Cutter Grogan Book # 12
The story in a few words:
As a favor to his FBI friends, Cutter Grogan went to Cairo for bring home their confidential informant. Whatever place Grogan goes he is always welcome with a barrage of shots……and this continues all through the entire book.
My thoughts:
Of course, never a dull moment, actually I find keeping up with the flow and the intrigue exhausting. Definitely the story grabs you with its suspense and keeps you deep into it till the very last page. Non-stop action and lots of bans and wow Cutter comes out unscathed and a super hero, one toughest P.I.
The story follows the same winning formulae and same beat and the same style in all the books: written in short sentences, with simple and staccato narrative, lots of action: some ridiculous and some out of this world, always leaving Cutter to save the day.
It is a good story but after the number of books I read (60) from this author the style is getting a bit stale…although I still enjoy reading everything Mr. Patterson will pen.

As a favor to his friends, Gina and Peyton, Cutter Grogan is off to Cairo.
His mission is identify and bring him back to New York a confident informant. Virtually after he arrives, he is targeted by a group of assassins. And this continues all the way through the entire book.
His saving grace is he finds what is improbably the only honest police member in the city named Nadia Mansour. Throughout the story, he continues to find Nadia while he is one of his many disguises and helps herin a situation but never tell her who he is. It's like a running gag throughout the story. In a very short time, Cutter becomes a mysterious hero.
This story grabs you and keeps you in suspense right up until the end. Then you're really happy that you have found another excellent Cutter Grogan novel by Ty Patterson!

Cutter Grogan agrees to go to Cairo to get a confidential information as a favor. It doesn't take long after his arrival before he is dodging bullets. And then he discovers there are multiple groups of people after the CI. But why? What information does he have?
Nadia Mansour is one of the uncorruptible cops in Cairo. She is investigating the murder of a young woman. And the more pressure that is put on her to close out the case, the more she digs in her heels and keeps investigating.
The action is non-stop and will have you turning the pages to see what is in store next for the characters, and the danger level increases as the story progresses.

Cutter Grogan, toughest PI in New York, is asked to travel to Cairo. His job is to pickup an informant and bring him back to New York. Piece of cake he thought, but he soon found out that his target wasn’t ready and was being was actively pursued. When his target refuses to come until he gets certain things done, this turns into a complicated conspiracy with deadly results. This is truly a non stop action adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat ! The non stop action, the cast of of characters and the storyline will blow you away !

Cutter Grogan might want to think before he does a favor for his friends. This time he goes to Cairo to retrieve an asset for Peyton and Gina, and bring the asset back to New York. Easy, right...what Cutter finds is that half of Cairo wants to get the asset and the other half want to kill him. And not only that, but the CIA and Mossad are also after the asset. But when found, the asset won't leave until he retrieves something that he won't disclose to Cutter; only that he has to get it. Cutter has no choice but to help the asset and hope they can both escape alive.

Cutter Grogan is in Cairo to pick up and escort a Confidential informant back to the States. Cutter has to start dodging bullets and more enemies than he should for a simple job; he knows there is more to this story than he's been told. As you start to read, you'll be driving through the streets of Cairo with suspense around every corner. This book has the action, escape, and smart storyline I was wanting. I definitely recommend this read.

Cairo is quite a typical African/Egyptian city where business and crime vie for whatever money might be procured.
As illustrated almost graphically right at the start of this suspenseful action thriller with the killing of a woman and her child subsequently having gone missing.
For Cutter Grogan his aim of fetching a man, Karim, from Cairo as requested by Peyton and Gina, somehow got him involved in deathly conspiracies connected to Karim.
And in the mix we get introduced to a surprising new character, Nadia that will widen your eyes in surprise and an expectation to see her appear somewhere in a future book as well.
All in all , Cairo by author Ty Patterson is simply a great action thriller that will have you paging this book faster and faster all the time as near calamity unfolds chapter by chapter.
