What did Kalive Miller do now? Blindfolded and bound, Kali and two strangers are abducted and thrown in the back of a van, which makes a trip to their unmarked graves. As life flashes before Kali’s eyes, we meet Bernice Davenport, his young gullible mother and Rufus Miller, his deranged, sex craved father. After refusing to follow the rules under her mother’s reign, Bernice is thrown out on the streets. Homeless, she believes her troubles are over when she meets Rufus who offers her a place to stay. However this gift comes with many secrets and before long she learns that he is far from sane. Wanting to escape his dangerous mood swings, her world is rocked when she discovers she’s pregnant and needs the savage even more. Growing up tough is an understatement for young Kalive. As a teenager he learns to fend for himself despite not having an ideal childhood. Just when things get bad tragedy strikes again and a monster is born. Wow.....this book was good. When I say T. Styles way of writing is weird but yet you can't put it down. I can't wait to read another one of her books. I have to read the rest of this series. I do believe this one was the last one but I have to re-check that. This book was a page turner from beginning to end. Once I started I couldn't put it down. I love to read books like this and I look forward to reading even more books by her. Keep up the good work T. Styles.
Great read! Gratifying storyline with blasts from the past! After reading Kali's background, I can surely understand why he was a barbaric, hatchet-carrying character! With this story, T. Styles gave an exceptional in-depth account of Kali's parents, grandparents & their mentality-not a stone was left unturned. As a fan of the Raunchy series, this story fell in line perfectly. I undeniably enjoyed reading about this twisted, egregious character named Kali!
SOOOO let me just say off the top this book kept me interested throughout the whole time. It literally lets you know how and why kalive is the way he is. It was alot of tragedy throughout this book. BERNICE literally made me soo angry in this book. you really have to stop the on going process. it was sad how she was treated when she was younger AND SHE KNEW how it felt to be abused and ridiculed and talked down on.. and she turned around and did the same thing. NEVER SAY NEVER she told her mother on multiple times that she would never be like her, never be addicted to drugs, never treat her kids bad.. and what do you know? she literally turned out WORSE then her mother. she was such a bad mother and that really caused alot of negative effect towards kalive and his mentality RUFUS had to be one of the characters I didnt like THE MOST. the way that he did otis was so so fucked up. he was literally mental. he seemed real sweet in the beginning LITERALLY and it all started to come out the real truth about him as time progressed. JACKIE I was so/so about her... her jealously and envy of bernice had me like "why are you even still living here with this bitch" but as bad as i wanted to talk shit about her, she did take care of bernice son to the ends of wits. and its really really sad how her life came to an end. OTIS I didnt like how he was cheating on his wife with bernice. I did however love the loyalty that he had within himself (if that even makes sense) his wife was dying and he paid attention solely to her until her death day. NOW I dont like the habits that he instilled upon bernice. but however he was so good with kalive and to bernice. he was highly scared however of rufus..and had made plans for rufus but things didnt turn out that way. It was also sad how he passed and he definitely did leave a grave imprint on kalive's heart and life. KRISTEN the little time that I did get to have her throughout the book I did really respect her persona. She was the reason why kali was literally trying to change his life around. and she actually gave kali and chance and wasnt on no bullshit. When I was reading about the way she got dropped it was really really disturbing. SASHA THE MOST FOUL BITCH IN THE BOOK. she definitely was worse than bernice when it came to loyalty. She was a prostitute and was envious of her cousin kristen. Which should let you know that money doesnt always make you happy. the way she orchestrated things in this book it really had me in awe. GRAND he was literally pointless in this book (not saying tstyles didnt do her thing) he was just a pointless human being born. He was wishy washy when it came to him and "family" one minute he is all about blood the next minute he didnt want anything to do with his "blood" The way he was denying bernice on multiple times when she needed his help was mind blowing. BUT he was always housing and storing some bitches around him. KALI gahlee when I tell you this man is a survivor I literally mean just that. Just reading about his background and the different things he went through its no wonder why he turned out the way he did. and his father was already mental as well so that didnt do any better. BUT the way he was trying to turn his life around especially when he found out he was going to be a father was amazing to me, I literally loved reading about it. EVEN NOW he is a great father I can even tell you how many times he has saved his daughter from trouble like a father is supposed to do. JACE I really loved his character but in this book you see a different side of him. and the way he did kali... was fucked up. and I dont even think kali even knew about the shiesty things he did to him otherwise he would've been dead long before he lost his life dude to complications of AIDS. RICK.. I was so damn happy when he was finally off this book. HE WAS SO FOUL. literally it was so many things and lifes that he had caused hurt and death too. HE WAS BEHIND THE KILLING OF HARMONY. but he always tried to make it seem like he was such this good man. so when his character came to an end.. I couldnt been even more happy. JAYDEN really has me worrying about her loyalty and if she is even really loyal to her twin sister mad. I HAVE the 6th book on deck and I cant wait to read it. T.STYLES once again did it in this mfer.
What can I say except strictly amazing. This book had me feeling all types of emotions. Learning about Kali and his past made me look back at different people in my life. Often killers and kids that grow up too fast have a reason behind they're madness. Reading this proved just that. I was really rooting for Bernice, especially when she tried to get clean. Unfortunately she was just as ratchet as Harmony. I know that the author won't leave us hanging because I gotta find out exactly what Jaden is hiding. A couple times I had to re read something because of word Order, but other then that this was an awesome read.
Love Kali story you got a better understanding of him and were he came from . I did not see that coming I swear t.styles pulls you in and hit you and you never see it coming . I wanted to end to see what happen but then again I didn't want it to end . Kali crazy ass hell but he have will fool you .
Raunchy Series Raunchy Raunchy 2 Raunchy 3 Mad Maxx: Children of the Catacombs Kali: Raunchy Relived I always thought Heaven from Heaven Sent by Dynah Zale was my most hated character ever. But babyyyyyyy, this Harmony heffa got her by a long shot. Now for as long as I been reading, I have ran into some messed up characters, but this girl here is passed that. To describe Harmony, I will have to tell you to think of the most trifling person you know in the world then times that by 55. Yeah, that would be Harmony. Shorty did have one or the roughest upbringing, I'll give her that. Between her mama, grandma and Uncle, they all basically took turns into mentally f-ing her ALL THE WAY UP! The level of abuse she had to endure, she turned around and inflicted on her kids. Man and them kids *smh* needed to be loved so badly that it drove them insane when love wasn't dished out. And no matter how insane her kids were, they still were Angel's in my eyes when it came to Harmony. She had to be Lucifer in disguise. Her child Jayden, naive? That's what they say, but Jay is conniving AF😂 and Madjesty, her other child...Bruh😏. Madjesty was just on another level of being screwed up by your environment. Jace, he must have missed out on love somewhere too, to keep putting up with Harmony's BS, he wasn't all there either if you ask me. Now I know love can make you do and forgive some crazy things but eventually you gotta get tired of being sick and tired, right? Well tell Jace that! *roll eyes* I would also have to say that Kali is a boy Harmony because he is just as screwed up, well maybe more. I really have no idea who is worse, I just know they are past help and Jesus! I dont know how many times my face was like 😳, and everytime I thought they couldn't get any "iller", my face was like 😳. When you read this series you're probably gonna have 3,794 WTF moments 😂 5*
I completely understand Kali now. His dad had real mental illness issues. His mom wasn't worth two cents and was a drug addict. Rufus wife was crazy and his best friend, Otis loved his girlfriend. If course Rufus killed Otis. I thought Rufus was in jail only to learn that he was in a mental institution for those seven years. Kali had many issues to deal with in his life that were painful. Being left alone for over two weeks with no good and only the dogs. WOW. The author got me with the first chapter where Kali was allegedly kidnap. I enjoyed this book, it brought everything together.
While T. Styles never disappoints. I am confused , did I miss something? Because I went from reading about Jace taking Kali to Chris who killed Kristen and their baby to Mexicans and Jaden and Majesty. Did Kali find out that Jace and Sasha had Kristen and the baby killed? And if so what happened to Jace and Sasha? I know Kali didn't just let it go or did he? Somebody PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE! I am so confused!! I must have missed something!
I literally be lost for words these books are so good that I can not express enough how much I love them all I can’t even choose between Mad or Jayden as they both have sins and I love Kali I wish he get a fair shake somewhere so he can just enjoy life on to the next
The book was a good read, but I feel like it left out a lot of information about some of the characters as the story continued on but as I stated it was a good book
I am really enjoying this series and can't wait to find out how it will all end. Moving on to the final book. At this point anything can and probably will happen so I will try to go into it with no expectations.
First let me acknowledge that there were a few errors in the beginning. However, the way this story is told, I can look over them.
I reread the Raunchy series last week to gear up for this moment. Everything that I thought about Kalive Miller was confirmed. There is truly a method to his madness. I'm not gonna give spoilers but I will say that after reading this one and not understanding why he behaved the way he did, then you may have missed some critical points for this one. I'm so happy that someone special popped up in this book. It made my day better to hear from her. Can't wait for the next book from Mama T
Kalive Miller, a breakout character from the Raunchy series, grew up under some of the worst possible living conditions. His mother was a dope addict and his father was just plum crazy! Unfortunately, the famous cliche, "The apple doesn't fall from the tree", is very evident in this book. The only difference is…Kali is a lot more ruthless!
Go get a copy of this book and reacquaint yourself with Kali!
I really enjoyed this book. I was confused at points because I didn't realize it was about Kali. It had been a while since I had read the Raunchy series so I didn't make that connection. It was really good to have that background on why Kali behaves the way he does and the reason he carried that machete around. I'm interested in knowing who the next book will center around. Jace? Kali and Jayden? Mad and Cassius? Can't wait for the next installment.
Never a disappoint from one of my favorite authors. Love the story about how Kali come to be the demon he is..lol. Hope to read more cause I was drooling at the end about what will be next. I can only assume but love the cliffhanger. Awaiting the next read. Great job.
This book was very good it was a page turner for sure I couldn't put it down I love when T Styles write a book I get sucked in and visualize the characters and the action going on in it.
This book shed light on so much! Kali started off as a normal little boy, sweet & loving ...due to the madness his mother and real father put him through you expect his behavior to be exactly how it is! T.Styles never disappoints me!
Omg this book was down rite out of control. This book showed how Kali was raised from day. Kali was one very much messed up and totally misunderstood. I'm very glad that T. Styles wrote this story it was very well worth the wait. Great job T. Styles. 5 star banger.
I was a little confused but as I was reading I saw the story line which made sense I'm still a fan and always will be you need to get this to complete this series...
