About the author

Jae is the author of twenty-seven award-winning romances between women. She lives in the sunniest city of Germany, near the French and Swiss borders. The writing bug bit her at the age of eleven.

She used to work as a psychologist but gave up her day job in 2013 to become a full-time writer and a part-time editor. As far as she’s concerned, it’s the best job in the world.

When she’s not writing, she is an avid reader of sapphic books, indulges her ice cream and office supply addictions, and watches way too many crime shows.

This collection of short stories was very sweet. Some were more enjoyable than others but there were so many that I won’t go into them all individually. I particularly enjoyed the ones from EJ Noyes, Jae, Rachael Sommers, Jazz Forrester, Tiana Warner, Carrie Byrd and Lola Keeley. It was so much fun revisiting some beloved characters.

This is a lovely compilation providing us with brand new stories to some of my favourite characters.
Mattie and Jillian from Loser of the Year. Ava and Sloane from Northern Lights. Dani and Nora from Shifting Gears. And of course, Rebecca and Sabine from the phenomenal Ask Tell series, just to name a few.
I smiled. I laughed. And I shed a few happy tears as I caught up with them all. It was like catching up with old friends in the best possible way 🥰

Stalling Around- 5.0/5 This is genuinely one of the most real miscommunications that I think can genuinely happen. Dani misinterprets and Nora doesn’t know that she has to explain it. I get it and I get them. God love them. They are so precious.

If I am totally honest I grabbed this anthology because Sabine and Rebecca, I had to know what was happening but love all the other stories too…so bonus!
