This one's a must-read!
Initially, the title made me hesitate, but after checking out the synopsis and a sample, I was hooked. Seriously, I'm so glad I gave this book a chance. It was an incredible and beautiful story. The plot was packed with laughs, thanks to a certain 6-year-old named Hannah and her obsession with perfectly cooked chocolate chip pancakes, nail-biting drama, and such intense chemistry between Katie and Leo that I almost skipped ahead to see when things heated up and how steamy it got.
What I loved most about this book was Leo's unwavering commitment to protecting his family, including Katie, even if it meant compromising his business. Family always came first for him. That showed me he's a man of his word, and that's a huge plus in my book. I also admired how Katie, despite the constant danger, stayed true to her promise to protect the family she grew to love. This book completely blew my expectations out of the water. The last chapter really got to me, no lie. This author consistently impresses me with her writing. This book is definitely a keeper. Thanks, Ms. Vaughn, for another fantastic read!

Family is what you make it to be.
Hannah loved Katie Ellison from the start. She just knew instinctively that Katie would be the perfect nanny for her, and she was right. They clicked from day one. I think because they clicked, Leo Buchanan could relax and dedicate appropriate attention to his business and ease the concerns of the board. He found himself falling for Katie and liking the peaceful family rhythm of a home. Katie was falling for him too but she had the baggage of a crazy stalking ex. Max was the worst of all stalker who increased his actions that forced Katie to run again to protect Leo and Hannah. What Katie didn't understand was that Leo was just as determined to protect her. With the treat removed, they vowed to be a immovable force together that a family front presents. Hannah was anxious for Katie to adopt her so they could be a real family.

Pleasantly surprised...
I truly enjoyed this story. I fell in love with Leo and Katie. It was a beautiful love story. I think most of all I really, really cared about Hannah. She had a wonderful and loving personality. She took negotiations to a whole new level with her dad. Leo had a sweet and caring relationship with Hannah. And he had the best attitude about it. I also give Katie her props. She was a strong women. Reading about Leo and Katie did not seem like there was an age difference. They were definitely hot, spicy, sensual and titillating! They had my temperature rising! It was fire!🔥🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🥵🪭🪭🪭🪭💯💯💯💯Great story!

He has had countless nannies who doesn't make the cut until Katie. She gets his daughter and worms her way into his heart, but she is hiding something and when it comes to the forefront danger is close and Katies must decide if staying with Leo and Hannah is the right thing to do. This heartfelt story centers around a precocious little girl and a man who has opened his heart for a woman who has healed them but will her past bring everything to a standstill. This story had me from the first page.

stronger than you think
Katie was in an abusive relationship. She never realized how strong she was. Leo her boss struggled with keeping his feelings in check. One thing lead to another and the two of them couldn’t deny their feelings for each other. Hannah Leo’s daughter was wise beyond years. Had her dad wrapped around her finger. Great short read.
