Gemi Draglen has been searching for the woman that is destined to become his Wella for hundreds of years. WHY SOLEASE? JUST WHY? Why every time I tell you I love this brother you have to write a much better story for another brother? I personally think this is your hottest book yet. I had idea's on how this one would play out but I was always caught off guard. Gemi's story was more suspenseful then the previous brothers. I just couldn't put it down.
Shalisi - I liked her. She is a witch who was born to be the one element that kept bad and good witches at bay. Falling in love with a dragon was not part of the plan. She has tried to push him away but he would never budge. As their feeling progressed their fears became reality.
Gemi - I licked him so he is mine. I loved how determined he was to have her. Loved how he wanted to convince her of their love for one another with out scaring her. He knew what would happen but didn't care. He is a different kind of dominate then his brothers and I liked that.
If you have read Solease's previous works on the Draglem Brothers Series you will definitely love Gemi. I do have to give this one a 4 star because it left some issues out such as why she wasn't allowed to group with her parents. Was Gemi lying to her about the reason? Did she get to speak t her parents? What did Momma Jewel have to say for herself and the Coven once Shalisi and Gemi approached her? And of course the wedding.

I'll start off by saying I've read all The Draglen Brothers and have loved each one for different reasons. The writing just gets better and better. Gemi has to deal with so much and she too has to deal with problems. These two were not supposed to associate let alone love each other.
In my opinion this is the best one yet more angst and drama. Also Gemi is sexy and romantic.

Good Storyline . .
Overall, I really enjoyed this story. I liked the personalities of both main characters who had to suffer through a few worrying trials/ experiences before they could truly be together. I loved how the author once again included the whole Draglen clan and their Wellas in this book, it was like catching up with old friends.
However, I did feel that the story ended a little abruptly leaving me with some unanswered questions. Perhaps they’ll be followed up in the next book? Fingers crossed. 🥰 There were also a few editing issues that detracted from the story and made things a little confusing at times.
Despite these issues, I am still looking forward to reading more in the series and seeing which Draglen is next!

I enjoyed the storyline, but disliked very much the 3rd party version of events instead of the characters speaking of their feelings. It blends so much that at times you’re asking yourself whose talking?!? If you’re reading the series it’s a necessary good read. Hoping the next 2 are more like the first 3.

Loved it – by far the best Draglen story!
Without Gemi's single-minded determination to make Shalisi his Wella, there wouldn't have been a story. While in the beginning Shalisi was attracted to Gemi, it was little more than lust, and definitely not for the long term since a match between witches and dragons was against everything they both thought they believed in. Gemi, however was ready to throw the rule book out the window and defy family in the process to be with Shalisi.
I'm officially a Gemi-fan! No matter what the situation, good or bad, he never wavered from his mission to claim Shalisi. He had any number of women seeking his attention and favor, but he was only focused on Shalisi – admirable. There was no contrariness in Gemi, unlike the other brothers, especially Draken. He didn't think one thing and say another – he didn't say one thing and do another. He definitely made the story come alive for me!
I liked Shalisi. I felt she was a strong, intelligent female, and definitely could be a leader. But she seems to spend so much time at odds with herself - although this is not entirely her fault. Having been told her parents turned to dark magic and were forced to leave, Shalisi is raised by the coven and everything she knows comes from Mama Jewel – whom I disliked from the beginning. Shalisi was being groomed to fulfill this great destiny and become a powerful witch. But, I never felt any passion from her about her wiccan future, and quite honestly, I didn't feel her passion for being a witch at all. It all felt like obligation to me...and half-hearted, at best.
Trying to come to grips with her feelings for Gemi gives Shalisi the wakeup call she needs, but she still believes she can walk away from him...and save them both from the wrath of her coven and Gemi's family. Something she doesn't get to even try once the bottom falls out...and then it's witches versus dragons!
With the revelation Gemi gave Shalisi about her parents, and Mama Jewel's later actions, one would think the witches are “bad guys”. However, when the Queen shows up with her sons and that daughter of hers, it does make you wonder who you should be routing for. True, the dragons are on a rescue mission, but whoa...are they brutal. Also, their later treatment of Shalisi was definitely lacking, considering they knew how Gemi felt about her.
It was good to see Shalisi actually put her powers to use and help Gemi calm his dragon. Those two have a long road ahead of them, and I hope to hear more from them – they're definitely my favorite Draglen couple.
“Gemi” is a solid read, and the author's growth from book one (Draken) to this one is phenomenal. The ARC I read did have editing issues, but an updated copy has already been issued. Kudos to the author for that!
On a personal note – I would have loved to have more of the back story of Shalisi's parents; and of Gemi's devastation-causing dragon. But not having it doesn't make this read any less enjoyable!

I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review
After waiting rather impatiently for this book to come out so I could continue my love affair with the brothers I was absolutely beyond happiness that I could finally get to find out who and what Gemi was really about.
Once again Solease M. Barner has managed to enthrall us with another yet more complicated Draglen Brother.
Gemi is so much more, he has two sides to himself that we finally get to see and feel. This is a passionate roller coaster of a book and I went through just about every emotion known to man during my reading experience.
I felt sorry for Gemi at times but then I would almost cry for his Wella Shalisi she is so conflicted with what is right for her, her coven and her heart. She has been lied to for most of her life by those that she trusts (I’m not going to give too much away as this is not a spoiler), but in the end does love prevail or do the witches win?
You can feel Gemis pain as he tries to convince his wella of his love and its so frustrating as I wanted to reach into the book and shake Shalisi at times.
Queen Nala made me laugh in this book, she actually travels to earth to rescue her boy and although it’s a successful trip Gemi has a lot of healing to do (after keeping one side of you hidden for so long it is kind of hard to make that side sleep again). We get to see a softer yet oh so fierce side of the queen in this book and her reaction to Gemis dilemma totally shocked me.
Gemi is so different from his brothers I feel that although all the brothers love with all their heart Gemi feels things on a much deeper level (that is just my opinion though), he has truly found his match in Shalisi and I can only image how much fun these two will get up to.
This book is told in the third person so we get both sides to the story, both sides of the pain both sides of the passion and twice as much hotness, and let me tell you IT IS ONE HOT READ…
Please do buy this complete series you will honestly not regret it for a moment, the only thing I would recommend is taking a glass of water with you when you read these books as I can guarantee you will get a little warm.

Solease has dazzled us once again with her amazing skill, unique style and astounding imagination. The story is exciting, thrilling imaginative, original, well developed, riveting, action packed, romantic, arousing and sensual. The dialogue is smart, well written and flows well. The characters are fascinating, captivating, intriguing, engaging, endearing,sexy as sin and at times, down right hilarious. Solease expertly combines these elements to craft an exhilarating paranormal read full of magic, fantasy, adventure and romance. Gemi is a dragon an a member of the royal family. He has been searching for his Wella (mate) and has finally found her. Shalisi is a witch from New Orleans and has been raised to believe that dragons are her enemy. She is in the process of taking on a very important role and knows that a relationship with Gemi would risk everything. Gemi has kept himself under control for decades and that control is under attack.
Gemi has been told stories about how witches can take control of dragons and knows his family will not be pleased with a union between them. He is not willing to let that jeopardize his happiness. He cajoles her and works hard to build the desire between them. Shalisi has lost her parents due to them going to the dark side. She isolates herself from others and doesn't do romance or even dates. It is going to take a lot to make her take a risk that could result in their deaths.
This is my first time reading a book by this author. I just jumped right into the series. There is a little vocabulary section at the front that introduces you to some of the terminology Gemi uses. He reminds me of a Arab sheik. The language definitely reinforced that image. He is a royal and used to getting what he wants. He really doesn't think of the consequences. Shalisi hasn't been brought up in an entitled environment and is much more risk adverse. The designation of being the Passer is important to her as it will differentiate her from the other members and put her in a position of power for the first time. It was interesting to see these two very different characters try to find a balance. Gemi is very seductive and you can understand the attraction.

That is what Gemi finds himself dealing with…only to add to complication she’s supposed to be his enemy…and he knows his family won’t help him on his quest to prove himself and his love for his woman.
Meet Shalisi, a proud woman, a woman ready to prove herself to those around her and ready to move forward to the next step as a witch. Knowing what isn’t approve…what isn’t ok and what of course could lead to danger. She fights him at every chance; yet within is a passion and attraction to this man who is her enemy.
Gemi’s story is full of passion, fierce love, understanding, faith, and of course a message that be true to yourself-be true to how you feel-and family will be there in the end if you can walk without conviction.
That if you love someone, you will fight for them-fight for yourself and fight to be together regardless of the adversity you will face.
Now I’m not one to spoil the story so don’t expect any spoilers from me…but it must be said that whether you have read the previous books in The Draglen Brothers (Draken, Showken, Layern) or whether you’re picking up Gemi just because…it’s a book worth reading. You’ll laugh, you’ll maybe cry but as guaranteed by Solease M Barner’s writing - you’ll feel something and feel for the characters she writes about.

Can love really overcome age old enemies and prejudices? Can it bring together the good and the bad and tame the beast that everyone is leery of? In this one this author takes you in depth with another one of the brothers and his journey to claim his love. Gemi is been also fighting himself to keep one side of himself in check as he searches for his destined. Once he does find her he then has his work cut out for him because he must show her who he is and that this is real for a life time. Time is also running out because she has her own path planned out for her and Shalisi a very important role. Once you go with them on their journey as they come to know each other with feelings growing and exploding you too will get a taste of what love can do. Also there is family too that can give a hand or too with a opinion thrown in there. Quite the interesting thing here to read just what does happen when the forbidden does come together even when bad thinks it can stop the inevitable. Loved it also when they think they can come against one mamma that is determined that no one and she means no one gonna mess with her son. Love can also tame even the baddest beast, right? In the end the winners take all with this being one to read because love is the only thing that can overcome it all. Received a copy for a honest review.

The book was a truly a good read. It isn't the "typical" romance. It has the heat as well as mystery, and danger. A good supernatural book.

WHY SOLEASE? JUST WHY? Why every time I tell you I love this brother you have to write a much better story for another brother? I personally think this is your hottest book yet. I had idea's on how this one would play out but I was always caught off guard. Gemi's story was more suspenseful then the previous brothers. I just couldn't put it down.
Shalisi - I liked her. She is a witch who was born to be the one element that kept bad and good witches at bay. Falling in love with a dragon was not part of the plan. She has tried to push him away but he would never budge. As their feeling progressed their fears became reality.
Gemi - I licked him so he is mine. I loved how determined he was to have her. Loved how he wanted to convince her of their love for one another with out scaring her. He knew what would happen but didn't care. He is a different kind of dominate then his brothers and I liked that.
If you have read Solease's previous works on the Draglem Brothers Series you will definitely love Gemi. I do have to give this one a 4 star because it left some issues out such as why she wasn't allowed to group with her parents. Was Gemi lying to her about the reason? Did she get to speak t her parents? What did Momma Jewel have to say for herself and the Coven once Shalisi and Gemi approached her? And of course the wedding.

Dang it! This author is almost there. I mean, the story lines are great. Her visual imagination is on spot but her grammar and identifying with the characters are always a near miss. Example: Last book I just read "Gemi". I thought it would of been better than Showken or Layern. Nope. Let me tell you what threw me off. 1. Her female characters name for their lady parts. A tad juvenile 2. Changing names of Characters from one book to the next. Spoiler here: Showken and Marilyn's baby went from Showlyn to Showlen. Marilyn's friend Jazz's daughter went from Rachel to Angel. AND Reseda's friend went from Palmer to Paul. What? Am I missing something here? Totally bugged me. And Solease? It's the beautiful voice of Kenny Lattimore. Not Latimore. UGH! You almost had me swept in completely if it weren't for those careless mistakes. Why did you change Showlyn's name spelling and why did Palmer change to Paul??? Did the same author write each book of the series? And please please do not use "OMG" in your books. I get this is a modern day world, but some readers really want to refrain from seeing things like OMG, GTG, BRB, and BFF (just to name a few) in adult books.
Other than those things? Yes, Id like to visit Cortamagen. It feels like a beautiful place. Warton? Please don't let me down!

They will still have to convince Gemi's parents and his brothers and sister that they have to be together, even if it means leaving Cortamagen.
I have enjoyed this series from the first book. Each time I pick up one of these books it's hard to put down, and I don't want it to end. The characters are all strong, passionate people that love each other and don't let anything keep them apart. I love this series and look forward to the next book.

Amazing
What an amazing ride. Solease never disappoints. Just as all the other books in this series Gemis story takes you on a ride from beginning to end. It's truly amazing when you are reading you can see the world as the characters would see it, feel the emotions as they are your own and this book does all that. I have laughed cried taken Sharp gasps and could not put this book down from beginning to end. The stories in this series seamlessly blend together to create an on going story that always leaves you wanting to know what comes next. Such as Neverland when we were all children Cortamagen is a place that even as an adult I wish was a place I could see in person and through soleases writing I can picture it perfectly. The trials and tribulations of not just family, friends, and love, but the unknown obligations of royalty and shared connections by choice are something anyone can acclimate to and in these stories you will I guarantee it. If you are looking for a bit of magic in your life both sexy scary and sweet look no further than the Draglen Brothers series because it has all that and more.

I finally get to read the bad boy Gemi's story. I was told that I would fall in love with Gemi, but I still love Draken the most...LOL
Gemi has 2 personalities, the good and the bad. He has been fighting to keep his bad dragon down for 70 years and now that he has finally found his Wella, will he be able to hold him down, especially since everyone, even his family is dead set against him mating with a witch.... Witches and Dragons have been enemies for ages.
Gemi does not care that Shalisi is a witch, he will have her as his Wella, even if he has to leave his home to be with her.
Shalisi is torn between being with the Dragon she is coming to love and her sisters in the Coven who have been grooming her to be the most powerful witch. Gemi is nothing like she's been told all her life about dragons....He is a fun, caring, loving and sexy as all sin man.

I was given a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. So, this Draglen brother is my favorite by far! This is the fourth book in the series. I recommend reading them all, and in order. I skipped Layern, and was a bit baffled at times because I lacking the knowledge of what happened in the previous book. This book has a different POV than the other three books. I actually enjoyed the new take on it. Gemi, a dragon shifter, is very aggressive, and has been following his future wella for six months before approaching her. This is because she is a witch. Witches and Dragons are enemies. It has great "adult scenes". Also, something new, it had danger and violent action. I loved when Gemi and Shalisi were out in positions of dire peril. It made for a riveting read. If you haven't read this series yet, please do. Some scenes had me laughing out loud, others made me want a nice night with my other half.

The forth book in this series Gemi has waited a very long time to find his wella he wasn't expecting her to be a witch who are a dragon's enemy the moment he laid eyes on Shalisi he had to make her his fighting his darker side and trying to be sneaky as to not let his other family member know that his well a is a witch gemi is desperate and is constantly making up reasons to see his well a but Shalisi is hesitant she knows it's forbidding but she just can't stop seeing him she's convinced they will be killed because that's the penalty if they are caught by the other witches in Shalisi coven will Shalisi finally see that her and Gemi are ment for each other? Will they be caught and if they are what will be their penalty will they end up together or killed to find out what happens next I strongly recommend that you buy and read this book it is awesome I loved it

OMG! Could these brothers get any sexier? This is the fourth in the series, and what a series it is! I can't wait to get to the next one. Each brother is hot, sexy, wild and forceful, but also have such tenderness and love for each other and their "wellas". They make you want to crawl into the book and snatch them away from everyone, keeping them for yourself.
Solease Barner has such a way with words, putting her extremely active imagination into such wonderful works of art. It is not hard to picture the characters through her words. The plot is continual throughout the series, but with new twists in each episode. I loved this family of brothers from the first book, and am looking forward to reading about each one of them (and the sister also, of course). Well done Solease.

I just loved this story so much and it was amazing and unique, both with the writing and the storytelling. They have to go against the odds to fight for their love and to be honest with each other of their feelings! Gemi would give his life for Shalisi without hesitation and as long as she is protected from all danger. The author did a fantastic job at creating such great characters and a great story and once I started reading the book that I just could not put it down and was sad when it ended. For it had so many different elements like paranormal shifers, witches, action, deaths, spells, happiness, erotic passion, hate, love, etc. Just grab a copy of the book and start reading and you to will be hooked.

Gemi is dragon Sweliq is an witch and they are supposed to be together but try telling Gemi Dragon that ,be to his dragon this is mate. They both are a danger to each other.
Even with the danger they there love stand strong. I love how Author Solease M Barner had Gemi family comes in time of need I enjoyed reading about another brother being conquered to love. When fate has chosen your love one for you all need to sits down and let fate do her thing. and I recommend this book because I know I enjoyed it and you really get a kick out of reading it it was 100 real I'm giving an honest review and thanks for the opportunity of reading about Gemi and Sweliq and I'm giving Gemi five stars.

I really enjoy reading Gemi book just like his brothers he was possessive stubborn and not willing to take no for an answer he was determined to make Shalisi see that they were right for each other even though the odds were against them. I also like the fact that he never gave up even when she turned him down even when she told him to leave he was still there proving to her that his love for her was sincere and that she was his one and only. Overall this was a great read I totally recommend this book to anyone who love possesses stubborn alpha males looking forward to read about the other brothers.

I was gifted this book for an honest review and have to say that I totally fell in love with Gemi and Shalisi. this one is told in a third person view compared to the first three book and that is ok with me cause I like to read what others see and not just what the people of the story are going through. I liked that about this story. I loved this book and quickly fell into the story. It is a nicely paced, hot spicy read, and is definitely for those over 18 years old. The story of Romeo and Juliet comes to mind, witches and dragons being enemies. Gemi and Shalisi are drawn together will they end up that way or be torn apart. Read the book to find out!

This is book 4 of The Draglen Brothers. This book focuses on Gemi. His mate is a witch who lives in New Orleans. The BIG problem is that Witches and Dragons are huge enemies. Shalisi keeps telling him that they will both wind up being killed. He keeps sneaking back to Earth to be with her. Shalisi is suppose to become the Passer for the Witches. She will have a lot of power. Things escalate and Queen Nala is forced to come to Earth to get her son, Gemi. Again filled with many steamy, hot sex scenes. Another great example of story telling by Solease. Be sure and read the first three books before reading this on. Here is another great read.
