At the beginning of the book I thought it might be a book about another "how I got rich and famous" person. But was I wrong! Ken gave me this book at a Rotary International Convention in Salt Lake City a couple of years ago. This is a totally inspiring book about how one man, after finally finding his "purpose" in life achieved happiness and fulfillment by helping individuals overcome mobility. The stories are amazing and inspiring. If you want to be uplifted and moved to doing good for someone, read this book.

Just because he's a good man doesn't make this a good book. Nice story but the latter part is extremely repetitive.

I enjoyed this book. Mr. Behring is obviously a great man who has donated to so many causes. Reading about his growing up in the Depression, I was impressed by his 'what ever it takes' way to earn a dime. This chicken coup used car salesman has quite a story to tell. However his experiences giving wheel chairs of hope really molded the man. I also got reinvigorated for next Fall's teaching reading his history and experiences with NHD.

Growing up in poverty but becoming a rich man sent Ken Behring on a quest for purpose. He developed a program to contribute wheelchairs to those in need in poverty stricken areas. He has worked with the Knights of Columbus in his efforts and numerous other organizations to futher his efforts.
