Book 2 was even better than the 1st. Amanda learns the hard way that no affair can stay secret. Will one night with the President be Amanda's career ending or will it turn into something else. After the best night of her life she is on cloud nine till she finds out her co worker is out to get her. After he shows her he has proof of the affair will she do what he ask and be his puppet or will she say screw it and rush her and The President's carter? I highly recommend this series! Claire Adams knows how to keep you interested and wanting more!

Sometimes I wish this was a dream. Amanda is an intelligent woman. Her career has risen so high in the political ranks that I can't imagine the scandal that her affair with Xavier, the President of the United States, will create. Combined, blackmail and love, will probably destroy all the careers involved. How will she cope? How long can she keep up this secret love before this nightmare of a situation implodes on her? Claire Adams has me hooked! Power 2 is a must read!

Now that Amanda's affair with the President is no longer a secret, she is forced out of her position by Jason and he will do anything to keep Amanda under his thumb. With the growing attraction between the President and Amanda but Amanda holding back because she doesn't want her reputation or the Presidents tarnished because Jason will expose the truth if she doesn't do as he says. But what the President tells Smanda could change everything. Can't wait to read what will happen next

OK hold on....is it just me or did the author completely change the name of a character? I'm pretty sure the guard that was her friends was Dimitri in the first part and is now Nikolay in Part 2? That is super sloppy editing.
