They were my father’s best friends. Older. Untouchable. Off-limits in every way that mattered. For years, they watched me—protected me—always there, always close, but never crossing the line. Leo. Aries. Orion. Leo knows exactly how to calm the storm in me—and exactly how far to push before I stop wanting to be calm at all. Aries guards me like something already claimed, his presence a constant, dangerous promise that no one touches me unless he allows it. Orion looks at me like I’ve always belonged to him, his restraint the only thing that ever kept me out of his reach... Then the tension started to shift into something I wasn’t supposed to feel... One moment where restraint shattered and something forbidden took its place. One night that blurred every line between us… and left me with something none of us could take back. So I left. I told myself it was over, that whatever had happened between us could never exist beyond that night. But I didn’t just leave them behind. I left with a secret. A secret I kept from them for over a year. But secrets have a way of working their way to the surface. Now my father is gone, and the system he built is becoming something far more dangerous than he ever intended. And somehow, that same secret—the one I’ve been carrying alone—ties me back to them in ways I can’t escape. Because they’re back. Watching me the way they used to… only this time, there’s no distance. No restraint. No pretending this is something it isn’t. They say I belong to them. That I always have. And the way they look at me now, they’re done letting me run…
Gwendolyn Morgan's stories are rich with tension, layered with darkness, and fueled by undeniable heat. Expect ruthless yet magnetic heroes, feisty heroines who match them step for step, and worlds where loyalty, power, and passion collide. Whether set in the brutal elegance of the mafia underworld or the magic-soaked shadows of fantasy realms, her books deliver high stakes, intense connection, and romances that refuse to play it safe.
She lives in Southern California with her family. When she's not writing, she loves to spend time outdoors, traveling and reading.
This book had all my favorite tropes together. It had reverse harem, age gap and slightly forbidden romance. And yet the author completely messed it up and couldn’t pull it off. In the beginning of the story, we literally go from 0 to 100. The sex scene in the sex club is out of nowhere and probably one of the weakest and shortest sex scenes I’ve ever read. How are you gonna give us three hot guys in a sex club and put zero effort into writing that scene? That alone deserves only one star. Then we get stupid fucking time jumps, which I hate cause it’s just lazy writing. And then we get the world’s worst, basically none, groveling. She takes them back literally within a second. The scenes jump kind of all over the place. That has you scratching your head and wondering what the hell is going on. Again, the sex scenes are just deplorable. Extremely, extremely short. Very unimaginative and cliché. And there is no getting the FMC wet before they just stick it in her. That’s some bullshit. I would expect from a male author or not from a female author. We can do better people. And I feel like if you’re gonna write a book that includes sex scenes put in some fucking effort and don’t be lazy. Don’t make them 2 pump chumps. Let the girl get aroused or give her some lube. Don’t just use the same tired old positions. Be imaginative. Be inventive. Be creative. Put some thought and passion into it. And make it make sense. You can’t have him standing at the opening of a door one second and literal next sentence he’s ripping her panties off with his teeth. He is not the flash. It just sucked and it pissed me off because I was looking forward to it so I just couldn’t continue to torture myself beyond 50%. And don’t even get me started on the bullshit mafia backstory that literally made no sense whatsoever.
**Forbidden Among the Stars by Gwendolyn Morgan** is a fun sci-fi romance that blends forbidden love, high-stakes tension, and plenty of steam into an entertaining space adventure. The story follows two characters who know they shouldn't be together, but their chemistry makes resisting nearly impossible. As secrets unravel and outside forces threaten their future, the emotional stakes rise alongside the romance.
What I enjoyed most was the tension between the main characters. The forbidden aspect of their relationship keeps the story engaging, and the push-and-pull between duty and desire creates plenty of angst. The space setting adds an extra layer of adventure without overshadowing the romance, making it a great choice for readers who enjoy both sci-fi and spicy romance. Themes commonly associated with forbidden romances—yearning, obstacles, and emotional conflict—are front and center here.
The spice level is definitely on the hotter side, with several steamy scenes that feel earned by the growing connection between the characters. Fans of forbidden romance, forced proximity, and strong romantic tension will likely find a lot to love.
this was such a good story. Andee aka Andromeda was the daughter of Atlas Voss who ran a security firm with his three best friends Orion, Leo and Aries. She fell for them when she was 14 but hid her feelings and adored them as they adored her. When her parents passed, they'd vow to have just 1 night with her and let her live her life. Things take unexpected turns and they all must come together to figure things out and fix things her father set in motion.
ARC review :) This story follows Andee and her dads three best friends in this age gap reverse harem. Andee has had a crush on them since she was young and after her parents die, they have one night together before sending her away but they don’t know she left with a secret. If you’re looking for a fun, spicy rh then you’ll like this book!
Do you ever wonder what it would be like to be with your vision of the constellations? Andee feels that way about Leo, Aries and Orion. But we don't always get what we want, sometimes time isn't right. If you like Old Mafia, age gap, reverse harem, dark, spicy romance, this is the story for you! Gwendolyn never disappoints with the spice and the story line!!!
If you're looking for Spicy, forbidden romance, this is the book for you. The relationship between Andee and Orion, Aries, and Leo is super hot and spicy. It was an emotional rollercoaster with fun banter and a great plot.
If you like spicy mafia romance, this looks for you. Great character building, great storyline and as always, the perfect amount of spice. I loved the little intentional characters in the book that Andee was reading… Lol. IYKYK.
Thank you for the ARC copy ❤️ If you like a quick read with age gap/forbidden romance/smutt then this is for you. I enjoyed this as a nice short story with lots of spicey scenes 🌶 this is my second review for Gwendolyn and I look forward to doing more 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
