I am loving this pine grove series

Keirnan and Aimee are the sweetest couple ever.

Kiernan is reserved more like an introvert. Their bestie Pamela convinces them to join the pride parade. All while Aimee Walks into the shop new to pine grove she becomes close to both Kiernan and Pamela.

Aimee is new to town getting to know the area. Pamela has an idea for a pride float and Kiernan is questioning how are they’re going to make it happen. Let’s just say Pamela has her ways. Aimee helps and connects with Kiernan.

This novella is super sweet with instant connection and acceptance. Kiernan and Aimee are so adorable together all it took was one first kiss, eating the food they like and the love of art to bring them together.

Richelle wrote this so sweet and tender.

Drawn to You by Rochelle Wolf is another novella addition to the Pride in Pine Grove series. This quick read is a slow, quiet, gentle coming together of two connected individuals in a small Connecticut town where queer flags fly on every corner.
Kiernan is a nonbinary resident who works at a custom frame store that rarely sees a customer. Aimee is new in town and just so happens to need a frame. A meet-cute ensues.
Kiernan isn't really grumpy so much as suffering from a defeatist attitude that has turned them into something of a pessimistic, passive spectator to their own life. Meeting Aimee in the shop is the most exciting thing to happen to them in quite a while. Aimee is a ray of sunshine, and I appreciate her body confidence.
They become quick friends and then something more. There is supportive found family and a fun Pride parade. The ending is nice but anticlimactic.
Overall, the story was sweet but not super interesting. Sometimes, though, it is nice to read about ordinary people in ordinary circumstances finding one another and finding joy in the simple things. In that vein, the story is believable and encouraging.

Drawn To You is a short novella that gives a glimpse into the everyday lives of some of the residents of Pine Grove, a queer small town. There is neurodivergent and nonbinary rep in this sweet closed door romance.

Kiernan is nonbinary and works at a custom frame shop that rarely sees a customer. So they are completely taken by surprise and smitten when Aimee walks in to buy a frame. Aimee is new to town as she was looking for somewhere more affordable to live. She quickly makes friends with Kiernan and Kiernan’s best friend Pamela.

Kiernan seems to be the type who immediately falls for someone as she is completely enamored by Aimee. Thankfully this is a romance so the attraction is mutual. I didn’t find myself that invested in the story or romance but overall it was very low angst and sweet. While I do love a good spicy scene it was refreshing to read something with implied but not open door spice.

Rochelle Wolf continues to hone her craft and there were some moments of beautiful prose in this book. For me this was a 3.5 stars read. Thank you for the ARC.

THIS IS A SHORT AND SWEET ROMANCE..... AT ONLY 85 PAGES ONE COULD SIZE IT UP AS A BITE. PINE GROVE IS VERY MUCH THE QUEER NORMATIVE COMMUNITY WE SHOULD ALL BE STRIVING TO BE.

KIERNAN- WORKS IN A CUSTOM FRAMES SHOP, THEY LOVE VANILLA SCENTS. HAD GIVEN UP ON ROMANCE. (AUTISTIC REP!!) AND OVERTHINKING IS THEIR THING. THEY CARRY A LOT OF SHAME FROM BEING REJECTED AND NOT JUST FROM RELATIONSHIPS BUT FROM ART SCHOOLS.

AIMEE- NEEDS A CUSTOM FRAME FOR HER DIPLOMA, AND HAPPENS TO SMELL OF VANILLA AND IS FULL OF ROMANCE. SHE SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING IN KIERNAN’S MIND AND HOW TO CALM IT DOWN.

ADD IN A PRIDE PARADE AND A SLEW OF OTHER CHARACTERS AND SOME WEIRDNESS OF DROPPING WALLS AND PAST TIDBITS? ITS ALL ABOUT THE BISEXUAL COUCH ISN’T IT?

ROCHELLE IS AN EPIC AUTHOR WHO WRITES SAPPHIC ROMANCES BRILLIANTLY. I HOPE TO OWN ALL OF THEIR WORKS ON MY SHELVES.

Drawn to You: A Pride in Pine Grove Novella by Rochelle Wolf

Kiernan lives in a monotonous small town. They have a job working at a framing store. Not the avenue to becoming a better artist as they had hoped since the artist owners, like everyone else, never come into the store. Everyday Kiernan closes the store for a short lunch and heads over to the local gay bar Connecticlit, owned by their best friend Pamela, where they eat the same thing.

That is until Aimee walks in looking for a frame for her diploma to match the decor in her new home. Kiernan falls at first sight.

This novella is a beautiful depiction of how seeing the mundane and repetitiveness of everyday small town life through the eyes of someone new can help you appreciate what you have always taken for granted. It is a lovely affirmation of queer identity and a sweet sapphic love story.

If you enjoy queer characters, a closed door sapphic love story and a close up look at small town life, this one is for you.

This book is a truly heartwarming, low-drama romance set in the wonderfully inclusive queer community of Pine Grove. It follows Kiernan, a reserved nonbinary artisan, and Aimee, who's new to town and looking for a fresh start. Their sweet connection blossoms organically while they work on a Pride parade float alongside their energetic best friend, Pamela.

Wolf does an incredible job of crafting a tender, emotionally rich story, showcasing authentic neurodivergent and nonbinary representation. It's a closed door romance, with all the focus on genuine intimacy and affection rather than explicit scenes, which felt incredibly refreshing.

Even though it's part of a series, it reads perfectly as a standalone. If you're looking for a feel-good book that leaves you with a warm glow, this is an absolute gem.

For me, this was a humble, gentle love story—one that unfolds quite naturally, evolving from tentative, sweet overtures into something beautiful and warm.
Kiernan, they/them and Aimee, she/her are drawn to one another, finding each other fascinating and intriguing.
While Kiernan wonders why someone as wonderful and interesting as Aimee would show even the slightest interest in them, it is crystal clear to Aimee.
The two find their place in unexpected ways and allow themselves to be happy in Pine Grove.
As the fifth book in the series—and the third I’ve read so far—it was a sweet addition that fits in beautifully.

Aww. This was a sweet cozy quick read! Thank you to the author for an advance review copy for free. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is my fourth book in the series and I love Pine Grove! It may be a small town but is it welcoming and all the people I’ve ‘met’ have been kind and open.

Told in Kiernan’s pov, they are feeling stagnant, probably bored and kind of lonely too. When their routine is interrupted by Aimee, they just may find more than they thought they wanted. Kiernan had a sweet little arc and I could (and would) read more of both them and Aimee and the cozy romance they developed.

A well written story. No stress, just peace and beauty.

Our main character is a non binary person, and i can only imagine that this specific story will settle well in the hearts of non binary people. There is no fuss, no judgement, no trial to overcome.

A human being finds love with another human being. Our characters are allowed to just be. The main character doesnt have a fancy job, but they have a stable and steady job, and a whole lot of love, platonic (and now romantic) and indulge their passion for art.

Rochelle Wolf always brings you a well written story with heart.

This was another brilliant story in the Pride in Pine Grove series. This follows Aimee and Kiernan and both their paths to love and accepting themselves again. Who knew a diploma frame could help you find love..... I love the supportive community they have, the friends that help. Kiernan was out of the game a little but she got the help she needed to flirt lol. An amazing book 10/10 would recommend

with this short and sweet, closed door, grumpy/sunshine, summery read.

it really is pretty simple. aimee is new to town and comes into the frame shop that keirnan works at to, well, buy a frame. they continue running into each other. they get to know each other slowly.

I'm such a sucker for a small-town sapphic read, and this one was great! I could really imagine myself in the settings, and living in the town. I really enjoyed the importance this story gave to friendships, to belonging, and finding your joy. A great quick read, I haven't picked up the rest of the series, but I'm very intrigued!
