In this world, we really don’t have to look very far to find someone who is hurting in some way. It isn’t too hard to find a human who has been hurt by another human, often in deep, disturbing and damaging ways.
This is a book about ministering to those people - the abused.
Stephanie Mayberry, author of "My Story is not Unique," writes with raw honesty and clarity about penetrating the world of the battered spirit. Through this spirit-filled journey, she outlines practical, real ways to reach the abused and lead them to Jesus.
Stephanie A. Mayberry is an author and freelance writer. As a pastor’s wife, she serves alongside her husband who is the pastor of Torah Observant Apostolics, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They are both ordained through Covenant Apostolic Congregations International (CACI).
She writes primarily for adult and young adult audiences in addition to teaching Bible studies and preaching and teaching to various groups. She also creates children’s Bible lessons and activities that she makes available for free via Sabbath Kids, the children’s ministry for Torah Observant Apostolics.
Stephanie is involved in several ministries, including spiritual warfare and deliverance, healing from trauma, and ministering to adults and families on the autism spectrum (through her blog, The Christian Aspie, and several books she has written about being a believer with Asperger’s Syndrome). However, she is particularly focused on supporting and encouraging women in ministry.
Stephanie uses her personal experiences with domestic violence to minister to people who have been through abuse and help them find healing through Yeshua.
