let me start by saying this world and these characters mean so much to me truly. not only because they were created by such a dear friend but the found family and unconditional love each of these characters have for one another UGH THE DREAM!!!
now, Mirage developed sooo much in this book, she has been learning so much about herself and who she TRULY is. She is not perfect but that’s what i love about her.
In this book we get another POV of Dianna and I absolutely loveeee her!!! My frost queen🙂↕️ she has made some ROUGH decisions and is willing to sacrifice literally everything for those she loves. I love her so much.
There are new characters. New lands. Higher stakes. and even bigger twists. Nero you outdid yourself on this one, i loved it so much!

Wow, I did not want this book to end! I love a good quest, and this story was so exciting and full of surprises. The writing was lush and lyrical, and I loved the foreshadowing woven throughout the poetic prophecy.
The god lore, magical artifacts, and magic system were incredibly unique, and I especially loved the fresh take on fated mates and friendship bonds. The romance was sweet, tender, and often funny. Grief is a major theme throughout the story, and the characters’ mental health struggles felt authentic.
Perfect for fans of Spark of the Everflame and the Lady of Darkness series who enjoy political intrigue, slow-burn romance, fierce heroines, prophecy, and magic. I’m truly in awe of this author’s imagination.

I truly LOVED the first book and I needed answers immediately!!
Again the second is just as incredible 😭 the world building that this book has created is INSANE! So many significant pieces in this series so far that I just can’t get over. Everything about this book is so beautiful!

I got to read this book as beta reader and it was SOOO GOOD! I think I enjoyed this one more than the first! I really enjoyed the first half but the second half had me hooked. In the last 50 pages of Nero’s books i genuinely cannot put the book down. I loved it!
