I'm giving Outside ABCs by Janice D. Green a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. This is the kind of children's book that makes learning the alphabet an absolute delight.
This ABC book takes young readers through the alphabet with an outdoor nature theme. What sets it apart is Seymore the Look Again Owl, who guides children through each page and transforms the whole experience into an interactive game. Kids aren't just passively reading through letters. They're actively searching and discovering alongside their feathered friend.

In Outside ABCs by Janice D. Green, kids will have fun exploring God’s creation with Seymore, the Look Again Owl! Each letter of the alphabet is cleverly paired with an insect, plant, or animal found in most neighborhoods, making this book entertaining, educational, and relevant to a child’s world. The author does a fantastic job of presenting interesting facts with delightful rhyme and detailed illustrations that will surely capture young readers’ imaginations and inspire an appreciation for God’s Creation all around them.
