All Roads Lead To Amethyst

Rate this book
Yuki has been seized by the monarchy. The Stone of Lightning is missing. And for the fighters, every problem is spiraling into something far worse and every answer only breeds more danger.

They can’t abandon Yuki to his fate—and they can’t let the stone fall into the wrong hands. Desperate and running out of time, all paths point to one Amethyst.

Shams, Niko, Jaylen, Riven and Yuki have all faced impossible odds before, but this time the stakes are higher—and the enemies deadlier. They know what must be done. But nothing is ever simple. Each step forward drags them deeper into chaos, where magical creatures stalk their path and danger waits in every shadow. The closer they get, the higher the cost.

Yet amid the chaos, bonds begin to strengthen, trust begins to grow, and hope flickers to life.

Until it shatters.

Because just when victory feels within reach, they’re struck by the one thing they never saw coming—

Betrayal.

I am emotionally filing a complaint against this book. 😭

I went into book two already invested, and somehow it still managed to get its claws into me even more. I was cheering for Shams, yelling at Niko, putting him on my crap list, taking him OFF my crap list, accusing everyone of betrayal, catching little references that made me ridiculously happy, and sending increasingly unhinged messages to the author as everything fell apart.

The characters are what really got me. They’re messy, complicated, and very easy to get attached to. Which became a PROBLEM when this book decided my feelings were apparently expendable. I refuse to discuss Niko without legal representation. 😢

The twists kept coming, and even when I correctly suspected a few things, there was always something else waiting around the corner. And apparently some characters are fictional cockroaches who simply refuse to die. Looking at you, Silas. You have officially entered Jack Barlowe territory, and I dislike you enough that I refuse to check whether I spelled either of your names correctly. 😡

This was fast, funny, emotional, and increasingly stressful in the best and WORST ways. I finished the last chunk basically bargaining with the author, rejecting things I had read with my own eyes, and demanding book three.

Which brings me to my final complaint:

WHERE IS BOOK THREE?!

I’m kinda lost for words at the moment. I love the direction the story took it was unpredictable and entertaining and the tension between the characters had me giggling and kicking my feet 🫣 Shams is such a funny character and I think she’s really relatable. The ending took me by surprise and I’m kind of upset 😭 but only because I have to wait for the next book 💔

I loved the first book in this series, and honestly, I really enjoyed this one too!

Niko and Sham… they have SUCH strong chemistry.I love their enemies-to-lovers vibe, and I’m really hoping they end up together someday 😆 I’m rooting for them so hard.

The writing is so easy to read and I was really into the story. But that plot twist though… 😳 I did NOT see that coming!

Now I just have one question…

WHERE IS THE THIRD BOOK????? 😭
