THIS IS A DARK ROMANCE. PLEASE CHECK TRIGGERS BEFORE LISTENING. YOUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS.
They call it Cyanide.
Tiny pink pills shaped like skulls.
They taste like candy and feel like forgiveness—until they don't. The world slows, the colors melt, and everyone starts looking like someone you'd die for.
You don't just take Cyanide.
You surrender to it.
And once it's in you, you stop caring what's real.
First impressions? Fun, witty writing and an unsolved mystery?! I AM SO IN!
Written in first-person POV. Present tense.
Oh the way this gripped me from the get-go between the precarious situation, the likable, ‘real’ FMC, and the mystery she’s set out to solve… I was only a few sentences in before I found myself stalking this author because I MUST familiarize myself with then entire catalog, just like that.
Overall: It’s fast-paced, intriguing, a little bit dark …and basically non-stop action. Grab this if you’re craving something fun and dangerous. 4 stars.
🎙️ Audiobook: Ohh this was so incredible—absolutely flawless sound, and beautiful voice-acting. 5 stars.
This book!! I remember reading this the first time last August and walking away speechless. And even though I already knew what was going to happen, I was still left mind blown and speechless.
Wild, addictive ride in the best possible way. Both Jaxon and Lyra were new to me narrators, and they both did an amazing job of bringing the story to life. Somehow Blair’s inner monologue and commentary was even funnier heard compared to read.
Nova is amazing with her plot twists and that ending made me question everything, again. I can’t wait to read Relapse!
