About the author

I began writing dark erotica in 2014. I found that it really irritated me how authors bring down their male leads and make love stories sappy. I continually began to feel unfulfilled with reading. So I wrote a book how I like to read it. I find that although my stories are full on and seem a bit much, so many of my readers have connected to them. I try to tone it down ever so often in my books, but I find I write better the harder the material I write about.

I wanted to give this one 5 stars, and would have, except the ending came up too fast, and I felt it had too much of a shocking end to wrap up that quickly.

Raquel starts off on weekend getaway with her boyfriend, while two men, & a woman show up with their partner shot. They help nurse this Wes back to health, while being held hostage. Raquel falls for the other guy; Brodie. Wes wants him to kill the witnesses when he recovers, but Brodie can’t & takes Raquel for himself.

This is where it gets twisty- Wes’ sister - Lara is living with Brodie and she is not happy when he brings Raquel home to live with them. Brodie doesn’t want Lara but Wes is married to Chantelle (Brodie’s sister) and he has to make him happy or he will hurt his sister. Yikes ..... that was hard to even put in words!

When Brodie kicks Lara out to be with Raquel, Wes is not happy. They all end up at Wes with him threatening them all. Raquel is allowed to leave safely if Brodie marries Lara, and sends Raquel home. Kicker is Raquel is pregnant and nobody knows. When they find out, Brodie wants to leave Lara and be with Raquel.
This is the part that occurs really fast ...... Wes and Brodie fight, ending in Wes beating up and shooting Chantelle. Brodie is sad and ends up just in time for Raquel to give birth to their daughter.

I really would have liked to see Wes & Chantelle get a story, but with her dead, not so much.

Good story, had me interested and I liked the characters.

Not for everyone that's for sure

Seriously crazy he was abusive. While not as bad as some of her other guys in the other books I have read by her. He still wàs abusive both mentally and physically. I can never really deal with cheating but I still read her books. Just so much drama. A good way to pass time if your board.

Loved Racquel....she was funny, smart and strong and this Alpha was not as brutal as the other's can be:))
