Here is a story so gently yet powerfully presented and leaves the reader with the satisfaction of a richly fulfilling experience. Gavin, a strong and steadfast soldier and Leah, a quiet and dutiful daughter joined together by gift of land and pride. Their story is impactful.

Fantastic Experience
This was immersive and real and tender. This felt like not just a story but an experience. Exciting, funny, deep and meaningful. A picture of real love - the kind that doesn’t look for its own interests. WELL DONE.

This is a sweet little historical romance. I needed a break from reading my usual emotionally crushing novels! ;)
If you enjoy medieval Scotland and tales of Lairds, Duchesses and foundlings along with wholesome romance, this is the book for you! I especially loved that the Duchess was kind and loving. Seems non-stereotypical.
