Super helpful in our crash course in foster parenting two toddlers! Offered positive solutions which fit well with foster care goals of building attachment.
I feel extremely sentimental about this series of books. It’s been with me since my son joined our family and made parenting less scary by giving us some guidelines, particularly in the beginning. I didn’t rely on this part as strongly as on the one about the first year, but it has some great tips. Most importantly, it’s non-judgemental and gentle. Now where’s a book about parenting 3+? 😉🫣
