I have been following Mr. Vinson for many years and enjoyed all of his works. I consider him one of my good friends.
This book, Avenging Dixie has to be the best written book he has ever written. The story is beyond emotional, beyond exciting, beyond mystifying. Yet it is all these things. I won't give away the story, other than to say that it is very engaging, and non-predictable.
The ending occurs simply as it had to. Bittersweet, and yet satisfying. Mr. Vinson follows all the rules of excellent writing with panache, strength, and extreme confidence.
Way to go, Terry!!
