Whispering Grove #6

Knot Me In Paradise: A Cozy Omegaverse Romance

Rate this book
She ran from a killer. She just didn’t expect to find three more.

I overheard my boyfriend order a hit. Twenty-four hours later, the man’s name was on the news. I was already gone, packed light, left fast, and telling myself I’d figure the rest out later.

Later came in the form of a van parked on a beach in Oahu. A surfboard from a friend who asks no questions. It was working, right up until two of my ex’s men showed up on the shore and cut off my exit.

So I did the only logical thing. I paddled out to three strangers and started a fight.

They’re rude, gorgeous, and way too dangerous to be as tempting as they are. Worse, the second I get close, my body loses its mind. The way they smell is doing something to me that I have absolutely no framework for, because now is not the time for my heat. Especially when all three of them are suddenly paying a little too much attention to the men waiting on the beach behind me.

What I don’t know yet is that before they were surfers, they put people in the ground for a living.

What they don’t know yet is that the trouble following me is the kind that doesn’t stop.

Which is going to be a problem, because the three men in front of me are already acting like letting anything happen to me would be personal.

But right now, two men are waiting on that beach. And three very gorgeous strangers just offered to take me to lunch.

Honestly?

Close enough to a plan.

Knot Me In Paradise is a standalone RH Omegaverse romance that blends danger, heat, and sharp humor with irresistible chemistry and possessive heroes. Perfect for readers who love protective alphas, a heroine on the run, and the kind of tension that turns deadly into delicious.

Knot Me In Paradise is book six of the Whispering Grove series. The books can be read as standalones but do have crossover characters.

Adelaide overhears something she shouldn’t and has to run for her life. On her trek to find safety, she bumps into Ace and the duo share a ‘mile high’ experience. Shortly after, she bumps into Ace again only this time he has his equally gorgeous packmates, Luca & North, with him. The guys take Adelaide under their very protective wings and vow to keep her safe.

Mystery abounds. Secrets are revealed. Danger threatens.

This book, like all the Whispering Grove series, has excellent witty banter and a fast paced writing style. A delightful and read. Great addition to the series.

OMG love this series each book gets better and better - i wasnt so sure about this one being set outside whispering grove and although it wasnt the same if pretend you dont adore whispering grove and read this a a stand alone spin off away from the other books then its a wonderful read.

Adelaide is strong protecting everyone from her troubles constantly running until she meets her scent match's but has she jumped out of teh frying pan and into teh fire as her mates could be worse than the danger that she has been running from or are they??

Great relationship building and amazing tesion especially whilst she is deciding if she needs to run again or stay.

if you havent read any of this series yet this book is an easy place to start and you wont be dissapointed!

Thank you to Harley Knight and her team for a free advanced copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Yesss! Another book to this brilliant series is here! And I may or may not have read it twice before writing this review, however that is between me and my Kindle. With that, let’s jump into the review!

I swear this series just keeps getting better with every single book. I was a little nervous going into this one because it takes us away from the usual setting, but honestly? The second I stopped comparing it to the previous books and let it stand on its own, I completely fell in love with it. It still has all the things that make this series addictive: incredible chemistry, emotional tension, found family vibes, and characters you can’t help but root for.

Adelaide was such a fantastic FMC. She’s strong in that very real, exhausting way where she’s so used to carrying everything on her own that accepting help feels almost impossible. After overhearing something terrifying involving her boyfriend, she does the smartest thing possible and runs before he can stop her. Watching her constantly battle between survival instincts and the desire to finally let someone care for her made her feel incredibly layered.

And the MMCs? Absolutely obsessed. The chemistry between Adelaide and Ace starts immediately and never lets up, but what I loved most was how distinct each relationship felt as the story developed. The tension was so good, especially because it wasn’t just instant attraction carrying everything. The characters actually talked to each other, learned boundaries, built trust, and slowly created a connection that felt earned even with the fated mates element involved.

I also really appreciated that most of the conflict came from external threats rather than pointless relationship drama. The men were protective without being overbearing and genuinely seemed to understand Adelaide instead of trying to change her. There’s still emotional conflict, especially as Adelaide wrestles with whether she should stay or keep running.

If you’re looking for a omegverse romance with amazing relationship development, protective and lovable MMCs, a capable FMC, and just the right balance of tension and heart, this is absolutely worth picking up. Even if you haven’t started the series yet, this would honestly be a great place to jump in.

Knot me in paradise is another great read in the Whispering Grove series. Even though the majority of this book was in Oahu.

On the run from an Ex led Adelaide (FMC) to a paradise in Oahu and 3 hot surfers - Ace, North & Luca. Their lives become entangled with Adelaide when men come looking for her & their protective nature comes out. I loved Adelaide and her friend Clio. They were a laugh in this book for me. I'm loving this series so much and I can't wait to get my hands on more books from it in the future.

I really enjoyed this spicy omegaverse story. All the books in the series are standalone but I would recommend reading them all as there all amazing.
Good strong well described characters. I do love whispering grove but really enjoyed the change of scenery with this book.
I really hope Clio's story is next or in the pipeline, she has plenty of personality I already know I would love that story too.

Adelaide is on the run, after hearing her ex confess to something. Running to paradise, should’ve kept her under the radar but she’s caught the eyes of three hot surfers.

Things heat up as men start searching for Adelaide in paradise and Ace, North, & Luca can’t help but feel protective.

I love the danger, mystery, and spice that comes with this story. The banter is on point and the story was great. If you haven’t read the Whispering Grove series you should it’s a delight.

I adore how much these characters talked and got to know each other even as they were instantly attracted and wanting each other. Most of the conflict is external. Sweet, devoted MMCs. Confident, direct FMC. HFN only because they haven't bonded by the end but it's clear they will (and they're fated mates). No OW drama. OM drama from an ex the FMC isn't interested in. A good read overall.

Fun, kinda, if you can get past the dumb

I'm really tired of writers writing stupid women.

"I'm being hunted by dangerous men, I'll just keep going to people for help without asking for help, putting myself and them in danger by not telling them what's happening" all while telling them "I don't want to bring you my mess" even though, obviously, you brought the mess.

The whole theme could be fun, but the poorly written attempt at "slow burn" and the irritatingly stupid MFC made it almost impossible to finish. This book made me angry at so many points.

One minute MFC is pushing away from the man she's already slept with because "we shouldnt do this" then she's blowing guy #2 in the truck an hour later.

The plot is meh at best especially at the end.

Our FMC, Adelaide, was amazing. I loved her so much! She’s so strong and doesn’t want to bring her problems to anyone else’s door, so it’s hard for her to accept help. When she tries to surprise her then boyfriend by showing up announced she hears him speaking to someone about making a contact about taking someone out. When she realizes what she hears… she runs. She thinks she got away without him hearing her, but nope. He threatens her to stay put, but like she smart girl she is she packs a small bag and gets right on a plane to Hawaii to see her bestie Clio!

While at the airport and on the plane she runs into a very fine Alpha- Ace. They have some smokin chemistry and join the mile high club. She’s scared about bringing him into this dangerous time in her life and decides to bolt off the plane while he’s still asleep when they land.

Once she lands and gets situated, she buys a little van to live out of instead of staying with Clio. One a hot day about two weeks later she goes out for a surf…. only to have two men in suits who do not belong on the beach come after her, so she runs to the water where three alphas are. One goes to surf so it’s just the two sitting still. North and Luca. They’re into each other from the first moment they interact. Only to have the third alpha reveal himself…. Ace. He’s been looking for her since she left him on the plane. She wasn’t able to find him either, because she totally regretted ditching him.

Those men her ex sent trash her van and cut her tires, so she takes the offer from the big three alphas to stay with him. It’s hard for her to trust them at first, but she realizes she can and they will take care of her. There are some trials from that moment on and some big surprises, but I don’t want to give anything else away. Just read the book!

This book was filled with secrets, tears, happiness, a shocking reveal, spice, and laughter. I couldn’t put it down once I started it!!! I’m obsessed with every single one of the guys and Norths extra special package! It was hard fought for, but we get a HEA!

We are back in Whispering Grove, and I’m gonna be honest, as soon as I read the synopsis to this book I was hooked. Not even lying. Now let’s get down to the nitty gritty. Adelaide is on the run after overhearing her ex doing something shady. We get a little cameo of Chris and Hannah in the beginning, and shortly after she leaves to Hawaii to visit her friend, and also, it’s the perfect place to hide, right? On the way to visit her friend we meet Ace, being the greenflag Alpha he is, he intercepts someone trying to mess with our girl Adelaide. Things advance from there, and then, poof she’s gone in the wind, and Ace has no clue where to find her. Fast forward to an early morning on the beach, two suspicious men, and she surfs her way out to our MMC’s and we get a reunification with Ace!

I will say one thing I really am picky about with my books is miscommunication. There was a slight miscommunication trope (if you can even call it that) which was resolved super quickly and I loved it. The energy from all of the characters were there, the plot was there, and it all came together beautifully! Honestly from the moment I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. As she grows to accept what she deserves, she flourishes, and our MMC’s North, Luca, and Ace really help her do that. I’m so excited for the next book and cannot emphasize how ready I am to see where this series goes. I hope it never ends, but all good things do come to an end. If you’re a fan of a garaunteed HEA, love to giggle and kick your feet as you’re reading, and love a good suspense element, this is for you. I cannot recommend this book, honestly this whole series enough! It’s been hit after hit for me, and it’s so hard to find the hidden gems in Omegaverses.

🌟I received an ARC and provided my honest review and opinion on this book. 🌟

Knot Me in Paradise is another amazing addition to the Whispering Grove series! It’s fun, flirty and full of witty banter and spice! I LOVE Adelaide! She had me cracking up most of the book! She’s on the run from a bad situation with her ex that threatens to follow her no matter where she goes. Luckily she ends up in paradise (Oahu) and paddles out to discover 3 deliciously smelling alphas who would do anything to protect her!

“Let me ruin you, Adelaide.”

I loved the instant chemistry with Ace! That plane scene was fun and filthy (in the best way)! Luca- so funny and loved the banter between him and Adelaide! North… oh North might just be my fav. He was the last to be intimate with her and boy was it worth it!

He’s the unofficial pack alpha. He’s calm and assured and it was so fun to see him and Adelaide affect each other! She finally starts to open up to them, trusting them and letting the know who she’s running from and they will do anything to protect her. She’s also their scent match and that just makes it even better.
They guys have a dark past, and though they do allude to it.. Addi discovers more secrets and between man that a an old missing person case assumes the worst. There is some tears and miscommunication but resolves quickly and leads to some steamy HEAT. Harley packed in the best spice! Sharing is caring! There is also plenty of spicy Microtropes throughout! 🥵 (no biting or bonds but plenty of love! )

Loved the relationship between her bff Clio and I hope we get her story too! I was also glad to see her reconnect with her brother Chris! This was a great Omegaverse read and I would highly recommend!

Thank you so much to Author Harley Knight and team for the eARC! All opinions are my own.

Disclaimer: I am not a summer, sunshine girly. I live for crisp days and overcast skies. That being said, I loved Knot Me In Paradise. Harley Knight really sets the stage. Adelaide is an omega on the run and picks Hawaii as the perfect place to hide. Harley did a great job with the descriptions; everything was lush and vivid. Hawaii has its own unique culture. Harley did a great job of getting that across.

I love a story with good banter. This book might have some of the best banter I've ever read. Adelaide is smart, sassy, and quick-witted. She can keep up with the guys, or should I say they can keep up with her. The back-and-forth was an amazing switch from playful to flirty at the drop of a hat. Adelaide was one of those characters who ran from what they wanted, but she had her reasons. I'm just glad she wasn't annoying with her antics. The guys had traumatic pasts and didn't make the best decisions, but they're all better people now. I liked all of them. North surprised me the most. I thought he was going to be the silent type, but as the story continued, he revealed a more open, lighter personality.

The story was fantastic! The tropical setting was a little different from the normal Whispering Grove book. It shook things up. From the people to the different activities, it had a vibe. The plot was good. Adelaide is on the run from a seriously bad guy. There were near misses, a protection detail involving three alphas, and a bunch of secrets. I'm a big fan of Hallmark mysteries (do not judge), so I got a real kick out of the murder club Addi joins with her best friend Clio. There were cold cases and murder boards. I just wish there were a few more scenes with them. The plot twist was so out of left field that my mind sort of short-circuited for a second. Because seriously, what?! No one would've seen that coming. Knot Me In Paradise was another great read from Harley Knight. I love this series; I hope it never ends.

This book overall was a pretty good read! I’m not typically into organized crime (adjacent) stories since I’m more drawn to lighter themes, but this one was absolutely readable and enjoyable.

One nitpicky critique I have is that I think this story should have been a stand alone outside of the series because it barely ties into whispering grove. Of course Adelaide is from there, but 99% of the story takes place in Hawaii, so for it to be a part of the whispering grove series doesn’t make total sense to me.

A less nitpicky critique I have is that this book is centered around a (presumably by all descriptions of all of them) white pack, who say some odd things about Hawaii that seem insensitive, especially one comment coming from Adelaide specifically who did not grow up there (the line was something along the lines of “I guess Oahu is just a place for damaged people,” referring to herself and her MMCs but it’s still a weird thing to say imo). The only Native Hawaiian people in the story are with the organized crime syndicate of the island which seems like an odd choice as well. With the history of Hawaii being colonized, those things didn’t sit quite right with me. I don’t know the author’s background, and I in no way shape or form mean this in a way to call them out, rather, I just want it to be known how I’m perceiving it.

Yes, this is a sweet and fictional romance novel, but the choices to have a white pack and Native Hawaiian crime boss, as well as a few odd comments about the setting of the Hawaiian islands seems odd to me.

Other than those things, the book was pretty enjoyable!

Knot Me in Paradise is book six in the Whispering Grove series, but can easily be read as a standalone.

This new installment was such a fun read, with just enough mystery and whodunit elements to keep things engaging, all wrapped in a tropical setting that honestly made me want to pack a bag and leave.

I really enjoyed getting to know Adelaide and her three Alphas. One thing I consistently love about Harley’s books is that, while we are firmly in an OV setting where heats and scents matter, that’s never the sole foundation of the relationships. The romance is given space to grow before biology steps in, and the characters feel like real people—with jobs, hobbies, and lives outside of the central plot.

There’s definitely spice, and the dynamics we expect from the genre are all there, but the focus remains on building something lasting rather than just forming a pack.

At this point, Harley’s books have a very recognizable structure: a capable FMC who finds herself in danger, a pack of Alphas with complicated pasts ready to step in, and a guaranteed happy ending. And honestly? That’s part of the appeal. You know what you’re getting going in, and if that formula works for you, it really works. Each story still brings its own twist—whether through the characters, the setting, or the central mystery—so while it feels familiar, it never feels stale.

If you’re looking for something comforting, engaging, and reliably satisfying, this series continues to deliver.

Adelaide ran when she overheard her boyfriend order a hit. She fled the mainland and hid out in Oahu living a comfy van life. After a few weeks, Adelaide spies two suspicious men watching her from the shore as she's out on her surfboard. She takes a risk and paddles over to three gorgeous Alphas, making a bet she can out-surf them. Yet something else happens when she meets this pack. Her body zings and her nose tells her they're her scent matches. Adelaide knows she's bringing trouble to the island, but she can't help falling for these hot surfers, and they are willing to risk everything to keep her safe.

This is the sixth book in the fabulous and cozy Omegaverse reverse harem romance series, Whispering Grove. This one has a different setting, and I loved the cozy life in Hawaii. From Adelaide's sweet van to the pack's beautiful beachside house. Big waves, sunsets, yummy food at restaurants, and a wild chicken with an attitude. I laughed out loud and I was on the edge of my seat. Adelaide is brave but she always thinks something bad is going to happen. It's up to the hot Alphas to show her that she can count on them and that happy days can be her new normal. If they survive the trouble her ex is causing. I loved Adelaide's best friend Clio and her murder club, and how the plot tied up so well. There are sweet and steamy moments which always keep me coming back to this series. I can't wait for more.

This book isn’t centered in whispering grove. However, our FMC Adelaide, is from there, and she spends a short time with her brother there after hearing something she shouldn’t have and running. She overhears a conversation between her boyfriend and an unknown man while trying to surprise him at the office with food. Days later that same name is on the news. Now she’s on the run. Her brother is her go-to when things get dicey, but seeing him happy in his new pack, she refuses to bring trouble to his door. After being spooked by a man on the street She quickly arranges flying to Oahu to stay with her bestie and soak up some sun and surf.
The plane ride there is nothing less than surprisingly eventful, but in the best way. However after heading out to surf, she soon realizes that trouble followed her across the ocean. Planning to enlist a few random men to unknowingly escort her away from the beach and her new stalkers, she soon realizes that more than just the ugly parts of her past can catch up with her. Part of the group of strangers is her hero from the airport/plane ride. things escalate from there in both good and bad ways.
I loved how much talking and flirting, and just casualness happened with Adelaide and the guys. Even while all of them were dealing with this unusually intense attraction, and pasts coming back to haunt them. It really made the relationships seem to happen more naturally, and seem cuter because of it.

The rating systems says 4 stars but I dont really want to spend money to have a copy on my shelves so this cannot be a 4 star book for me. (Especially considering I own the other books in the series and would rather have an incomplete collection than buy this book.) That should tell you enough.

The book was fine. The characters were a tad on the annoying side of fine, but fine. The plot was fine. I don't know if this a case of a series running too long for me and wearing out its welcome of if this book really was just a disappointment compared to how I liked other books in the series.

I hate stupid people. I get not knowing what to do but then going to your brother not telling him about the danger who is capable and connected to actually help you because he has a pack and an omega and then you run to your omega bff who would be as helpless are you are and then tell her everything. Why?

Then fast forward to her not realizing they are scent matches. You jumped the one dude in an airplane bathroom and joined the mile high club within hours of meeting said man because of how he smelled to you. But scent matches? Nope. Couldn't be. Things like this made the Omegaverse parts feel like afterthoughts.

The guys did bad things and had nightmares over it but then didn't do bad things because the people they removed were the scum of the universe so it is fine? Make up your minds.

This was supposed to be an omegaverse but the Alpha/omega aspects read as if they were shoved in there at the last minute. It’s a tease of the OV dynamic and nothing more.

Not to mention, why is the FMC too stupid to live? Literally, the FMC runs to her brother, who handles situations like hers for a living, but doesn’t tell him what’s going on, lies to him, then runs away to Hawaii. There were infinitely better ways to get her and the three guys together than whatever the heck was going on with this beginning of this book.

Also, this is billed as an interconnected standalone. NOPE!! You’re thrown into plots and stories with no information and the expectation that you retain the knowledge from the previous books.

Finally, this book is over 500 pages long!! It did not need to be long. Seriously, about 20% of this book is getting the FMC to Hawaii where she meets the other 2 of the 3 guys. At 40% when I finally DNFed, nothing had really happened. There was so much unnecessary detail—unless we’re talking about OV details then once again, completely lacking/forgotten about—and the pacing was horrendous. We suffered through dozens of over explained pages for crumbs of a plot and relationship development. Definitely not worth it.

I’ll give the author this, she has beautiful character art and great marketing. However, this book failed to deliver even an ounce of what was promised.

Such a fun book with great vibes, I loved it!

Adelaide is on the run after overhearing some shady things involving her boss (and ex), so she heads straight to Hawaii. While there, she ends up escaping some goons at the beach by paddling out… straight into the arms of three Alphas, who just happen to be her scent matches.

North, Ace, and Luca are the perfect Alphas, each with their own charm and a dark, mysterious past. But one thing is clear, they will protect Adelaide at all costs.

The pack dynamic was everything. Each Alpha brought something different, and together they created such a strong, balanced, and loving bond. The chemistry between all of them was amazing and yes, the spicy moments definitely delivered 🥵

Adelaide is tough and independent, but her past makes it hard for her to ask for help or admit when she needs support. Watching these Alphas slowly earn her trust, surround her with patience, understanding, and care was so beautiful. They really let her grow at her own pace, and it made their connection even more special.

This was such a lighthearted, cozy Omegaverse romance with just the right touch of mystery and drama. I had so much fun reading it.

I hope this series never ends. I know Harley can write other series and I love those as well but there is something special about Whispering Grove. I absolutely love the FMC, Adelaide, in this book. She's sassy, snarky, and fun. The MMCs are delicious and don't exactly fit the typical OV stereotypes which is nice. Ace is a bit of a soft dom IMO but he's also super sensitive and funny. Luca is the funny one but also the one to tell her whats up pretty much right away. North is the unofficial pack alpha and he is the silent one but not grumpy just quietly observing, he's also got a little something fun going on with his knot. The banter is amazing, Harley can write banter so well. The chemistry is perfection and the spice, oh the spice, its so good. The story... Adelaide accidentally hears her boyfriend talking about doing a bad crime. Adelaide runs first to her brother then to Oahu with her friend via a very fun plane ride. She doesn't tell her brother anything because she doesn't want to drag him and his pack into it. Eventually the bad dudes catch up with her and she paddles out to our MMCs. Hilarious and sexy hijinks follow with our MMCs (who have a dark past). Miscommunication happens, apologies happen, and then the spiciest heat I've read happens. On a side note, I love when Luca gets to experience the side affects of North's special knot, I laughed so hard.

I wanted to like this more than I did.... considering i lived in hawaii at one point the mentions of several places made me go omg I know this was cool!

The FMC was bullied in school and left town fast and honestly yeah I relate. Sometimes you just need to get away from the triggers for you. So after she starts getting scared from the bad ex she flees again away from her brother thinking they would be safer. I get it but at the same time your brother is a bounty hunter but then again she wouldn't have met her alphas if she didn't fly to hawaii.

The trouble obviously followed and honestly I felt like she waited so long to actually tell them who was after her. It was always "i don't know" when asked about it. She was living in their house and getting taken care so to get mad at the MMC when they have all three said they did bad things, came from bad situations, and that they are different now... was just not fair. So she tries to flee again without asking questions and her friend Clio ( who i loved and was rational.. dexter reference and all) brings them all back together to actually talk. I love groveling but I just didn't think it would be necessary on either side.

Ace is such a golden retriever! North was calming and solid(double 🪢addition). Luca seemed to be a mix of things I enjoyed.

I am 100% looking forward to seeing Clio get her own book!

Running, Healing, and Finding Home

I am absolutely in love with the Whispering Grove series by Harley Knight. I’ve always had a soft spot for the damsel-in-distress trope, and this story delivered it in such a satisfying way.

Adelaide is an omega on the run, fleeing her ex after uncovering something truly intense about him. From LA to Whispering Grove to reunite with her brother, and eventually all the way to Hawaii, her journey is filled with fear, survival, and the constant need to look over her shoulder. One pivotal moment on the beach changes everything when she quite literally paddles her way into the safety of a group of surfers.

Those surfers turn out to be three unforgettable alphas: North, the steady leader with a plan and a deep sense of trust; Luca, the goofy yet fiercely protective one; and Ace, the unexpected one-night stand who turns out to be her scent match.

When it really matters, these men prove they are more than their pasts. They show up for Adelaide in every way—protecting not just her body, but her heart and soul too. Watching their bond grow was both emotional and deeply rewarding.

I can’t wait to see what Harley writes next. I’d especially love to see Clio find the pack she deserves; maybe even with that mysterious thirst trap she’s been talking to.

I received a copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Knot Me in Paradise was such a fun escape and honestly made me want to book a flight to Hawaii immediately. I loved all the tropical vibes. The sunset beaches, torchlit luaus, huge crashing waves, warm rainstorms, all of it. The setting felt so vivid and dreamy and added so much to the story for me.
I also really loved Adelaide as the FMC. She had such a fiery, take no sh*t attitude and I loved that she wasn’t written as weak or helpless even though she was dealing with a really dangerous situation. Watching her relationship with the three surfer alphas develop was so fun, and the chemistry between all of them felt really natural.
The guys being ex-mercenaries gave them this darker, protective edge that made everything more intense in the best way. They weren’t just hot surfers, there was something dangerous underneath that made the whole dynamic even better.
I will say I missed some of Harley Knight’s usual quirky chaos and laugh out loud moments because this one felt more serious than her other books. I also noticed more typos than usual, which pulled me out of the story a few times.
But overall I still really loved this one and would definitely recommend it, especially if you love protective alphas, tropical romance, danger, and lots of spice. And honestly… the spice was VERY good as usual.

Knot Me In Paradise: A Whispering Grove Novel (Book #6) by Harley Knight is an exciting nonshifter contemporary omegaverse. This one is exciting right out the gate. It's fast-paced, fast-burn and has lots of spice. Adelaide is trying to escape her past without bringing those she.cares about into the mess. However a chance encounter at the airport leads to her scent match,Ace, whom she runs from. When her past catches up to her, fate sends Ace in her path along with his pack of 2 other alphas. Is she willing to trust them and allow them to help or is too dangerous to put them at risk. Will she stay and discover them chemistry brewing or run to protect them men she's growing to care about?
I really enjoyed this book and was engaged right from the start and didn't want to put it down. I loved the setting in Hawaii definitely added to the story. This book has plenty of excitement with an omega on the run and the chemistry between Adelaide, Ace, Luca, and North is off the charts. I was definitely there for it! If you enjoy action, suspense, protective alphas, omega on the run, scent matches, forced proximity, found family, why-choose omegaverse then this is a must-read. It is part of a series of standalone so it can be read without reading the rest of the book in the series.

Spice? ✅ Bad boys? ✅ Creepy ex? ✅ Hilarious bestie? ✅
This book has it all. The banter, the spice, and even the exotic destination. Warning: this book will definitely make you want to book the soonest trip out to Hawaii hoping to catch your own surfer bad boys ❤️‍🔥 Oh and the mile high club is an optional perk 😉 I was absolutely addicted to reading this and definitely wished more than once that I was experiencing the gorgeousness of Hawaii.

Adelaide left her quiet hometown of Whispering Grove when she realized she was being followed. enter hawaii Her friend has the dream life: exotic destination, tour guide job, crime solver group-so that’s where Adelaide heads. Life seems to quiet down for only about 3 weeks until she realizes they followed her TO Hawaii so what does she do but pick a fight with three hotties on surfboards. She realizes just a little too late that one of the three just so happens to be Ace❤️‍🔥 As the book continues us readers “meet” each of the three, learn about their backstories, who they are as a pack and how they feel about Adelaide. Not only that, but we get to see them slowly unravel around each other until the sparks ignite and oohhh is it worth the wait 😍 I could definitely read a whole series about them.

I should have listened to my gut and skipped this book. It's not as bad as earlier books in the series but the biggest problem is the lack of intelligent logic from the main characters.

The FMC realizes her employer-cum-boyfriend is a dangerous guy so she runs away ...... To a place he would know, with her cell phone which he can locate her with, and without going to anyone who might be able to actually help her or warning her brother about the danger. And as soon as danger arrives she does the same scurry with her savior best friend as the new locale?

The MMCs are better than the previous books though. They're slightly bland despite the over the top dark backgrounds but they are truly nice and caring for the FMC.

The editing is acceptable, the pacing is quick enough to stay engaging despite the illogical nonsense. The antagonist resolution is actually exceptional. I was shocked by how much I approved that plotline finishing.

It's a bit messy, a bit ridiculous and little funny. You've got a guaranteed HEA and main characters that aren't completely obnoxious. Skip this book if you need closed doors or truly intelligent FMCs. Snag it if you need a mindless read to fill a day or two.

This is my first book by Harley Knight, and I really enjoyed it. I haven’t read any previous books in this series, but after reading this one, I’ll definitely read the others. In this book, we have our FMC, Adelaide, running from a crazy ex/boss to stay with her bff in Hawaii. Right away, she meets our first MMC, Ace, at the airport and hits it off right away. Due to her circumstances, she decided not to get involved with Ace once she landed in Hawaii. Little does she know she’ll be meeting Ace again, along with his two bff, Luca and North.

I think this was a cute book. I haven’t read a cute and warm book in a while, so reading this one was a great change. I love the funny banter between all the MCs. I like how protective they are towards Adelaide and are willing to do anything to keep her safe. I like the pace of the relationship development between our FMC Adelaide and our MMCs. I also love the multiple POVs. Ever since reading a lot of books with multiple POVs, it’s hard to go back to 1 POV, so this is a plus for me. This book is medium to high burn, no MM (another plus), funny/cute banter, and Alpha surfers who dance at a luau. What’s not to like?

This was such a great return to the world of Whispering Grove, even though this story takes place outside of it. Adelaide immediately pulls you in with her strong, lovable personality. After overhearing her boyfriend ordering a hit on someone, she knows it is time to run, which sets off an intense and emotional journey.

Once in Oahu, we meet Ace, North, and Luca, and I absolutely loved them. They are protective, strong, and completely devoted, but Adelaide’s fear and hesitation about trusting anyone creates so much tension throughout the story. Watching her decide whether to keep running or finally stay made the relationship development feel natural and emotional.

Harley Knight really takes you through every emotion with this one. I laughed, stressed, got emotional, and could not stop turning the pages. The story is packed with action, suspense, drama, and amazing chemistry.

Even though it is connected to the Whispering Grove series, this can easily be read as a standalone, and honestly, it is a fantastic place to start if you are new to the series. Another amazing addition, and each book just keeps getting better.
