This book contains some good information, but it gets masked by the horrible story and characters. Every character is annoying and feels fake.

Here's the good information out of the book:

1) Habits take a minimum of 66 days to implement, not 30 like is commonly said (the 30 day rule was taken out of context from the literature it pulled from)

2) 20/20/20 Formula: What to do at 5AM
- 5:00 to 5:20 = Move (Exercise)
- 5:20 to 5:40 = Reflect (Journal/Pray/Meditate/Etc)
- 5:40 to 6:00 = Grow (Learn something)

3) Wind down from electronics two hours before bed to get effective sleep
3b) Create a pre-sleep routine

4) Wake up at 5AM: Allows you to accomplish things before everyone else wakes up, which builds a very strong identity, as well as lets you accomplish goals without worrying about having willpower later in the day. Comes only at the expense of going to bed earlier (before 10), which wasn't a productive part of your day anyway.

Half-decent material (as in missing half the material), well-organized, and very poorly written. Typos, misspellings, missing words, and missing punctuation. 40% of this very short book is promotional materials for the author. I've never seen a book with such an unjustifiably high average review.

Abandoned the Book
Started well, got interesting but then it just got stuck in a rut.
I know it’s a self help book but More than 350 pages of just the importance of getting up at 5am, he just rambles on and on about one thing. As if, if we get up at 5am, everyone will be a millionaire.
It’s too long, boring and the story associated with it is hard to be believable!!
Hence Abandoned

Disappointing

A few good tips, but badly written overall with a lot of redundancy in some sections. Much better resources elsewhere on this subject.

Basic Advice, Poorly Articulated

Whoever wrote this book had a terrible command of the English language and just wanted to make a quick buck off of our collective curiosity. Nothing the book offers is particularly helpful, or in any way novel, though it repeats itself often.
Honestly, I could believe that more time was devoted to finding the cover photo for the book than on any part of the manuscript or editing process. Fortunately, I got this book for free, but if I hadn't I'd be quite upset.

Interesting tips

It started off good then just repeated itself in every chapter. It bounced around as to what to do at 5 AM. it is written by someone that doesn't speak or write English very good. Now with that being said I was able to pick up some tips on getting myself more organized in the morning.

Short book full of great advice.

1. Recognize why it’s a struggle to wake up early
2. List all the reasons waking up early would benefit me
3. Describe the ways my life would change for the better if I was able to wake up earlier
4. Figure out how much sleep I need to avoid a sleep deficit
5. Start bed time routine at the same time every night, end it at the same time every night, and have my head hit the pillow at the same time every night.
6. Practice relaxation techniques to be in a peaceful state before my head hits the pillow (reading, meditating). Avoid stimulation-phone/tv/working out to close to the start of my routine.

I appreciate the efforts of the author,
but the book lacked in content.
Most of the things were dragging repeatedly and the productive content was introduced at large intervals.
It seemed like the author could have done better.
The review for 30 days towards the end was applaudable.
All in all it was a quick read, with little to grasp.

"Never place the alarm device just beside your pillow or on your bed. Because it may have some health related complications."

Aren't I reading the book to know more in the first place?!

I'm sorry, but I have read better self-help answers on Quora!

Good concept, but difficult to read with the grammatical errors, typos, redundancy, vague tips on plan execution and strange phrasing overall.

How you eat will affect how much sleep you need! It's funny but diet is fundamental to Everything in our lifestyle. If you cut back on your sleep for the sake of becoming an early riser but don't improve your diet, you end up functioning counterproductively during the day.

Overall, this book covers the importance of the sleep cycle as it pertains to our circadian rhythm. The author provides holistic suggestions for sleeping better in order to become a productive 5am riser. It doesn't happen overnight, but the transition is well worth it. Early risers and night owl brains are inherently different. What surprised me was the difference in the level of Nerve Energy between the two brain types. Night owls tend to stroll the rest of their day with an energy deficit. The early risers on the other hand, don't experience grogginess when they wake up but feel refreshed. They also are more organized, punctual, focused, and more successful.

It takes a while to get used to the authors style- a story narrative - with his theory along the way. Some will find this really annoying!
Much quotation from learned sources ( not boastful almost)
Basic theory sound - if mornings and productivity are your bag . Much sense, some within context of story a little contradictory or far fetched.
I enjoyed it as a read- as a journey of discovery for our two ‘subjects’ - as a theory I could have done with a summary chapter of key points without the contextualising in narrative.
It’s an easy read and its chapter structure is ‘friendly’ but you need time to get through it- and probs best to read quickly. I did skim over some of the padding….

The book doesn't offer any path braking info. It's all a about waking up early in the morning and doing the things you like most as the first thing will motivate. Planning about the work that you will do early on the morning will also help to reduce distractions. Social sites and phones are big a NO.

A'nt all these rules known to us to increase productivity in daily life ? Still for a beginner its a good book to start with. My rating 3/5.

I regret buying this book from the very first chapter. Weirdly written as a conversation between poorly built characters. The author over-utilises adjectives and his writing style is elementary. Don’t waste your time or money. If you want to get up at 5am, this book won’t help with that!! Buy an alarm clock instead.

Same things repeated again and again, round and and round till the end. Book is all about 3 things, set a routine before sleep, do meditation or listen calm music, don't give stimulation to brain. That's it. You read the whole book.

Gosh this was a short book! I listened to it on the plane from London and it did not convince me much that I need to get up at 5am to get going and be productive in my life. I admire those that can do this; but I need more convincing.

This book was a good and quick reminder/reinforcement for all of the things that I already know to do, but may not be doing as consistently as I would like. There were some reminders of how I can be more efficient with my time. Otherwise, I already do most of these things.
