I really like the bit at the start of this one when Logan was little and his worries. It was great to see his family explain things to him and make sure he didn't feel bad about what he thought. It really came into play when the book flash forwarded to the present and Logan was in a situation where he knew his orders were wrong and he tried to do something to make the bad thing not happen. Sadly he couldn't, there just wasn't enough time. This event then quickly spiraled to so much more, starting with Logan's life being in danger. Thankfully guys from back home happened to be in the area and stumbled upon him to save him.
You would think the danger was done there, but it wasn't and soon a woman was coming after Logan with a gun. Turned out to the be the best thing that happened to him. Blythe in a haze of grief, did something so out of character, thankfully she did it to the right people to not take offense, but to people who could help her get answers. That she ended up with Logan was just the bonus.
Blythe really took to Belle Fleur and all the unusual things that encompass it. I really loved how she fit in with the medical team and could help them out.
While Blythe was getting settled at home, the guys were on a mission to stop a mad man. It took them across the world and they managed to stay ahead of him at the end to put a stop to his evil deeds. I did love how they changed one man's life while they were there, so great!

All of the storylines for these books are so interesting and not what you would normally think of going on in the world. This one was sad but made you think about the world as a whole and the areas we don’t see as Americans. Love that Logan found his one and she is smart and sassy. Perfect for him.
With each book Mary kennedy writes gives the reader what they crave in a book. Mystery, danger, love story. Ms Kennedy has done that with this series and the ones before fresh, information and kickass story with HEA
A scary premise here, based on a real taboo. Unfortunately, Logan Anders, grandson of Reaper-patriot Noah, finds himself almost dead after an attack against his team. A woman whomis hurt by the same plot becomes a major part of Logan's life.
