Good storyline. Enjoyed the banter. I’ve given it 4 stars for that. If anyone comes to reading this book hoping for some form of s&x they’ll be vastly disappointed. The build ups were good you thought wow smexy times will be explosive. No, unfortunately, a bit of groping on the outside of clothes. Completions guessed at because all you got was “Afterwards ….” No touching inside clothes, no hand jobs, mouths, nothing. I stayed the course expecting actual s&x. Unfortunately I’m not a “clean” type of reader. I don’t think you get much of a love story without s&x. I’m in it for the sensual touches, descriptive lovemaking, baring their souls in the throes of passion. This was my first book by this author and almost my last. I thought I’d try one more book. I’d learnt my lesson and skimmed to the s&xy times. After about 4 encounters I was happy the s&x was progressing in stages, you ge5 my drift. I then read the book. Review to follow on that one. What’s really confused me is the difference in the 2 books. One clean one, one spicy and descriptive. Why write like that. Both were adult relationships. I think authors need to say how spicy or not their books are. Had I known there was zero s&x I wouldn’t have read it. I’ve wasted my precious reading time. I wished I’d picked up Under Pressure first.
