouldn’t do to save and protect her. I also loved getting to see the other guys and their wives and sweet Emmy. One of my favorite things about reading Samantha’s books is that they make me feel everything and this one was no different. I felt like I could feel the suspense, danger and the tension but I could also feel the love Paige and Viper have for each other. So if you are looking for an action packed, swoon worthy protective alpha MMC and a strong bada** FMC then you will love this one!

I voluntarily reviewed "VIPER" (PHANTOM OPS) for my honest opinion dealing with a deadly stalker obsession, action, danger, steam, intense drama with twists keeping you turning the pages.
Viper with Phantom Ops is all about dangerous missions, targets no problem but his best friends sister is a one line he won't cross even if she haunts his dreams his feeling have been buried a long time for her.
Paige Wall left to put distance between her & Viper but ends up in a dire situation with a deadly obsessed stalker after her, Viper steps up immediately when he finds out she's in grave danger he'll do anything to protect her.
Will Viper catch the threat after Paige to end up getting a HEA its a page turner you don't want to miss you so won't be disappointed.

He is more determined and has her firmly in his sights and Viper and the team are just as determined he doesn't succeed. It's cat and mouse at its finest. The cat is bigger than his prey, but the mice outnumber him and are more agile. Drama, danger, love, sex, romance...deaths on the sides.

The book immediately starts off super action packed and had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. I felt so bad for Paige because this girl literally never got a break from Craig. It was just one thing after another, and the amount of torture and trauma she had to go through was honestly insane. Every time I thought things might finally calm down for her, something else would happen. She seriously deserved her happily ever after after everything she went through.
I also love a good best friend’s sister trope, so I was really into Paige and Troy. I especially loved how protective Troy was of Paige throughout everything.

Viper has loved Paige from afar since she is his best friend's little sister. She came down to the Keys to try to forget him and move on. He came down to finally tell her how he feels. When things in Paige's life take a turn for the worse and she is in danger, Viper is handy to help her out. The sick serial killer after Paige, won't give up and is proving very illusive, but Viper doesn't give up either! As they chase the killer through the Keys, Paige and Viper give into their feelings and know that they won't give up on each other either. A great book with the danger and the feelings escalating together, until they find their HEA.

Viper is the definition of a deadly, brooding operator who has one single rule, that is until Paige's life is on the line and he throws every single rule out the window. Watching him switch into full protective mode is a total swoon-worthy moment.
If you are like me, and love military / covert ops romance with high-intensity rescues, and the "he'll burn the world down to keep her safe" energy, you need to grab this immediately. I'm ready for the next one!

All Paige wanted was have a fun time on her holiday with her friend. But after meeting a guy and being on his boat all her instants scream no. Knowing she needs help Paige phones calls her brother. Viper ie. Troy has know Paige for ages as she is the sister of his best friend. He is not going to allow some jerk hurt her. Paige means more to him after a kiss a few months back.
But the man is more than a jerk, he is dangerous. This book is full of drama, angst, suspense, emotion. Watching Paige and Viper open up about her they feel is heart pulling.

Wow, this was so hard to put down. I love Viper and Paige. Their chemistry is off the charts and they are such a wonderful pairing. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and wanting to be right there trying to protect Paige, even if I would have been in danger. Talk about twists and turns, suspense, and then them getting the best HEA! You will love this and won't be let down. Such a great addition to Phantom Ops series. I am falling more and more in love with these guys.

Whew what a brilliant story. Brothers best friend's sister who is in danger and needs protection.
Fast, dangerous and suspenseful. So well written. The dynamic between Paige and Viper with the friction and attract thrown in. A great romance.
This was about Paige who was getting stalked and needed protection, so Viper being closest steps in.

I would consider this a dark read as it involves a serial killer. It was certainly a fast paced dramatic read and my heart went out to Paige for what she had to endure. I loved Viper though. He was a such a protector and would do anything for those he loved. The ending was certainly fitting in my opinion. If you like romantic suspense, then you’ll certainly enjoy this book.

Love these Phantom Ops guys. Viper is up and he's all in with Striker's sister, Paige. An edge-of-your-seat read with this villain and story. Definitely a gritty read, but also a feel good happy ending. I loved this story and the fast-paced read was perfect for me. "I like your kind of crazy."

When Troy ‘Viper’ Evans gets the call that Paige is in imminent danger there is nothing stopping him from getting to his best friend’s sister. Ever since they bumped into each other a couple of months ago and he kissed her, he’d been sunk.
Getting away from a madman once hasn’t slowed the determination Viper has to not let Paige get away again. But Viper is equally determined to protect Paige with his life.
I wish the excessive profanity had been scaled back as it ended up taking away from the story more than adding to it, and this author and her staff needed to reread the full book details before it went out to preview readers.
I was gifted an ARC and freely offer this review.

Viper and Paige's story had me hooked from the very beginning. I absolutely loved it! Viper is hands down my favorite. I look forward to the next book in this series. And, I really hope Havoc ends up with Marissa. Can't wait to read his story!
