Brittany Storm lives in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, where horses have been a part of her life for over twenty years. An avid rider and competitor in the hunter/jumper show ring, she’s currently training and competing with a young horse of her own. When she’s not at the barn or writing, Brittany enjoys life with her husband, two young kids, and her dog. After losing her mom a few years ago to cancer, she found solace in romance novels and loved escaping into their world, so much so that she decided to start writing stories of her own. Her stories celebrate family, horses, and the kind of love that makes life feel a little sweeter.
Ughhh, Brittany Storm…you really got me with this story. It reminded me why I love small-town romance so much 🥹 I was hooked from the first few pages and honestly could not put this book down. There was just so much emotion woven into Walker and Farrah’s story—years of history, unresolved feelings, missed chances, and two people who never fully let each other go. After an injury sidelines Walker’s baseball career, he returns to Primrose Hill and comes face to face with the woman who still owns such a huge piece of his heart.
Farrah is newly divorced, raising adorable little Hadley, and running the interior design company she built for herself. I loved watching her slowly allow herself to want more again.
And Walker…ugh. He’s tough on the outside, but absolute putty in Farrah’s hands. The way he loves her is so beautiful. The way he is with Hadley and their sweet instant connection completely melted me!! And then to keep things light, his inner monologue had me cackling 😂 Yep, I said cackling.
The sibling banter and family group chat chaos brought so much warmth and humor to the story, and the small town atmosphere felt incredibly cozy and lived-in.
I got serious Elsie Silver and Laura Pavlov vibes from this one—two of my absolute favorite authors—but Brittany still made it feel completely her own. She brought her own warmth and style to the story, and I ate it UP.
Small town romance is one of my favorite genres, but I’m picky…and this one absolutely delivered. The balance of emotion, tension, chemistry, and spice just worked so well for me.
I also really appreciated how delicately the postpartum anxiety rep was handled throughout the story. I loved that the author addressed something that is such a reality for so many women and still not talked about or taken seriously enough.
A huge thank you to Brittany Storm for the ARC 💜 I need Ava and Cohen’s story immediately because I am so excited for it!!
Definitely in my baseball era. I’ll live here forever 😍❤️
You had me at second chance romance tbh. I knew I would be hooked. They get me every single time. And Brittany Storm did such an amazing job at capturing real and honest feelings throughout this book.
I love the dual timeline, it really helped get such a good picture of everything and everyone’s thoughts throughout the years.
The emotion felt so real. The tension was top notch and such a sweet slow burn. It was truly beautiful. I was rooting for both Farrah and Walker the entire time, literally about to throw my damn kindle. Just had me going really 😂😂
The setting was perfect. I love a small town where everyone knows everyone. I adore Primrose Hill with my whole heart 😍😍
Plus points for a beautiful cover, that’s what drew me in. 😍 Also his nickname for Farrah? Wildflower? Ugh perfect 😩
Overall a gorgeous novel about second chances, redemption and happy ends. I highly recommend picking this one up. It’s a quick read too!
4.5/5⭐️ I would have made this a complete 5 star but I just wanted more from Walker. I loved him so much but we just didn’t get enough of him unfortunately.
Thank you Brittany Storm for the arc. These are all of my honest thoughts and opinions.
Don't let fear hold you back from something that could be everything."
"And what is it that you want, Wildflower?" he asked in a whisper. "You."
My want for Farrah was visceral. My need for her was dangerous—total and unrelenting, like once I gave in, there would be no pulling myself back.”
This was my very first book by Brittany Storm and the second I opened this book, I was HOOKED. I read this entire story in one sitting in about 4½ hours because I physically could not put it down.
Walker and Farrah’s story is emotional, heartbreaking, beautiful, and so incredibly well written. The journey these two go on absolutely wrecked me in the best way possible. You can feel the weight of the years they spent apart, the hurt caused by choices made out of fear, and the realization that sometimes time is the one thing you can never get back.
What I loved most is that the emotions never felt forced or overly dramatic. Every decision these characters made felt thoughtful and realistic for where they were in life and what they were carrying emotionally. I wasn’t frustrated with them I understood them. Their growth felt natural and earned, which made their journey back to each other even more rewarding.
Brittany Storm did such a phenomenal job with the writing and pacing. I loved how the story seamlessly blended glimpses of the past with the present, slowly unraveling the history between Walker and Farrah while still keeping me completely invested in where they were headed.
And Walker’s relationship with Hadley? Absolutely precious. Watching that bond grow over time added so much heart and tenderness to this story.
This book is emotional, healing, romantic, and full of second chances done RIGHT. It’s about love, regret, timing, growth, and learning that sometimes the people meant for us never truly leave our hearts.
If you love emotional second chance romances with baseball vibes, heartfelt character growth, and characters that feel incredibly real, you need to pick this one up immediately.
My favorite Quotes
“I’m not telling you all this to make you feel bad. Everything happened the way it was supposed to. We both needed to grow up. To go out into the world, make our own mistakes. We’d always had each other to shield us from the hard parts of life. Sometimes you need to sit in it to learn who you are and what you’re capable of.” - Walker
“You were made for me, You know how I know? Because every moment without you felt wrong. And now? Now everything feels exactly right.” -Walker
“We made mistakes. We lost time. But we grew up. We found ourselves. And we still found our way back to each other.” - Walker
If you love baseball, a messy love story, and a country setting this book is for you! I was definitely getting some Elsie Silver and Liz Tomforde vibes but with the way Brittany writes, it’s very unique and full of swoon worth moments. I was instantly hooked by the first few pages and couldn’t put this book down!
I love Farrah and how she stood her ground with what she wanted in her life. Giving up on love can be very hard but she was bound and determined to meet all of her goals. She also knew what her heart could and couldn’t handle with Walker entering the MLB.
Walker was set out to do the same as he didn’t go after Farrah, thus allowing him to enter the MLB and pursue dreams that weren’t apart of his original plan. Letting her go would be one of the hardest things for him to do in life but also provided him with so many once in a lifetime opportunities.
The second chance romance trope is so good in this book. I loved all of the slow burning and pinning moments between Walker and Farrah. Many of the chapters had my heart in a vice! The dual timeline added so much to this story. This troy set up allowed for you to really see how they felt during their time apart, what they accomplished without each other, but you could also feel the heartache and love both of them went through for each other.
I love both Farrah and Walker’s family members and how close they all were with each other. I am a huge sucker for books that are interconnected with close family and friends. There is so much strong banter between all of these characters and it was very enjoyable. And then there was sweet Hadley. She was such an enjoyable two year old. You can tell how loved she is by everyone in the family and especially by Farrah, who is such a good mother. I loved their mother/daughter relationship.
Thank you Brittany for the opportunity to read this book. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read Faults and Verdict!
Moving home to rehab his elbow, professional baseball pitcher Walker James is forced back into the orbit of the woman he once planned to spend the rest of his life with. Farrah King has built her interior design business from the ground up, and works hard to co-parent her two year old daughter with her ex-husband. With Walker and Farrah back in the same town and their families closely intertwined, they’ll have to decide if being together is worth facing the realities that split them apart nine years ago.
Loved the story, loved the banter, loved all the siblings and teammates. But oh my god, the miscommunication ran rampant in this one!
This was an easy swoony romance with great characters dealing with real problems. It was a quick read that had me laughing and kicking my feet a few times. I also loved getting hints of other characters and their potential future stories. I just really struggled with the miscommunication trope. Every single problem between the MCs in every timeline was either due to withholding information or not communicating clearly. I don't mind the miscommunication trope in a story when it's used sparingly, but at some point here it just became redundant.
I did really enjoy their chemistry and banter, and the way Walker treated Farrah's daughter was the sweetest! I do want to go back and read Walker's sister Addison's story and I'm excited for what comes next in Primrose Hill.
Curveball releases June 5, 2026.
Thank you to the author for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
First of all, thank you to Brittany Storm for letting me be part of the ARC Team ñ.
This is the second book in the series and follows Walker James, a professional baseball player whose career is suddenly put into question after an injury. He returns to his hometown to recover, where it becomes very difficult to avoid Farrah King, his first love, who walked away from their relationship nine years ago when he decided to go pro.
Farrah is now divorced, a single mother, and fully focused on growing her interior design business while raising her daughter. But the moment Walker and Farrah see each other again, it becomes obvious that the chemistry and feelings between them never truly disappeared.
I devoured this book in two days!!!! I was already so intrigued by them after their cameos in book one, and their story did not disappoint me at all. I loved how naturally their second chance romance developed without ever feeling forced. Their chemistry, connection, and love for each other still felt so real. I also understood why Farrah made the decision she did years ago — she simply wasn’t ready at that point in her life. And Walker?! I absolutely loved how quickly he fell for Hadley.
Another thing I loved was the sibling dynamics and family relationships throughout the story. I’m already hoping we get more books about them in the future because I definitely want more from this world.
This was the second chance I needed🥹 Walker and Farrah were freaking ADORABLE and I was rooting like a proud mom the entire time😭
This was messy. But we love it. These characters had years of animosity after a messy breakup but the ties were never broken and it honestly made them so much stronger❤️🩹 Farrah was honest from the start in feeling insecure, how hard it was to see Walker getting the attention of woman who were constantly around.
I loved Walkers character. He was so kind and sweet. But never giving up on his career even if it took him down bit by bit. With a bad arm and going back home he knew he would run into his past he never forgot. 😭 I love how he was always in love with her GAHHHH MY HEART.
Farrah is a recently divorced single mom. Her little girl was absolutely adorable and she was the sweetest🥹 she was so trusting and caused her mom and Walker to have that beautiful forced proximity hehe. She was THE meddler and I LOVED IT. Farrah was hard to understand and support his baseball lifestyle in the beginning but she grew up and knew he was it and was always going to come home to her and her babygirl. She grew up and loved that she pushed him to go after his dream😭
🚜 Small Town ❤️🩹 Second Chance ⚾️ Sports Romance 😏 Forced Proximity 👩👦 Single Mom
Thank you Brittany for this beautiful earc💙

100% convinced Brittany put crack in this book, I couldn’t put it down.
If I showed up to a yearning competition and I saw Walker & Farrah I would go back home because they are WINNING.
This was messy at times but so raw & real. Both of the characters always had valid feelings and I truly felt for both of them. Their backstory of why they didn’t work out in the first place is a tale as old as time. A lot of their problems would have been solved if they didn’t try to guess what the other was thinking but they get it right …. eventually.
The mental health representation was beautifully done, especially the postpartum anxiety, I felt so seen.
I can’t review this without mentioning the spice, this is open door and KUDOS to the chef (author) because she was cooking. Walker and Farrah have amazing chemistry! If the spice isn’t your thing, trust me they have plenty of tension outside of the bedroom!
The happy ending was so satisfying, Walker & Farrah had a complicated road but they found their way back to each-other.
Baseball Romance • Second chance • Small Town • Mental Health Rep • Spicy Romance
ARC REVIEW: If you love baseball romances, second chances, messy history, and small town country vibes, this book is absolutely for you. Brittany’s writing is unique and emotional in its own way. I was hooked within the first few pages and flew through it!
Walker and Farrah had great chemistry, the banter was fun, and I also really appreciated how the heavier topics were handled; Walker’s depression, Farrah’s postpartum anxiety, and the overall emotional weight of their history felt raw and believable.
The siblings and teammates added so much charm, and I loved getting little glimpses of future stories in Primrose Hill. Being a stepmom myself, I really appreciate the respect, care and love within this topic.
My only real struggle was the miscommunication trope! 😆 At some point I wanted to sit both of them down and force them into a healthy conversation. Every conflict seemed to come back to someone withholding information or not communicating clearly. Come on, guys, talk to each other! But, as much as miscommunication stinks, it really does happen in everyday life (hello, husband of mine haha!) It was emotional, swoony, easy to binge, and had characters that felt very real.
Thank you Brittany Storm for the gifted eARC in exchange for my honest review!
I loved everything about this story. I'm definitely in my sports romance era and there's something special about baseball.
The emotions felt real and raw. From Walker's depression to Farrah's postpartum anxiety, and everything in between. I love that the siblings were so close and each had there own way of communicating and sharing their feelings.
The way that Walker immediately took to Harper was heart melting. That little girl had him wrapped around her finger in no time.
These two had an undeniable connection, the nicknames were cute and meaningful, and they were destined to be together. The time apart felt necessary for growth. Deep down this story was about communicating your feelings and desires with those around you.
Thank you Brittany Storm for the gifted eARC and the chance to provide my honest opinions. I need to go back and read the first book of this stand alone series!!
Sports Romance, Baseball, Baseball Injury, College Love, Second Chances, It's always been you, Spicey, Single Mom, Small Town, Depression, Postpartum Anxiety, PPA, Interior designer, Messy relationships, Horses
In life when you’re given a second chance with your one true love, you have to risk it all and jump straight in head first. In Curveball that’s exactly what Walker does! Walker is home after an MLB injury that may potentially end his career. While home he reconnects with Farrah, his high school sweetheart who pushed him away after college and the start of his MLB career. Farrah is still hesitant and reserved but when her daughter falls in love with Walker and demands to see Walker and his ranch consistently she forced to be in his presence more than she’d like and the sparks are still there!
Everything about Walker and Farrah’s story was perfect! The banter, the chase, and the ending? Omg the ending had me so giddy!
Also, can we just take a moment for all the bathroom references? Every time the bathroom stall was referenced I laughed so hard! I loved seeing Dean and Addison again and all the references from Faults just filled my heart with joy!
The small town setting, cowboy/baseball player MMC, second chance romance, family dynamics… it just hit all the right notes. The chemistry between Walker and Farrah felt so natural, and you could feel that unfinished love from the very beginning. Watching them reconnect after years apart completely pulled me in.
I especially loved how he always encouraged her to chase her own dreams and career, even back when they were teenagers. Their relationship had so much care, history, and respect woven into it that it made every interaction feel meaningful.
The family aspect was probably my favorite part though. The story felt full without being overwhelming, and all the side relationships added so much warmth. There was also a small subplot with amicable co-parenting/divorce that I appreciated so much because it felt mature and realistic instead of unnecessary drama.
This was emotional, cozy, romantic, and honestly just addictive to read. One of those books that completely takes over your brain while you’re reading it and I was sad when it was over. Highly recommend!
I always know a second chance romance is going to wreck me… and does that stop me? Absolutely not. I devoured this book and was instantly invested in Farah and Walker’s story. They were so young when they broke up and both made mistakes, but years later, when life finally gives them another chance, I loved seeing them truly fight for each other this time around.
The tension, unresolved feelings, and emotional history between them were written so beautifully. The slow burn and mutual pining had me completely hooked. We also get a lot of flashbacks, which made their story even more emotional because you really get to see how deeply the time apart affected them both - yeah and feel all that heartache as well.
One of my favorite parts was watching Walker and Hadley build such a sweet relationship as well. And that ending? Absolutely perfect and so deserved for these two.
If you love baseball romance, second chances, small towns, and all the emotional pining - this one is definitely for you.
⚾️Baseball romance 🌻Injured athlete ⚾️Emotional healing 🌻Second chance romance ⚾️Messy history 🌻Forced proximity ⚾️Small-town family dynamics 🌻Divorced, Single-mom FMC ⚾️Professional Athlete MMC 🌻Mental health rep
I loved this one so much! It was exactly what I needed. You know when you start a book and instantly connect with all the characters? That’s exactly what this book was for me. The story, the characters, the romance… all of it just felt perfect.
The second chance romance in this was one of my favorites I’ve read. Yes, it was messy, but that’s what made it feel so raw and emotional. I also absolutely loved the past and present timeline because it made Walker and Farrah’s story hit even harder and added so much depth to their relationship. Walker and Farrah’s chemistry was intense, and the yearning between them was everything! And don’t even get me started on how adorable Walker was with Farrah’s daughter, Hadley. He had me swooning the entire time. The epilogue was also so perfect and exactly what this story needed to wrap everything up
Thank you to the author for an arc copy in exchange for my honest review!
Well dang! I LOVED this book. The characters truly felt so REAL. The relationships/friendships were written true to life; complicated and some a little messy. It felt like hearing about people I could know in my own life.
I loved that the characters were able to sit in their hard feelings. The PPA representation was something that stood out to me, it was very accurately written without bringing shame and I really appreciated it being included.
The pacing and writing of this book was very well done. I felt like it was the perfect length. The pacing was very consistent and the writing flowed well. I loved the character dialogue between siblings and the internal dialogue of the main characters.
This small town romance delivered and was exactly what I want in a love story.
This isn’t a good bye to Primrose Hill, this is just a see ya later because I will be back for Verdict.
3.5 ⭐️ Cute easy read! Walker is a baseball player that was in love with Farrah for a long time.. this is until Farrah cant deal with all that ties in to being a famous baseball player. It’s been years since these two have seen each other and things changed. Farrah is now a single mom and Walker is back in town while he is healing from his injury. But what didnt change seems to be these twos feelings for each other. I did enjoy the read but wished there was a little more! The book itself is not long so if you want a quick baseball read this would be a good choice! There were some parts that I wish had just a bit more detail or more plot but thats what makes it a quick read! I’m not a fan of miscommunication trope and second chance romance so some parts had me getting annoyed at the characters. I do want to read the first book to see the other couples story as I jumped right into this one without reading the first 🤭 I saw baseball and got excited…
Thank you to Brittany Storm for the e-ARC!! 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭: 🩵𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦 ⚾️𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 🩵𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 ⚾️𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧 🩵𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 ⚾️𝐆𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐲/𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 🩵𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 Walker and Farrah were everything I want from a second chance romance. They had a very messy history with unresolved issues and feelings for each other that still lingered after the teases they were apart. The dual timeline helped paint a clear picture of what happened between them when they were younger and how they were handling it now. I liked how it wasn’t easy for them but that there really had to work through all their issues. The tension between them was palpable and felt so real. I definitely felt all the emotions with this one. Farrah’s 2 year old daughter Hadley was the cutest and I just love how she bonded with Walker. She added a sweet touch to this story. I have been really enjoying this series and am finding myself invested in the characters. Brittany set up the next book perfectly andI cannot wait for it!!!
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Fantastic read by Brittany, will be adding more of her books to my tbr.
If you are a lover of sport romances, second chance romance, forced proximity, small town family dynamics, cute nicknames this is the book for you.
Walker and Farrah were childhood sweethearts until they broke up when he was about to make it big.
Now Walker’s back home recuperating after an injury. Farah is redesigning a room at the family business that walkers parents run.
Walker and farah talk about the past and decide to leave it in the past and decide to be friends. But with farah having a potential boyfriend but still having feelings for Walker she’s finding it hard to move on
As Walker and Farah get closer what happens when Farah ends things again when a misunderstanding happens ?
Is it over for them before it’s even started ? Will they get their second chance at love ?
Curveball by Brittany Storm had me giggling, stressed, blushing, and fully invested from start to finish 😩
The second chance romance? TOP TIER. The tension between them was so thick you could literally feel it through the pages, and every little interaction had me kicking my feet waiting for one of them to finally crack. And the spice??? Whew. Brittany absolutely knew what she was doing there because the chemistry was chemistry-ing 👏
But honestly, one of my favorite parts was the setting. As a Texas girl, this book captured the feeling of the Hill Country so perfectly. The small details, the atmosphere, the whole vibe of it…I swear it felt like I was right back home in the Texas Hill Country while reading.
Hot chemistry, emotional history, tension for days, and a setting that made my heart ache in the best way. 🖤
Farrah and Walker have a messy and complicated past that fuels their present lives with fire and confusion. The dual timeline was written perfectly, giving us everything we need in the moment to understand what these two were thinking years ago. I loved how Farrah fought for herself and her happiness along the way, even if it was going to cost her a man. I loved the second chance and how these two never got over each other, which ultimately gave the best tension and chemistry that never parted with them. The family dynamics and meddling were great touches to the story. Then we have two year old Hadley who is adorable and the relationship that blooms between her and Walker is too cute and sweet.
If you love a messy past relationship and a second chance at love then definitely pick this one up.
4.5 stars!
Thank you so much Brittany for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
4⭐️ A small town, second chance story that got me falling for Walker and Farrah from the get go. Walker has always played baseball, it’s all he’s ever known. Then comes the hard decision of choosing between his relationship or his love of baseball. Though it was difficult Farrah decided to follow her dreams and Walker his. They went their own ways but that love never burned out after all those years.
I enjoyed the duo POVs and timelines since it helped in getting a clearer image of what the FMC and MMC were feeling and going through.
I love me a happy ending but it isn’t to say there won’t be hurdles along the way.
If you love small town, second chance story with a baseball player, then you’ll enjoy Curveball!
Releases on June 5th, make sure you snag this one up!! ⚾️💙
WOW, this book was so good! I’m a SUCKER for small towns because that means we usually get quite a few books out of it! Walker and Farrah were meant for each other, right away! They were each other’s soulmate. I couldn’t believe how well that Walker stepped up to the plate with Hadley too! He made the perfect step-dad! I also couldn’t believe that they FINALLY found their way back to each other, but the whole time they acknowledged that they needed that time.
I love horses so much and I was so excited when Hadley got her own pony and how much she got to be around them! Also, the engagement made me cry a little!
I’m very excited for the rest of the series!! Also, the authors writing style was wonderful- it kept me engaged the whole time and made me wanna eat it up! 😊
i love brittany storm and her writing so much. all of her characters always feel so real and relatable. i was so excited for curveball since i’ve finished faults because i loved walker so much. i love second chance romances so much and this one was perfect. getting to see a glimpse of farrah and walkers past and what cause them to split up was so heartbreaking but in the best way because then I was rooting for them even more.
i love that we got to see into walkers head in this book. in faults he was the goofy comedic relief brother but there was so much more to him. i love how much he cares about farrah. their relationship was just perfect and im so happy they got their happy ending!!!
Another hit out of the park with this book! Curveball was such a wonderful story, with characters written so authentically that you feel like you’re right there beside them as friends. I loved seeing how they changed during their years apart, how they grew individually, and how life ultimately gave them a second chance at love.
This book made me want to pack up and move to Texas Hill Country just to step into this charming town and become part of the lives of these captivating characters. Keep up the amazing work, Brittany Storm. I already can’t wait for the next book!
I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review 🫶🏼⚾️
Overall, I give this book 4 stars. I enjoyed seeing the characters get a second chance for their relationship and watching the MMC get a handle on parenthood. I felt like I was physically in the book watching the characters come together and work through the struggles that they were faced with. Though I do feel as though the ending was super rushed, this book was well written. I cannot wait to see who Brittany chooses as the next main characters 🤍
This book was the perfect length and had all my favorite tropes: grumpy x sunshine, a small town filled with meddling folks, and a second chance at love. Who doesn’t love second chances? 🤗
It follows Farrah and Walker, who were high school sweethearts that separated when Walker made it to the Baseball Major Leagues. But sometimes life throws a curveball… and years later, Farrah, newly divorced with a toddler, crosses paths with Walker again after he’s injured and comes back to his hometown to recover. The rest is history! ⚾️🤍
You’ll want to read this to see how their journey goes. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be reading more books by Brittany Storm in the future!
Thank you to Brittany Storm for the ARC opportunity. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Farrah and Walker, where to begin? The chemistry, the yearning; but also the growth, the love and the respect they have for each other after all of the years apart. And the love and passion they still have for their dreams, both together and for their individual careers.
You can feel their love and adoration for each other once they reconnect, I was rooting for them to find each other again since book 1 and the beginning of this book. Not to mention, they both have meddling siblings. The banter throughout this book was impeccable, and I couldn't put it down.
Very lucky to get an arc of this! I know its the second book in the series but I read this one first and had to start the first one AS SOON AS I FINISHED IT. I devoured both books so quickly, I’m obsessed with the James siblings! I loved the flashbacks and how they really added to the ‘second chance love’. If this series continues through the siblings I can see it becoming a big one, it’s a perfect mix of windy city and chestnut springs!
This was such a fun read. The slow burn between Farrah and Walker was top notch. I loved how different their relationship was compared to Dean and Addison from Faults. Their chemistry felt very natural and their inner conflicts felt realistic to their personalities. Sometimes I just wanted to reach through the book and shake them lol. Ultimately, it really felt like they earned their happy ending as well as the readers. Cannot wait for the next!
In this book in Brittany Storm’s Primrose Hill series, we follow Walker and Farrah as they find love again after almost a decade apart. We see each discover truths they were scared to admit and overcome personal struggles.
If you love books with sports, second chances, some spice and top-tier hilarious sibling banter, then this one if for you!
