I enjoy reading and writing LitRPG. My debut series is Loop Bound available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.
Loop Bound is planned for 10 books total. As a reader of LitRPG I understand the urge to binge. Heck, I am almost tempted to not start a series unless it has 3-5 books in it. With that in mind, I aim for short rapid release windows.
I have already done a review with the first book. I may be a little harsh on the star rating but this is a new author and there were issues with the book. Otherwise the book was a good read with all being said. This is why I gave a 3 star rating. Lack of true originality. Kindle is deluged with tons of litrpg that regurgitate the same thing over and over. Although this novel was a fun read, it regurgitated the same old thing. Most authors seem to think that they must religiously follow game mechanics and that is the limiting factor since those game mechanics are their due to technology and time constraints. Armor slot on a human than can.literallly wear anyrhing? Come on! A bunch of little things that drive absurdity. Break the mold. Be truly creative.
Excellent progression fantasy built on great characters and world building
This series really surprised me. It wasn't a time loop series but a unique progression idea. And then I read more. The characters and world building are what carry it. Both are top notch and even the Deus Ex Machinas seem earned. A bit like Defiance of the Fall but with much better pacing and character work, just an excellent series. And the author is doing something really interesting with Mira and leaving you not entirely sure that Logan is special or if Mira is so unique she is powering up Logan and her luck is why he is special. Extremely funny at times as well. This is one I'll be reading at royal road with excitement.
Great continuation as we finish the Tutorial arc. I thought the resolution of the Invasion wasn't amazing and felt a little abbreviated, but overall, I'm curious to see what the wider universe brings to bear.
Also, Mira continues to be the best part of the story, but the author needs to chill with the food fetish. Between that and the weird need to constantly point out her snoring and drooling in her sleep, she's moving uncomfortably close to useless haremlit-girl twit territory. Don't ruin a good thing.
This book is good. It satisfied everything i needed u till the next book. Good thing and bad things happen buy iverall you dont want to miss out on this book, this series. Ive gotten a chance to read it because of kindle unlimited but I like them so much they derve to be bought to be re-read over and over again. Don't miss out in this action pact series. .
A lot of book series start to bog down in the story or slow to a glacial pace. Those who can keep up the pace usually grow to fast and quickly become boring and predictable.
This book series even in the 4th book the main characters continue to grow but the story is still engaging, moving, and funny in good proportion. I don't remember the last time I have read a series that has been able to keep me just as invested as the first book.
Four books in and this series is one of my favourite series. Regardless of genre. The story is so captivating and incredibly well written and edited. But the star of this series are the characters. Deep, nuanced, funny, lovable, and full of personality. Mira might just be my favourite character ever. I’m just sad there’s no fifth book yet.
Can't wait to see what Logan and Mira get up to in the greater universe 😁 This series is so good. Great world building and growing characters. I might take off half a star for too much dungeon grinding but it didn't spoil the book, just slowed it down in the middle. Highly recommended.
I do really appreciate the books and the story great work. And if you do read the reviews. I really wish if you toon down the sadistic interactions between Logan and aly. It’s enough already keeping up with the MC and Mira. Other than that it’s really great story. Thanks
Loved this book so so so much! The action was incredible, the pacing was perfect, new characters and old got new details, it was a perfect way to continue this series. Only downside is waiting for the next book!
I'm a big fan of progression and litrpg, but a lot of the time the stories suffer from the focus of the stat sheets. This story and this book doesn't suffer from that. It's very very good.
After finishing the first 4 books I keep thinking this is what defiance of the fall should have been. Great stories, good characters, plenty of humor, tragedy and action.
Got all the way to the battle at the end and finally quit. I'm tired of wasting time reading about someone who doesn't want to use his own power. The moral quandries are fun in book one, while fighting for your planet's existence they are ridiculous.
I love the character growth. Logan never has it easy but he has great friends and the Emmy goes to Mira by far my favorite character she is hilarious and I can’t imagine the book without her.
This one was awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and this series so far. I highly recommend reading them all in order it is a wonderful story. I can’t wait for the next update me, I sure hope it’s on its way!
A New Reflection book four of the Loop Bound series, is an ebook I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). This book spent more time and attention with building allies and strengthening relationships, but there was no slacking on the action and tension.
This series of the System takeover and our guy getting a trait that resets every few levels was fantastic. I guess he’ll be leaving Earth if this series continues.
