The War Drags On - Great Cliffhanger
Brian Thompson does it again in his continued alternative history of WW2 in Europe.
Plausible and thought provoking. What could have been continues with characters from the last book and new ones as well.
Dip into the key decision makers thought process in Washington, London, Berlin and Moscow as Europe continues to burn.

Good but Sloopy
The author directly contradicts himself way too many times. A fact stated in one chapter is directly contradicted in another. The story is very good. The editing is very poor.

One of the best alternate histories I have read.
An amazingly well researched and developed plot. For this series of the alternate history. Thought provoking and exciting, but most importantly believable.

Good premise but the continuity stinks
I’m enjoying the premise, but the continuity can be really bad. In one chapter, Stalin is told that there is an army between the Germans and Moscow. A few chapters later, he’s told there’s nothing between the Germans and Moscow.

Good concept poor editing
I couldn’t say that I wouldn’t read another book in this series….. but continuity errors and repetitions make it read like the novel was written either in chunks or put together by a rouge AI editor program with a grudge against WW2 tales….

Nice read for history buffs
Sells the alternatives well with enough facts to be real. Could’ve easily worked this way. Well worth the read along with companion books.
