The Queen of Cliffies Strikes Again - In the Best Way!

K.G. has always been in my top 3 fave author list but the further I go into the Chaos Universe, the harder it is to remember other authors exist!

Like every other K.G. book, Savage Devotion will take you on an emotional roller coaster, but in the best way, because we start getting answers to questions we didn’t even think to wonder about, let alone ask! The dots start connecting but we don’t get all the answers yet so if cliffhangers aren’t your thing, I’d suggest waiting for the release of the next book!

Such a good book! It took me some time to read it given some life events that were happening, but it was a very good book and I did hate that it was a cliffhanger, but I did enjoy reading it overall!

I feel like this review is gonna be hard to do while trying to avoid spoilers lol There were a few things I enjoyed but a lot more that I didn't like in this book. All the reverse harem, mafia, dark romance, plot twists, crazy family trees, info dumps, and spice are there though, including the gut-wrenching cliffhanger.

I'll start with the things I did enjoy which may be vague because again, I'm trying to avoid spoilers. I loved Cole throughout this book and seeing him finally be happy and get everything he's ever wanted. I absolutely loved Enzo!! Feels like we're finally getting our secret keeper back. He really opened up in this one. We also got Rosalie meeting someone that I think we've all been waiting on the edge of our seats for. Can't tell you how much I enjoyed seeing the kings and their boys. It was nice to see them all interacting. The new info we got throughout this, right down to the last chapter, was crazy, and some of it was actually jaw-dropping. I loved seeing Evan and the horsemen working through things and bonding more. Evan seemed like he was getting back to normal finally and not being such a jerk. The introduction of some new characters has me intrigued and excited for their book(s).

The things I didn't like: I feel like almost all of the characters have done 180s with their actions and/or personalities. Doing things that they swore they wouldn't and took drastic measures to avoid. Giving certain people stipulations but then saying they never thought they could actually do it and planned for that outcome. Anson never stops being a petty toddler and constantly has to keep taking jabs at the horsemen. Between him and Ryder doing that nonstop, it's exhausting and irritating and has me rolling my eyes far too much. The fan service catering to a select few readers has gotten nauseating. From nicknames to scenes to pregnancies to even going as far as naming characters after them, it's ridiculous. Also a bit tired of the subtle scolding of readers for not liking this or that or to trust the process etc. Dante's god complex has gotten out of hand. I hope Rosalie puts him in his place with the next book because right now she's just letting him walk all over her and control her life and who she gets to be with. Ethan was way too wishy-washy. Had me feeling like I was picking petals off a flower and going, "He loves her. He loves her not."

The cliffhanger will leave you shocked and desperate for the next book. I'm ready to see how their story ends and move to the next gen books!

She’s not called the queen of cliffies for nothing. Just when I think I know where the story is going to take me, you pull out the rug from under my feet!! Watching these characters from BFH to Mayfair, and now Horseman of Ruin: they’ve had me in a chokehold. Seeing them grow as adults, navigate the dynamics of their empires, and step into parenthood has been a wild ride.

The banter and dialogue between characters had me laughing and wanting to cry at every turn. I won’t be putting more details as they would be huge spoilers, however, this is my favorite version of Rosalie yet.

You’ll love them, you’ll hate them, you’ll question motives, secrets will be kept, some will be unveiled, and tensions are at an all time high.

The ending had me in tears. Everytime I think to myself you can’t make it hurt worse than it already has, you prove us wrong!!! Diabolical. This has me questioning EVERYTHING. There are featured cameos of characters from Kings of Bolton, Chapel Crest, Separate Sins, and unreleased series.

There were so many moments throughout the book that I’m obsessed over. I could never pick a favorite, however, in Chapter 56, the way KG wrote this scene, I have no words. Perfection. If by the end of this book readers still see Cole as a villain, reference this chapter and remind yourself how wrong you are.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I devoured this book and stayed up all night to finish this.

KG you’ve done it yet again. The web you weave that makes the chaos universe so special is unlike any others I’ve read before. The day these characters stories come to an end, will DESTROY me.

Please always check the trigger warnings for these books, hers are not for the faint heart. The Sins of our Fathers sure do trickle down.. don’t they?

Forever recommending her universe, but please note it’s best to follow the reading order. You will need to read Black Falls High, Mayfair University, and Books 1&2 in Horseman of Ruin in order to understand. There are levels to this shit and KG is out here playing chess while we were watching for checkers.

Pay attention, you look away for one second and everything can fall apart.

Holy cow, this book was flipping brilliant. Queen, you are a genius, I tell you. No books have ever, ever affected or owned me the way yours do. And that ending? Straight up devious, but again, so freaking genius!

Savage Devotion is an emotionally charged, in-depth read that continues the story of the Horsemen and Rosalie. You are taken on a wild ride with twists and turns, drama, action, secrets, revelations, acceptance, new beginnings and spice that will make you darn near self-combust. My emotions were in a whirlwind through this book. One minute I was laughing, then I was crying, raging, swooning, having my flabbers gasted by shocking moments and needing a cold shower coz, girl, no one does spice like you! I'm seriously loving the relationship between Cole and Anson and Cole and Ryder and the subsequent banter between them. Absolute chef's kiss. My heart just aches for Enzo, and when a little something was revealed regarding Ethan, I wanted to hug him but also avenge him at the same time. I'm also thrilled with the way things turned out for Ryder. And, again, that cliffhanger was brutal, but I absolutely trust the process.

You give us reads that are emotional, poignant, esoteric masterpieces that are truly a cut above anything else. Your ChaosVerse and unrelated books are ones I revisit over and over and still can't get enough. I'm not in the least ashamed to admit I'm addicted to your words. If you write it, I will read it.

In any case, I'm so hanging for book four. I can not wait for what you have in store for us next. I know it's gonna be one heck of a rollercoaster ride, and I'm so very here for it! This is a definite must read, and I'd give a hundred stars if I could!

If you have not started the Chaos Universe series, you are seriously missing out. I admit that I have read all of the books involving Rosalie and the Horsemen (Fox, Cole, Ethan, and Enzo) and I have not read one single book that I have not absolutely loved. K. G. is seriously one of my favorite authors and Savage Devotion is just one example of why. Sooo much drama, suspense, twists, turns, and all the most panty melting scenes. I could not put down Savage Devotion from the beginning to the spectacular cliffhanger! As fans of K.G. will tell you she is the absolute Queen of Cliffhangers and all of her books are must reads!! I seriously can’t wait for Sweet Surrender. If you have been keeping up with the Chaos Universe, then you know that the Rosalie and the Horsemen have come a long way from Black Fall High series. My first book I read from K.G. was In Ruins (first book in the Black Fall High series) and I could never have predicted Rosalie and the Horsemen’s journey that they have taken to reach Savage Devotion. I will be very sad when the last book is read. I have recently started collecting the audiobooks and love them as much as I have the ebooks. I absolutely recommend the Chaos Universe series and all of the associated books and K.G. Reuss as an author.

True masterpiece.....another one!

This book is everything.....no, this series is everything. KG is an amazing author who makes you feel everything. What these characters go through, the readers feel it all. Rosalie is a fighter, a queen, and this book showed us that. The guys all get to see her and everything she is capable of doing; they finally see what she was trying to show them all those years ago! The war is coming....I can't wait for the next book. I can't wait to see how the world gets torn apart for family and love. Yes, it ends with you gripping the book wanting to k ow what happens, but honestly, that is what should happen when you read true works of art. I will gladly wait for the next one because what KG produces is outstanding works of art that truly make you feel everything. The world isn't roses, life is not easy and happy.....there is pain, loss, lies, and violence.....but there can be happiness, love and overall good....you just may have to go through h*** to get there.

KG. YOU CANNOT END A BOOK LIKE THAT. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY FINALLY STARTED TO FIGURE ALL THEIR CRAP OUT. OMMMMMMGGGGGG.

This book.. dare I say it's the best book in the adult series? And one of the best with the Horsemen in general? You get to see Rosie finally prove to them all that she's not the same heartbroken woman they left behind -- oh no. She has edge. She has teeth. She has anger and regret just like the rest of them. This world and all her loss has hardened her, and she's no longer afraid of that version of herself. You see her connect with everyone, and they all finally have the hard conversations, and even though it's definitely painful it needed to happen. Especially the conversations between E and a certain someone -- when I tell you I was BAWLING.

The end though? I literally screamed. I refuse to believe that's the end for them, after EVERYTHING. Nope. I am trusting the process, but I also need book four right now!

Y'all need to read this series! It is so freaking good!!

Spoilers ahead because wow. I am floored and devasted. Once again and why am I surprised at this point but wow. This book was amazing. I had so much distate and disdain for Enzo but KG made me love him again with this book and has me praying and keeping the faith because this ending was not for the weak hearted or ones who cannot put their faith in KG. Twists and turns galore!! Here I was thinking alll pink fluffies and happy endings lol...not with this cliffhanger!!! But the entire book was amazing, as always you can hands down depend on some of the best spice in books, plot twists, story crossovers, and absolute carnage in one of these books and yet I am hands down hooked like a fish!!!! I love Cole no matter what and he does not disappoint. And I know know Jades snake self is behind all of the video leaks and tabloids I just know it!! But the way I am feral for the next one is insane!! Another amazing read!!

queen of cliffies

what did I read............ why give a character a way out to live with the love of his life turn his back on his brothers make a new, life with ass-hat anson (yuk) and Klaus who I don't understand why u want to date someone who is the same age as your son. Ethan my fave character he has gone through so much I hope he gets some sort of happy ending. the ending omg the author knows how to keep you on edge. I have to keep reading because I'm invested on how she going to end this series. If you haven't read k.g's world would i recommend yes/no they long ass series the author likes to make her characters suffer and says TRUST the process. it's hard when she introduces more love interests like Klaus Ryder and anson who I ,..... then you think she going to give the horseman the love of their life back but then you get that ending. If you like reading cross over world's that go on forever then this is the world for u just read your Trigger warnings

Savage Devotion delivered! Each book in the Horsemen of Ruins series just seems to be getting better and better. We pick up right where our Broken Promises cliffy left us. Enzo, Cole and Ethan are locked in the new UG and Rosie's little brother Dante isn't looking to release them anytime soon.

Evan has to come clean to Cole. Painful heart to hearts will be had. Secrets revealed. Rosalie's stalker is back stirring up more trouble for her. Ryder will have your heart dropping into your stomach. Enzo thinks he's sneaky. Cole is desperate to prove he deserves his family and love. E needs to get out of his own way. There's alot of secrets and hurts being addressed in this books go around. The cliffhanger she's dropped on us has left me obsessed with trying to figure out what's deception and what's really happening. Gah! I can't wait for Sweet Surrender! It's going to be so freaking good!

Utter perfection. To say this book owned me, would be an understatement. I fell in love with Rosalie and her horsemen in Black Falls High. Watched them be town apart at Mayfair. Sobbed my eyes out over losing Fox, while gaining Anson Klaus and Evan. Rosalie is the constant. The embodiment of a strong female character. My favorite in this world!
The banter, humor and wit in this book are endless. The steam and surprises will leave you breathless. Wanting more. Wanting answers. The puzzle pieces are slowly clicking together in this mad world the author has created, and the ducks are creating their rows. Trusting the process, in this world, is a battle and the lines are being drawn. I hope you're ready. Now, now I'm just shook.
Brilliant. 5 stars. End of.

So Freakin GOOD!!

Just finished “Savage Devotion” the third book in the “Horsemen of Ruin Series” by K.G. Reuss and I must say this might be my favorite book in the whole Chaos Universe! It deserves more than five stars. The Horsemen are all grown up and they don’t disappoint. Of course, K.G. is the queen of cliffhangers and this one is a doozy. It won’t be too long and we will get the final book in this series and I am personally so excited for it!!

Though I highly suggest reading the universe in order. If you decide you only want to read the Horsemen, it must be read in the following order.

Black Falls High Series
Mayfair University Series
Separate Sins
Horsemen of Ruin Series

I love these books so much. From the fast paced action and drama, to the comedy (mostly from my beloved Cole Scott) to the spiciest spice, I've loved every book in the Horsemen's series. It's crazy to have read their story from high school to parenthood and still be completely enraptured by their story especially since I typically get tired of a harem by book three. I really like how some of the dynamics are playing out, particularly between Cole and Anson. I'm glad they are finding their footing with each other without becoming friends right away. I'm surprised to be okay with Ryder joining the group and even more surprised to be feeling forgiveness for Enzo.
I just can't get enough of this. It's like book crack. Keep em coming, Cliffhanger Queen!

I'm forever going to be obsessed as Rosalie's story continues on. I love the fact that we have followed her journey with her horsemen since they were in high school. So this came at such a perfect time just shortly after Broken Promises. I must say, THANK YOU FOR THE ARC!

I knew I couldn't wait to see what would happen next and as usual, K.G. didn't disappoint. Despite it ending on a cliffhanger, I love seeing the growth of one of my favourite men- Cole.

I ate this book up in less than a day, I could not put it down. I love knowing that Rosalie and Cole are working hard on fixing their relationship!

Intense and exciting

Clear out some time because once you start reading, it’s going to be hard to stop!
So many scenes I was looking forward to and the story is really moving. Plus the heat is on!

Ethan: I am not the scared boy you once knew. I am a man who wants to reintroduce myself to you.

Rosalie: I was never weak. I was kind. There is a difference.

Klaus: You are the first person who ever made me understand what home felt like.

Anson: Loving you isn’t simply part of my life, it is my life.

Enzo: I lost a lot too, And I keep on losing.

And yes, the cliffhanger will have you crying…

I dont know how this woman does it, These books just keep getting better and better! This book is filled with so much emotion, one minute im so angry, the next im sobbing. I have kicked my feet squealing and swooning at Rosalie and her guys. I would really like it if some of these men would get their crap together though, before I diiiiiiiiie of anger and heartbreak. Naturally it would be one of KGs books if it didnt end on a GIGANTIC cliffy, for now im just over here crying for more. Love this series, love her whole universe she has created. If you havent read any if her books you need to immediately and start from the very beginning. I cant recommend this author enough!

WHAT A CLIFFHANGER!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!

Savage Devotion is book 3 in the Horsemen of Ruin series. This is a dark why choose romance.

This Chaosverse is gonna give me a heart attack I swear 😂 but I wouldn't want it any other way!!!

The way KG creates magic and makes sure you feel every single emotion along with these characters......
I felt like I was hit by a bus by the end of this one and I loved it. Rosie and the guys still have my heart, Cole is still my favorite KG man, and that ending has me crying into my pillow and on the edge of my seat for the next book.

I am so obsessed with this world and want to stay in it forever!

Every time I think that KG couldn't possibly get any better - she does! 🙌🏻

I'm absolutely obsessed with the entire Chaosverse, but I've got a reeeal soft spot for the adult Horsemen, Rosie, and her other men. 🥹 They are going THROUGH it on so many levels, while also trying to figure things out romantically. Enzo the secret keeper is back! 😍 And Ryderrrr. Ugh, I love him.

The way their story blends with the Chapel Crest folks and also the Kings is just mind-blowing. There's so much to keep track of, and so many crumbs to try to follow... it's amazing. Plussss, the cliffhanger again! I think I have a theory & can't wait to see if I'm right. 👀

Savage Devotion was a 5⭐️ for me. The truths from the revealed revelation about a certain someone's identity to revealing traumatic events that happened to Fox and Ethan in the underground had me more shocked than what we thought we already knew. Evan, Klaus and Anson's comeback was shocking and what Enzo did for it to happen was unreal! Things are slowly coming along for Rosie and her guys. But that cliffy!! I'm going to trust the process because K.G. never let's us down and I can't wait for the next book.

Savage Devotion

Savage Devotion picks up right where our Broken Promises cliffhanger left off, with our hearts still shattered at the Under Ground. This angsty book captivated me from the very first page and held my attention all the way until the jaw dropping end.

Rosie and the Horsemen have been on an incredible journey throughout the Chaos Universe, and Savage Devotion delivered everything I hoped for to keep this thrilling ride to their HEA going strong. I can’t wait to get my hands on book 4!

Savage Devotion is the third book in the Horseman of Ruin series in the Chaos Universe. It picks up right where the second book, Broken Promises, left off so buckle up and get ready for an emotional rollercoaster that will have you laughing, crying and so angry you’re yelling at the characters and wanting to throw your book. This book is full of secrets, truths, heartache, acceptance, danger, confessions and lots of spice! Just watch out for that cliffhanger as it will hit you right in the feels!! Can’t wait to see what’s to come in the final book for the Horseman of Ruin.

What a cliffhanger

KG you did it again. I have no words how this story has been unfolding and I’m legit speechless at the cliff hanger you just left. Right when I think I know and start seeing the pieces falling into place and you leave us with more pieces of information that start making sense and the character growth alone.. The depth all these characters have and their personalities.. just what an absolute journey I feel like I’ve been on. Right along with Rosalie what a damn roller coaster I cannot wait to see how this next book goes

This book will have you all in the feels as we learn some new truths and the story develops further with these characters in the chaos universe! There are some great crossovers with the other books within this incredible universe! Will say ends on a cliffhanger as we all know Ruess is the queen of them! I’m obsessed with this series. This is an emotional roller coaster of getting her horsemen and bringing her family together. There are many screams hidden in this book and boy i can’t wait for them to come alive. This is masterpiece that is crazy wild and will keep you on edge as if you have read K.G. Reuss books you just know their is going to be a cliffhanger and I didn’t want to edge on a cliff edge. I need book 4 now.

KG killed it again!

I have enjoyed every book released in the Chaos universe but the Horseman and Rosalie’s story is the one that has kept me up reading all night and rereading while I wait for the next release to drop. A lot happens in this book especially near the end that further ties in the some of the other Chaos universe characters and some new ones make a debut. The cliffhanger….. lord. Can’t wait Sweet Surrender!
