They deserve more than survival
Sonya grew up believing love means pain that is later cancelled out by an apology and flowers, she saw that fear is normal and love means shrinking yourself. She now knows that nobody should grow up like this and they definitely shouldn't have to live like this, but she sees no escape. She sees the cycle, the repetition, the wrongness, but cannot see a way out. Until Jamal shows her that love can be gentle, it's worship, it's care. Not control, not punishment and certainly not fear.
Jamal also grew up in a cycle of abuse, he broke that cycle but the guilt of that act cripples him, leaving him feeling angry, raw and unworthy. Broken enough to walk away from the one woman who can heal him, she accepts him and his past, he just has to accept and forgive himself.
This may be a novella but it is an emotional rollercoaster of abuse, fear, pain and danger, followed by the high of hope, the sudden drop of rejection before the final exhilarating rush of love, promises, honesty and forever lift you high once again.
The men of Iron Den Security carry heavy baggage and rarely do anything the easy way, but once they finally accept they are worthy of love...they embrace it fiercely. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Great Read!!!
As always this author Brings to life real life issues and address them. And still makes you feel apart of the story. And in a short amount of time. The beginning the middle and the end with help to understand. I wish her writings were longer but I’m sure she has a motive to all she does. Keep writing and I’ll definitely keep reading!!

Another Must Read!
