A fadt paced novel, following on from the earlier books, a few 'in jokes' with references to Harry Potter, Steven was just recommending the audiobooks last week.
Love the steps forward and tie in with Aunt Gen & Morgana, who IMHO has been seriously neglected in the books.
The witches are coming into their powers now, both struggling and developing
The veil walker plot is both changing & getting interesting, as is the developing Council.
Question
How does Rowans' relationship differ from Cats?
Already looking forward to book 10.

Steven once again another brilliant chapter. The storyline gripped me from the start, the fight to save Rowan and Cat being thrust into the leaders position and the battle with Danu and the council was totally unexpected but I could see something was about to happen. Like all your books you leave us on a cliffhanger waiting for the next book.

A thrilling read!
Another great "episode" in a fun little series. Full of magic and love, but not overly sappy. Mr. Aitchison crafts a great world easy to get lost in, and that's a kind of magic all unto istelf.
