ARC Review — thank you to the author for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
Bloodless was such a fun, quick read! This was my first M/M romance as well as my first vampire x human romance, so I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect going in—but I ended up really enjoying it.
The friends-with-benefits setup immediately pulled me in, especially with the rules that were put in place to keep things from becoming anything more. But obviously… feelings don’t exactly care about rules. 😂 Watching their relationship slowly shift from something casual into something deeper was probably one of my favorite parts. You could feel the connection building between them, even when they were trying to keep things strictly within the boundaries they had created.
And the spice? 👀🔥 Definitely a nice bonus.
Since this is a novella, everything moves pretty quickly, and I did find myself wishing there was a little more time to explore the characters and their relationship. But considering the length, I think the author did a great job packing in romance, tension, spice, secrets, and a little bit of chaos.
And that secret toward the end?! 👀 I definitely had questions, and I loved seeing how everything came together.
Overall, Bloodless was a really enjoyable first M/M and vampire x human read for me. It was short, spicy, entertaining, and left me curious to see what V. Jadav writes next!
This was a good read for me,not fantastic, but definitely not bad either. A solid 3.5 stars.
What I liked: I really enjoyed the wording and the pacing. The book moved quite fast, which kept me engaged, and I especially loved the brotherhood between the MC and the other characters.
One thing I really appreciated was how realistically the book portrayed Indian parents and their reactions toward same-sex relationships and coming out. That part felt very true to reality, and I liked that it wasn't portrayed in an overly idealised way.
And honestly, the spice/smut was probably my favourite part. I would give it 3/5 🌶️. Just enough to add something without taking over the story.
What didn't work for me:
The ending was probably the biggest issue for me. It felt too abrupt, almost like the story just stopped rather than actually ending. I wanted a little more resolution and a stronger sense of satisfaction when I reached the final page.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and fast-paced 105 pages read with some genuinely good elements, but the lack of closure and the abrupt ending kept it from being a higher rating for me.

Blood Lust was my first book by V. Jadav, and definitely NOT my last! 🩸❤️
This was such a quick, addictive read that I finished it in one sitting! At only 105 pages, this book packs in lust, vampires, found family, and MM romance with a human—and somehow still had me completely invested! 😍
Om comes out to his parents and is rejected, leaving him feeling alone and lost. Then he meets Blayze, a vampire who crosses paths with him at a bar and ends up changing his life for the better. 🖤
Their connection was EVERYTHING! The chemistry, the found-family vibes, and the way their relationship unfolded had me completely hooked.
If you’re looking for a short, spicy, paranormal MM romance that you can devour in one sitting, definitely add this one to your TBR! 🧛♂️🔥

I loved this book. It's a short quick read and I kept finding myself wishing it was longer because I wanted to be able to continue with the story and the characters. I picked it up right before bed and said I'll get started tonight, but it ended up sucking me in and I finished it in one go. The lost sleep was worth it. I'm hoping this turns into a series because now I'm hooked and want to know if the other brothers find their match too. This is just what I needed to get out of my little slump. It was fast paced but you end up falling for both Om and Blayze. For its size, this book has it all. There is action, adventure, paranormal, love, and spice. Great book to use as a pallet cleanser and get you into the mood for more.
If enjoy a paranormal spin...but add some spice and make it MM then this just might be what you're looking for. In this story you will meet Blayze our leading bad boy who always looking for good time not a long time and ofcourse no strings attached, well that's until he meets the ever so sweet Om and lets just say Blayze is just what Om needs these days a little excitement mixed with awhole lot of spicy. Oh yeah did i mention that one of them is keeping a secret? I enjoy this story and enjoying being able to read it fully before bed. While I'd love to share more about Blayze and Om's journey i would hate spoil it, so dive in and enjoy the ride.
Really enjoyed the relationship that was built between Om and Blayze. The self discovery and journey into who Om is and Blayze being there for him, and being the best teacher. And the smut? 🥵🥵 He may have wanted just one night, but one taste and our boy was HOOOKED. 😏😏 One night was never going to be enough for Blayze.
I loved the found family aspect and really hope we get more books in this universe cause I'm soooo curious about the rest of them and their backstory.
For it only being this authors second book it was good. If it had been a little longer and a little less rushed I felt at the end it could have made it to 5 stars.
I just felt it was a nice pace of them being friends with benefits to suddenly more. I did kinda get why but in my opinion it could have been spaced out more.
I would love for Om and Blayze to get a second book. With them navigating their new life or at least the other guys getting books with these 2 as side characters.
I don’t often do supernatural books but I like a little something different once in a while.
What a great short paranormal dark romance! After meeting at a bar, Blayze and Om enter a whirlwind friends with benefits situation. Blayze is secretive about his past, due to being a vampire. Om tries to pry but Blayze keeps shutting him down. Enter a few unexpected twists and chaos follows! I loved their romance! Im very excited to see what else is coming next 💞 Would highly recommend this for a quick exciting dark romance!
Blayze has been a vampire for 150 years. Om is exploring his sexuality after being kicked out by how parents.
Found family. The characters discovering themselves while trying to navigate through changes in life.
This book was just too short, a few more chapters and i likely would have given it 5 stars. As it started getting really good, it was over. I can't wait to see what comes next!
Honestly, this book hit all the right plot points for a novella! It did feel a tiny bit rushed at times, but not enough to take away from how much I enjoyed it. I really loved the characters, but om was definitely my favorite. 🖤 I also really loved that this book didn’t lean into all the same old vampire stereotypes. It gave the story a little something different, and overall it was such a fun read!
Firstly, thank you to the author for providing me with an Advanced Reader Copy
I DEVOURED this book more than the MMCs devoured each other 🤭 I drank it up and was left needing more.
This books was a beautiful shade of crimson red wrapped up in vampires and monster lore. The intro to the clan and the world was written in a way that tells you just enough to leave you patiently on your knees waiting for more.
For being a shorter story, I feel like I really was able to in a way understand and get to know the main characters. I also enjoyed the way that the main characters were with one another. Another thing that shocked me was the amount of spice that is in this story. The amount of spice in the book didn’t throw me off nor seemed to take away from the storyline. I loved seeing the characters raise each other up and cause them to be more confident and feel like themself.
Definitely a one sit reading book! Unfortunately, life happens so I couldn’t do one sitting but absolutely one sitting book for any quick reads. I would said the first half is all smut and the last half is plot but it work out well for me at least. It’s a fast past book. It will feel slow in the beginning (maybe the first two chapters?) but it picks up quick. I quite enjoy it myself.
Bloodlust was such a quick and cute world building vampire story. We have found family in the Blood Brothers, built community, and love. Blayze and Om's strangers to lovers to boyfriend was fantastic or should I say fangtastic 😉
Definitely recommend for a light read to add to your reading count for the year!
This was a really great and quick read. I loved OM and Blayze. Loved the storyline in this as well. I’m always up for a great vampire story and this didn’t disappoint. I loved the way these two connected. It was fun and sweet. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer. I could’ve really gotten lost in this one.
This book was amazing! I love a good queer romance and this one was for the most part realistic to modern day standards. I enjoyed that it was nicely written and we were given back story and character development throughout the novella! I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars!
This isn't really the style of book I normally read but I thought it was kind of cute and has potential to be expanded upon. It was a nice short read and I finished it in one sitting.
It was a really good short read and I hope to get more of the Blood Brothers. Sometimes love finds us when we think all we want is a fun time. Om found a family in the least likely places and showed Blayze that you can trust after you've been hurt.
This book was so good! It was a five star read. I recommend reading if you love reading MM Romance and Paranormal Romance. I love Om and Blayze’s relationship in this book. They are so cute!
Fast MM romance Awesome fast paced vampire MM romance. Intriguing twist to the vampire lore. Loved the relationship between Blayze and Om. Loved this story.
This is a very short novella, everything seemed abit rushed for me. I feel like I would have loved it so much more with more plot into the book. But the characters are adorable!
