This book was an absolute rollercoaster from start to finish! I was completely hooked and on the edge of my seat through every twist, betrayal, and dangerous turn. This dark mafia romance delivers the perfect mix of intense suspense, chaos, passion, and high-stakes emotions that keeps you turning the pages. The Caravelli Family’s loyalty, power, and unwavering devotion were phenomenal and added such depth to the story. Detective Tamsin Rowe knows she should stay far away from the Caravelli Family, but one dangerous exchange of secrets quickly turns into something far more complicated. Marcello Caravelli is the kind of man who gets under your skin and makes walking away impossible. As enemies rise, the FBI closes in, and the past comes back to haunt them, Tamsin is pulled deeper into a world where trust is dangerous and every choice has consequences. This book straight grabbed me and wouldn't let go! I read it in one sitting and just couldn't put it down. The pacing was perfection!
This is book 2 in the series and definitely delivered! We are immediately pulled right back into danger, and the stakes are a lot higher and feel a lot more personal in this one. It was intense and full of action and chaos.
This one follows Tamsin and Marcello, and I really liked their dynamic. We have a sassy, strong, detective that brings strength and strategy into this family unexpectedly. She is wavering on what is right and wrong with what she is doing. Her connection to Marcello? He was instantly connected to her, and I loved how she didn't take his crap nor give into him immediately, but the tension and chemistry was definitely there immediately. I loved their relationship and how it built.
I also loved how we still got all of the Caravelli family in this one too. The family loyalty in this one is so good!
If you're looking for dark, intense, full of chaos and suspense, has great spice, great family dynamics and loyalty and will straight suck you in and not let go, this is it! Huge thanks to author and Golden Light Publishing for the early copy to read!

This was great first off we're back in the mix with the Caravelli Family and them trying to pull themselves out of dark side of a legacy they were left with. I absolutely loved Marcello and Tamsin they banter and push and pull of their relationship, especthe internal conflicts Tamsin has, she's on one side of the law and this man is way over on the other side. Then you throw in even more deception and a hot potato game of who's next on the Kidnapping block, and your in for one heck of a ride. Of course theres a book 3 and of course Ill be here front and center.

One thing this author knows how to write is tension and drama. I think I like Tamsin and Marcello more than Enzo and Caterina. They seemed to have way more chemistry and tension. I was screaming at about the halfway mark for her to admit how she felt. Plus the whole plot line with the bad guy was insane. And still has so much more to unravel. I like how Marcello and Tamsins story ended but still there is much more story to be told

One of my favourite aspects of this book was the chemistry between the main characters. The suspense throughout the story was another standout. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, new revelations and twists kept raising the stakes. This book picks up just before the end of book one bringing you right back into the chaos surrounding the Caravelli family. If you haven't recovered from book one yet, don't worry, this one wastes no time throwing you back into the action.
The things Tamsin endures throughout this story are absolutely insane. Time after time, she's pushed to her limits, yet she refuses to let those experiences define her. Her resilience and determination made her such a fierce female lead, and watching her come out stronger after everything she faced was one of my favorite parts of the book.
Marcello was exactly what Tamsin needed, even when she didn't realize it herself. He never gave up on her or let his feelings waver. Instead of forcing his way into her healing, he respected what she needed while continuing to show her exactly how he felt. Their relationship felt earned because he understood that love sometimes means patience.
While there is romance and a little spice sprinkled throughout, this book is driven by action, strategy, and calculated moves. Every chapter seemed to reveal another layer of the story, peeling back the onion one piece at a time until the bigger picture finally came into focus. I loved how every revelation answered one question while creating another, keeping me completely invested in everything happening around the Caravelli family. This is book two in the caravelli mafia romance series. This story follows tamsin and marcello who you see as side but main characters of book one. There are some dark themes in this book so be warned before continuing. The banter between tamsin and marcello would have me laughing so hard in some scenes. I loved getting to see marcello and tamsins pov and what was going on more with their character and what was going on in their heads. Some scenes had me screaming and sitting at the edge of my seat waiting to see what’ll happen next. The spice between the two I was absolutely living for and had be happy kicking my feet. Marcello would absolutely burn the city even the world down for tamsin. And tamsin is such a strong tough woman. We even got to see alittle more of Bianca and I can’t wait for her story in book three! I’m happy that b wills started this story from a part of book one that we’ve already read so it was confusing and picking up at a weird spot. It helped flow into the story and made much more sense. The absolute raw emotion she puts into her characters will astonish me everytime! Plus you’re always second guessing and at the edge of your seat. This story is packed with non stop action, plot twists and some spice! She absolutely got me on the epilogue part two!! I have my guesses so let’s hope I’m right, I can’t wait to read book three!

It was about legacy, truth, survival, and the cost of loving people in a world built on power.
Tamsin was one of my favorite parts of this story. She brings strength, strategy, and survival instincts into a family that is used to handling problems with brute force. I loved how she challenged the Caravellis to think differently instead of just reacting. Her connection with Marcello felt intense, complicated, and built through trauma, trust, and devotion.
Marcello and Tamsin gave me that dangerous, emotional pull I love in dark romance. Their bond felt like the one thing the villain could not fully control, and that made their relationship even more powerful.

This book, and this series, has me completely feral for these men. I went on a rollercoaster of a journey with this story and I loved every single second of it. I was locked in from the very beginning and stayed invested in the story until the last word. This story gave us twists and turns, danger, betrayal, heat, tension, and everything in between. I devoured it all wholeheartedly. Marcello and Tamsin were perfection. Complete opposites that just seemed to work together. They were the perfect complement to each other. Tamsin is such a strong character and so full of sass. Marcello is fiercely loyal and deeply devoted. The connection these two have is so intense and their chemistry is absolutely insane. Watching things build between them was endearing and intriguing. Throughout the story there was passion and tension and danger. And in the end there’s vulnerability and genuine care too. I was on pins and needles waiting to see what would happen. And I was not disappointed by the way the book ended. I will say I am absolutely chomping at the bit to see where this world goes next.

Where can I get my own Caravelli 😭😭😭 I am in love with these morally grey hunks. In true B. Wills fashion, we get yet another nail biting, can't put the book down, absolute MASTERPIECE. This is book 2 of the House of Caravelli series. The first one was absolute perfection and I am so happy I didn't have to wait too long for the 2nd book. Our FMC, Tasmin is so resilient and such a badass, I love her so much! Marcello is the morally grey hunk that will absolutely break our hearts but we will not walk away from. The spice level in this book isn't extremely high, I'd say a 3/5 or maybe that's just me desensitized to it all at this point 🤣 also, I wanna point out, B. Wills is diabolical for giving us that ending though, definitely need to send her a strong worded letter because I think she definitely enjoys messing with our emotions. She kept my emotions running high, right up until the very last sentence, absolutely evil I tell you.

AHHHH I was waiting so long for book 2 ( literally only months but I swear it was years) In this book we get Marcello and Tamsin's story. We've got kidnappings, being held prisoner, revenge, betrayal and most of all love. You don't need to read book 1 but it helps in knowing where the story stands and the background for this book. Tamsin is a NYC cop who is helping Marcello Caravelli and family bring down a trafficking ring the Marcello's father was a part of. She gets too close to the truth and is kidnapped from her home. Marcello and his sister Bianca start the search since Enzo is buried under trying to save the Caravelli name. The twists and turns throughout this story keep you on your toes. You get 2 count them 2 Epilogues with this story. Just enough to keep you salivating for book 3!! B is amazing at giving you a story but leaving you wanting more like NOW..

Tamsin has been taken by enemies of the Caravelli family as a statement. They want the rings back. What the enemy doesn't understand, however, is what lengths Marcello and the rest of the Caravelli clan will go for family.
Once again, utterly impressed/obsessed. The life and love, a beautiful slow burn, between Marcello and Tamsin made me so happy. I loved watching both of them grow as characters as well as the story progressed and both came to various realizations both apart and together. The plot is absolutely rich in this second book - i didnt want to put it down and it absolutely would have taken less than a day to inhale this book had I had the day to do so. I can NOT wait for Bianca's book!!

I finally got the second book in this series and yet again not disappointed at all!!!

Tamsin and Marcelo, are the ones no one wanted to pull through! The amount of drama these two face and the battles that go head to head with things they face! And when she knows how and what she wants to do, you better buckle up and lock in!

Soooo! Let me tell y'all this book Cruel devotion.. is true to my heart for a dark Mafia romance.. I fell in love with sinful oath and could NOT wait for this book... Also I watched as B Wills put this love story together doing vine checks for her.. and let me tell you tasmin and Marcello mmm... What a danger couple.. she threw in some spicy spice which was nice ...and had the family in there on their mission... All I am saying is when is book three coming out... I need me some more even if it is someone else's turn for a story❤️

Its rare that the 2nd book in a series is as good as the 1st but B wills has pulled off the impossible and made book 2 in this series as captivating as her 1st.
Book 2 focuses on Detective Tamsin and the dons brother Marcello.
There's twists and turns and shocks a plenty. There were parts from book 1 I recognised but from Tamsin's perspective which I loved.
I love everything about the Caravelli family and I'm chomping at the bit for book 3.

She bangs one out again!! This one was a rollercoaster from start to finish and I didn’t know whether to love or hate these characters. Everything was constantly shifting to make you doubt how it would end but boy was this a banger. I devour this series!! Who doesn’t love a good mafia romance!! You will love this book and it keeps you guessing till the end and that says something because I can usually figure out a plot within the first half but not with this one!!

The beginning of this story is deceptive. It lulls the reader into a false sense of security. Every time the reader thinks the Caravelli’s have come out on top, the reader is blindsided by something. The ending has my mind spinning with who the next villain is and how the Caravelli family will survive.

Absolutely love this series. Loved getting Tamsin and Marcello’s story. Tamsin is a formidable character, she knows herself and handles more than most would. Marcello is dark and broody, but he knows what he wants and is determined 😍. The found family and what the overcome had me on the edge of my seat.

When I started this book, I thought I had an idea of where it was going but was pleasantly surprised. I'm not usually super into mafia storylines, but was immersed into the world of Tamsin. It is not by any means your typical mafia-style book. I felt like her traits mirrored a lot of mine, which made me even more curious to keep reading. Excellent read, and I hope to see more soon!

It is so hard to find a second book to a series that is as captivating as the first book, but WOW B. Wills absolutely smashed it with Cruel Devotion! Its has you grabbing at the pages to see what happens next, leaves you itching for more, and makes you frustrated there isnt the next book already!

The action and plot twists kept me going. I had to know what came next. As for the ending….maam what the heck?! I have my guesses and knowing B Wills…..I’ll be wrong. Can’t wait for book 3.

This book 2 in the series. It had me from the start. I was gripped and bought in from the start.
I loved the dynamics between Tamsin and Marcello. The strong detective, that starts to waver on what is right and wrong. The Caravelli family is strong and their family loyalty is amazing to be a part of it. Great book and I cannot wait for the next one.

I absolutely loved this book! I love the Caravelli story and the absolute devotion to those they love, and to those they despise! This story had my on my toes constantly wondering what Tamsin was going to do next. And also screaming at her to just let Marcello love her!!! You won't be disappointed.

Wow! I really thought the first book was AMAZING but this one WOW! This was such a roller coaster! I absolutely love Tamsin! She was hilarious in the first book and kept that energy! I was here for it all! Marcello was just as witty to meet her energy and serious when he needed to be!
