About the author

Søren Sveistrup is an internationally acclaimed scriptwriter of the Danish television phenomenon The Killing which won various international awards and sold in more than a hundred countries. More recently, Sveistrup wrote the screenplay for Jo Nesbø's The Snowman.

Sveistrup obtained a Master in Literature and in History from the University of Copenhagen and studied at the Danish Film School. He has won countless prizes, including an Emmy for Nikolaj and Julie and a BAFTA for The Killing.

Cuando digo que quiero un thriller policial adictivo, esto es EXACTAMENTE a lo que me refiero.

Hace unos días me terminé este libro, la segunda parte de El Caso Hartung (una de mis mejores lecturas del 2024) y go-cé

Obviamente venía con expectativas por el primer libro, y siento que acá el autor me dio lo que estaba buscando:

1. Una trama muy oscura con los que son, a mi gusto, los mejores personajes del primer libro:

Vuelven los dos inspectores principales pero ahora para descubrir a un asesino que parece estar jugando a un tétrico juego de escondite con sus víctimas.

2. Un misterio fuerte que te hace dudar de todos, pero absolutamente TODOS los personajes.

3. Y capítulos en que se van tejiendo con una tensión que es unica.

En todos hay mini revelaciones que van apuntando al culpable y yo al menos tenia siempre ganas de más. Se podría decir que literal el libro no te deja soltarlo.

Ahora, dos peros que tienen relación con el primer libro:

- Igual que con El Caso Hartung adiviné al culpable (sin entender el motivo ni nada, solo por tincada), pero igual (y muy enserio lo digo) me encantó ver como se iba mostrando toda la verdad. Especialmente porque creo que la última parte no tienes idea que va a pasar con los inspectores (no voy a decir nada más jaja).

- Me parece que el final no fue tan satisfactorio como el de Hartung. Creo que esto tiene que ver con la naturaleza del crimen y porque el primer libro tenia un toque más emotivo en ese sentido (casi que lloré en la última parte de ese libro jajaja).

Esto es hilando demasiaaaaaado fino y con mucha exigencia jajaja, porque creo que si te gustó el primer libro te vas a la segura con el segundo.

Siempre es un agrado cuando las segundas partes no hacen justicia a las primeras, y siendo ese el caso (en mi opinión) este libro merece 5 estrellas.

A cinematic masterpiece of Scandinavian noir, Hide and Seek’s slow-burning suspense made it into a captivating thrill ride of complex plotting, oppressive tension, and suspicious characters that I couldn’t put down. You see, with an unforgettable crime-fighting duo complete with natural-feeling chemistry and savvy police skills, I couldn’t help but root for them both from beginning to end of this gripping tale. The storyline, though, was what made me fall in love with the novel hook, line, and sinker. Darker than dark and chillingly true-to-life, the two parts of the onion-like stalker-slash-serial killer plot highlighted not only the police procedural side, but gave heart-pounding thriller vibes as well. Through two twisting plot lines and multiple POVs, a riveting mix of dark secrets, long-buried trauma, and a race against time all came together into a story that blew me away. I mean, I read most of it in one single sitting despite it’s length.

I do have to say that the start of this 550+ page novel was rather slow going initially. Steadily digging into the modern-day case of stalked women, the layered clues delivered a well-executed shocker as a cold case entered the frame. That being said, I did guess the culprit just a tad early. Don’t take that the wrong way. I was absolutely thrilled that I put the pieces together just right. After all, this tightly plotted puzzle had an entire cast of suspects to choose from as well as a twisty premise of believable events. So as long as you’re a fan of slow, immersive procedurals with thrilling scenes, haunting psychological depth, and rich Nordic atmosphere, this book is for you. Perfect for fans of Jo Nesbø, Karin Slaughter, or The Killing, it was one heck of an intense rollercoaster ride of nightmarish chills that I utterly loved. Bravo, Mr. Sveistrup, you’ve now got yourself a brand-spanking-new fan right here! Rating of 5 stars.

Am început „Cine nu e gata…” cu așteptări foarte mari, pentru că „Omul de castane” a fost una dintre cele mai bune lecturi thriller pe care le-am descoperit în ultimii ani. Mă bucur că Søren Sveistrup a ales să continue universul construit în primul roman și să îi aducă din nou în prim-plan pe detectivii Naia Thulin și Mark Hess, două personaje pe care am ajuns să le îndrăgesc și să le urmăresc cu interes. Încă din primele pagini am simțit aceeași atmosferă apăsătoare, același sentiment că pericolul pândește la fiecare pas și că nimeni nu este cu adevărat ceea ce pare.

Segunda novela que leo del autor. "El caso Hartung" me gustó mucho. Esta ha supuesto el reencuentro con Thulin y Hess. No me ha gustado tanto como la primera, pero sí me ha tenido bastante intrigada.

La trama es interesante y engancha. La investigación se desgrana de forma natural sin golpes de efecto, pero sin fisuras. El ritmo, en general, es el típico del thriller nórdico, aunque en ocasiones se ralentiza en exceso. Los giros no son excesivos y están bien colocados. No es una novela que se autodescubra demasiado, pero sí intuí más pronto que tarde la identidad del quién. Creo que los lectores habituales de negra hemos desarrollado un sexto sentido al respecto.

Los personajes, viejos conocidos que a veces me han resultado irreconocibles. Con Hess he tenido altibajos y Thulin en esta entrega está especialmente cerril sin que se justifique el porqué salvo para dilatar la resolución del caso. Eso me chirrió.

El desenlace gana en ritmo y es correcto.

¿Y los peros?

La trama en sí me tuvo muy enganchada. Sin embargo es demasiado prolija en detalles y contiene partes sobre la vida personal de los personajes que ralentizan sin aportar nada. Le sobran unas cuantas páginas. A veces menos es más.

Lo de los móviles (sin batería, cargador o apagados en momentos cruciales), en este tipo de novela da para escribir otro libro.

En conclusión. Un thriller nórdico de trama que engancha y entretiene. En su contra que le sobran páginas. Aun así recomendable.

Count up to one and count up to two … a game of hide and seek ends in horror for a group of children and their teachers on a day trip from a children’s home.
February 2025.
“Count to six, right after five. Will little Silje get home alive?”
This anonymous text is sent to Silje Thomsen’s phone and sends her into a frantic spiral. As the threats worsen and become a terrifying reality Detective Naia Thulin and Raheem at the National Cyber Crime Centre, a section of the National Special Crime Unit in a Copenhagen suburb, investigate the text messages which bear a striking resemblance to another case. Mark Hess is called in and he and Thulin are on the case, if somewhat reluctantly. Can they track down the elusive brutal killer before they strike again?

It’s not often the case that I remember books as clearly as the super creepy Chestnut Man, so the follow-up is a cause of much eager anticipation. Whilst I don’t think it’s quite as chilling, it certainly has numerous moments of chill, plenty of tension and suspense in this desperate race against time. At times it’s a buckle up rollercoaster as the plot becomes more intense and dramatic. The old rhyme is enough to send shivers down the spine without the ensuing events. There’s a continuous sense of awful anticipation, aided by the countdown as you wait for the next horror from this cold blooded and determined killer.

Whilst it’s quite long and detailed,this being the Scandinavian way, the pace is consistently brisk throughout. It has multiple twists, it’s rich in the atmosphere of a snowy Danish winter which matches the cold heart of the perpetrator whose identity is elusive. The whole thing is wrapped around the dynamics of Thulin and Hess whose determination to solve the case is admirable. The ending is excellent as I’m on the edge of my seat.

Overall, this is a very good thriller and a worthy sequel which is not necessary to have read but it is well worth picking up. I do hope to read more about this pair and their investigations in the future. Recommended especially for fans of Scandi Noir.

Søren Sveistrup is the Danish creator of the Danish hit television show “The Killing”, which won several international awards and is being made into a Netflix series. He also wrote the screenplay for the movie, “The Snowman”, based on Jo Nesbo’s Harry Hole popular detective mystery series. Back in 2019, he wrote and published “The Chestnut Man” to much fanfare, and it became an international bestseller and a Netflix hit show.

It’s been a while, six years’ worth, waiting for another novel from Sveistrup. Well, we finally have it in 2026. “Hide and Seek” is his follow-up novel, and another psychological thriller that brings back his two detectives Naia Thulin and Mark Hess to work on a new cold case. I am for one am thrilled to read another book by Sveistrup after thoroughly enjoying his prior one which had so many great elements in it, including intricate and detailed plotting, a complex puzzling mystery, and enough shocks and thrills to satisfy even the most seasoned reader.

The question I asked myself as I began reading “Hide and Seek” was whether this one live up to the same level of enjoyment that his last book provided?

The answer is simple. A resounding yes!

Sveistrup delivers another slow-burning Scandinavian detective-based thriller with a 30-year-old mystery that reasserts itself in the current day.

The book kicks off with a school class fieldtrip in 1992 that ends with the discovery of a murdered boy in the countryside woods along with a cuckoo chick that has been cut to threads.

Then jumping to present day 2025, we are reintroduced to Detectives Naia Thulin and Mark Hess, who left on bad terms following their work on solving “The Chestnut Man” murders. Naia is a single mother with a young daughter, currently working as a member of the Copenhagen Task Force, focusing on Cybercrimes. One of her team members gets her involved in a missing woman’s case on Valentine’s Day that is involved in a very messy and anger-filled divorce.

Searching the files on her computer lead Naia to believe that not only was the woman being stalked, but it has also eerily similar elements of a previous unsolved case involving the murder of a 19-year-old student. The stalker starts with sending text pictures taken of the victim in public places with the word “Gotcha!” attached to them. Over time the texts amplify until one day they turn into the elements from the classic children’s game of hide and seek - “Count to one, count to two…”

Before she knows what’s happening, another person going through a contentious divorce receives the same texts and goes missing. Naia’s discovery of a killer on the loose demands that the Copenhagen police force take immediate action, and Naia finds herself temporarily on loan back to the Homicide department, which is run by the selfish and political-minded, Supervisor Nylander, who still hasn’t gotten over the way that she and Hess embarrassed him with solving the previous Chestnut murders.

Nylander wants to take advantage of the situation to turn his negative image around. Now that he has Naia back, he also pulls in Mark Hess, Europol investigator, to assist in finding the killer. Nylander’s strategy is to use Naia and Mark with the intent of discover the identity of their Hide and Seek killer before he or she strikes again. And then he will be able to take credit for leading the investigation and get his reputation back.

However, unknown to Nylander and Naia, is the true reason for Hess being in Copenhagen with time available to assist them is due to a personal family need that is tearing him apart. His brother is in the hospital fighting for his life, and Hess is just doing all that he can to hold things together. This distraction is keeping him from being able to focus enough on the clues that don’t make sense to him, and the tension with Naia is making working together an almost impossible reality.

I thoroughly enjoyed this read. I loved the atmospheric feeling of constant tension that permeated throughout every page. Just like his previous book, Sveistrup’s is not afraid to be bold in his storytelling, taking command and pulling the reader along with commanding ease. His plotting is intricate, complex, and rich. He moves back and forth between the different points-of-view in a fluid and smooth manner, laying out clues like the slow and deliberate peeling of an onion. I am sure others have mentioned this already, but he reminds a lot of Stieg Larsson’s style of pacing and rhythm in storytelling, as well as Jo Nesbo’s structure in developing a strong and layered mystery. Chapters are short and focused, in a staccato like cadence, never letting things slow down.

In contrast to his strong plotting and story development, Sveistrup’s characters are interesting and have depth. Naia and Mark are compelling, full of conflict, and flaws. Their passion for being investigators drive them too hard and cause them to be pulled away from family and relationships needed to balance them. Their flaws and challenges make them real and relatable. Hess is also complex and interesting. His analytical abilities draw you in and keep you interested in what he is going to do next. And even Supervisor Nylander, who seems to start off with a primary focus on providing conflict for the detectives, grows into a strong selfish role as an obstructive foil. If there is a weakness, it is that Naia still comes across a bit cliched at times. She pushed forward hard and is extremely task-focused on whatever is in front of her, but it seems like she needs to stop and think about the clues and next steps before running off half-cocked. It’s hard not to feel bad for her current love interest, Bjorn, who seems like a really nice guy.

In addition to Naia and Mark, the other central characters are also multi-dimensional and authentic. Marie Holst, her husband, and two sons, help drive the plot forward in a serious way that shows how a family suffering serious loss is torn apart and each one suffers on an individual level in a way we cannot imagine. He shows how that pain and negative impact of divorcing parents is forced on and carried by the children. A huge price that has to be paid by someone.

I was also personally and emotionally drawn to Mark’s dealing with his brother’s living an alcoholic lifestyle, and the negative physical impact as a result of that. Seeing Mark reflect back on his closest relationship was heartbreaking.

Sveistrup masterfully uses the mystery/thriller genre as his creative canvas, displaying an incredibly perceptive and detailed mindset that shines through the plotting. There is murky, vivid darkness that permeate almost every scene and overall tone of the book. He pulls no punches in how he tells his story. The pacing was brisk, the dialog distinctive, and the buildup to a multi-layered whodunit payoff is full of surprising twists and emotional turns.

Honestly, this was a hard book to put down. It was engrossing - gave me chills and kept me up at night. Sveistrup writes like an experienced professional - confident and unrepentant. There are many things I loved about it, especially it’s intricacy and detailed plotting.

Overall, Sveistrup delivers a second extraordinary novel that brilliantly blends harrowing psychological suspense, a devilishly puzzling mystery, and enough shocks and thrills to satisfy even the most seasoned reader. A prime example of Scandinavian detective/thriller at it’s best. Just be warned that it includes graphic depictions of violence that may make some readers queasy or put them off.

Много, много добър трилър с майсторски барнат и хубаво засукан финален обрат. Е, имаше тук-там нелепици, в името на моментните развръзки, като например едни внезапно скъсали се свински опашки, ама наистина, ей така от въздуха; затварям си леко очите и за направо магическите хакерски умения на убиеца, дето скриха шапката дори на международните киберексперти, но в крайна сметка не ни беше обяснено как точно са придобити... Здраве да е - забавлявах се на макс, а за мен, четящият за удоволствие и разтуха, именно това е главното.

Срещнах из форумите някои коментари, че книгата е мудна, особено в първите тристатина страници, но аз не я усетих така - факт, Свайструп плавно, бавно и методично въвежда читателя в историята, припомня му старите познайници, включва новите действащи лица и наглед не бърза заникъде, обаче отделните случаи/убийства, подреждащи психопатския пъзел на серийния килър, бяха достатъчно интересно представени, та дори за миг не изпитах скука или отегчение.

Dacă m-ar fi întrebat cineva ce părere am despre carte după 100 și ceva de pagini, aș fi zis că sunt dezamăgită până în măduva oaselor și că nu înțeleg ce a pățit autorul de a putut să scrie așa o plictiseală de carte. La final, recunosc că abia așteptam să îmi retrag cuvintele.

Așa cum am zis și despre ,,Omul de castane", așa ar trebui să arate un crime bun. Să îți ridice tot părul de pe ceafă, să te duca pe enșpe mii de scenarii false, să te facă să dai pagină după pagină și să stai până la 4 dimineața ca să afli cine este criminalul.

Mi-a plăcut să mă reîntâlnesc cu personajele principale din primul volum, dar am urât drama creată în jurul lor, fiind partea cea mai insipidă din cuprinsul cărții. E clar că autorul știe să scrie crime, dar la capitolul romance, mai bine rămâne pe crime. Am avut și personaje insipide, pe Marie si Budtz, pe care nu le-am suportat absolut deloc, mai ales pe Marie, pe care am judecat-o incredibil pe tot parcursul lecturii. Poliția mi s-a părut la fel ca data trecută, ca o oaie capie gata să accepte orice soluție ca fiind soluționarea cazului.

Poate experiența din ,,Omul de castane" sau poate că am mai citit și alte cărți de gen m-au făcut să gândesc out of the box și să dibuiesc într-o listă de trei potențiali criminali care este cel real, dar nu m-a făcut decât să mi se pară și mai nebunesc scenariul. Am apreciat și temele abordate, scenele greu de digerat, dar care au creat întreaga atmosferă a cărții.

Nu cred că mai e cazul să spun că recomand acest volum din toată inima și că urcă în topul celor mai bune crime-uri citite, alături de celălalt volum al autorului, ,,Cutia" și ,,Omul de zăpadă ". ❤️

La historia me ha gustado. La cantidad de páginas de relleno, no.
La trama se centra en unos mensajes de acoso que terminan en muertes violentas. Un caso de hace unos años (el caso Holst) tiene mucho que ver. Nos encontramos de nuevo con la inspectora Thulin y el inspector Hess y su complicada relación. Aquí empieza el problema de las páginas de relleno. El hermano de Hess y sus dolencias llenan hojas y hojas que se hacen eternas. Me parece bien que se intente humanizar a los personajes. Pero esto es excesivo. Ralentizan mucho la historia principal.
Lo mismo ocurre con la cantidad de hojas dedicadas a la madre de la familia Holst. Hay un exceso de paja.
Por lo demás es un thriller al uso con una buena historia y un final trepidante y adecuado.

Всеки един сезон е подходящ за смразяващ кръвта скандинавски трилър! Ако се случи да четете такъв трилър през зимата , то дългите тъмни вечери ще допринесат за по-атмосферното въздействие на случващото се, а ако го четете през изпепеляващо лято , както се случи с мен и „Игра на криеница“, то със сигурност няма да имате нужда от климатик!
Книгата е страхотна не, ами страховита! Бях харесала как пише Свайструп още от „Кестеновия човек“ и с радост мога да кажа, че и във втората си книга държи високото ниво на напрежение и съспенс! Тук отново се срещаме с познатите ни герои Ная Тулин и Марк Хес. Този път обаче те са по следите на ловък и интелигентен сериен убиец, който има слабост към детските броилки и играта на криеница. Какво е общото между 19-годишна гимназистка, четиридесет и няколко годишна жена в процес на развод, високоплатен адвокат на средна възраст и друга жена, живееща с партньорката си, освен факта, че всички те са били следени от неуловим психопат , получавали са странни анонимни съобщения на телефоните си с техни снимки и стихчета от детски броилки и че всички те са намирани зверски убити и с разчленени тела? Историята е така добре заплетена, че почти до финала читателят е в напрежение и гадае кой е мистериозният убиец?
Историята ми хареса и давам оценка от 5* с една-единствена малка забележка – в един момент усетих, че ми натежа обемът, но пък наистина нямаше слаби места! Традиционен скандинавски трилър: абсолютно реалистичен, мрачен, почти на ръба на депресията, последователен, линеен разказ, сурова природа и брутално-кървави престъпления!

Мислех си, че “Кестеновия човек” е един от най-добрите криминални романи(с елементи на трилър), които съм чела, но “Игра на криеница” надмина всичките ми очаквания.
Авторът отново ни среща с Ная Тулин и Марк Хес, за да се впуснем в още по-интригуващо разследване на още по-шокиращи престъпления.
Сьорен Свайструп изгражда брилянтно както сюжета, така и всеки един нов персонаж и всяка една нишка в плетеницата от престъпления. Сюжетните линии се преплитат постепенно. С всяка една глава се разкриват и мотивите на убиеца. С всяка страница сякаш сме по-близо до истината, но пък знаем, че нещо важно ни убягва и така постепенно всяко едно малко парченце от пъзела си идва на мястото в точното време.
Докато тече разследването се засягат много сериозни и важни теми като загубата на близък човек, травмите, които се нанасят в ранна детска възраст, последствията от изневярата, но най-силно се откроява значимостта на семейството като ценност.
В “Игра на криеница” обаче не липсват и обрати. Сьорен Свайструп определено знае как да държи читателя на тръни до последната страница и как да ти спира дъха(и буквално и преносно) 😬

Dacă v-a plăcut Omul de castane înseamnă că trebuie să adăugați cartea aceasta pe listă.

Mi-a plăcut, m-a ținut în suspans dar ceva m-a oprit din a oferi 5⭐️.
O investigație intensă, crime și detalii tulburătoare, un joc de-a v-ați ascunselea și bucăți din viața personală a celor doi detectivi.

Приятен криминален трилър с добра плътност, емоционалност и човешка страна на героите.
Хареса ми динамиката и темпото, с което се развиваше историята. Някои елементи от действията на отрицателните персонажи се насложиха малко неестествено и неразбираемо. Създаде се и усещане за неизявен главен герой, което разнообрази сюжета в положителен аспект.

Le sobran como 200 páginas. Me salieron sobrando muchas cosas. La historia principal no está mal y al final, a pesar de escenas predecibles, pues hubo algo de acción y suspenso que nivelaron la trama.

Een gescheiden vrouw wordt op een besneeuwde Valentijnsdag in Kopenhagen als vermist opgegeven door haar dochter en ex-man.

Na haar laatste grote moordzaak is rechercheur Naia Thulin gaan werken in NC3, het National Cyber Crime Center, om meer tijd te hebben voor haar nieuwe vriend en familie, maar ze wordt bij toeval op de vermissingszaak gezet.

Thulin wordt bij het onderzoek gekoppeld aan onderzoeker Mark Hess. Als blijkt dat de moordenaar een wel heel sadistisch spel speelt, zetten ze hun verschillen zo goed als mogelijk aan de kant en werken ze samen.

Dan verdwijnt er opnieuw iemand. Een race tegen de klok begint en Thulin en Hess moeten, onder grote druk, proberen te voorkomen dat er nog meer slachtoffers vallen.

'Koekoeksjong' begint met een inleiding in het jaar 1992 en dit zorgt al meteen voor een zieke en brute sfeer. Vervolgens maak je een sprong naar het heden, maar je weet dat de gebeurtenis uit 1992 alles te maken heeft met het begin van een hoop ellende.

In het heden lees je over een nieuw slachtoffer en de spannig is meteen enorm goed voelbaar. Ik werd hierdoor dan ook ontzettend enthousiast (eigenlijk al vanaf de inleiding) en wilde erg graag verder lezen.

Dan maak je kennis met rechercheur Thulin en onderzoeker Hess. Dit zijn erg fijne personages en je leest steeds meer over hun onderlinge verstandshouding. Ook hun privésituaties komen regelmatig aan bod.

Ondertussen blijft de moordenaar toeslaan en hij brengt zijn slachtoffers op een gruwelijke manier om het leven. Vooral de manier waarop hij hen eerst angstig maakt was erg interessant. De dader vond ik dan ook ongelofelijk ziek en sadistisch.

Dit boek telt 603 pagina's, dus het is nogal een "dikke pil", echter voelt dat niet zo. Vooral de eerste helft vond ik ijzersterk en was ik zo benieuwd welke richting dit verhaal op zou gaan.

De hoofdstukken zijn niet al te lang en het verhaal is in meerdere delen opgedeeld. Tot het eind weet je gewoon NIET wie de dader is, superknap dus!

'Koekoeksjong' was gruwelijk, heftig en heel erg spannend en ik heb hier dan ook enorm van genoten.

"Cine nu e gata..." de Søren Sveistrup (trad. Alunița Voiculescu) este un thriller intens, închegat, ce îți răcorește zilele toride de vară și care te invită în ungherele întunecate ale omului, lăsând să se întrevadă câte puțin și spiritul său de supraviețuitor. Pe blog am scris mai multe despre cele 700 de pagini terifiant de bune.

700 de pagini devorate de vineri seara și până duminică dimineață. "Omul de castane" este în topul thrillerelor mele preferate, iar "Cine nu e gata..." câștigă titlul de cel mai bun thriller citit în 2026, depășind detașat "Ultima casă de pe strada Needless" și "În flăcări".

Søren Sveistrup demonstrează încă o dată că știe să construiască tensiunea aproape obsesiv. Deși romanul are 700 de pagini, nu am simțit nicio clipă că povestea bate pasul pe loc. Fiecare capitol adaugă o piesă nouă într-un puzzle tot mai întunecat, iar senzația constantă este că adevărul se află chiar în fața ta, doar că nu reușești să-l vezi. M-a urmărit obsesiv imaginea puiului de cuc mutilat din primul capitol, cât și jocul copiilor de-a v-ați ascunselea.

Ce mi-a plăcut cel mai mult a fost atmosfera apăsătoare și felul în care trecutul și prezentul se împletesc până când granița dintre ele devine aproape imposibil de urmărit. Mesajele anonime, numărătoarea din jocul de-a v-ați ascunselea și disparițiile creează un sentiment continuu de neliniște. Toate persinajele mi s-au părut suspecte, de multe ori am fost convinsă că am descoperit vinovatul, doar pentru ca autorul să-mi demonteze teoria câteva zeci de pagini mai târziu. Și totuși... una dintre teoriile mele a fost adevărată, doar că nu în felul în care mă așteptam eu.

Naia Thulin și Mark Hess rămân unul dintre cele mai reușite duo-uri de investigatori pe care le-am întâlnit în genul thriller nordic. Relația lor evoluează natural, iar momentele personale nu încetinesc ritmul, ci oferă profunzime unor personaje deja foarte bine construite. Sper să-i mai văd lucrând împreună pe viitor.

Empieza lento, coge muchísimo impulso hacia la mitad y con ese impulso llega renqueando hasta el final, que se hace largo. Y aunque la historia en sí está bien, aunque un poco traída de los pelos, seguramente se podría haber contado en menos páginas y el resultado habría sido mejor.

O Homem das Castanhas foi surpreendente, mas esta sequela foi muito melhor. Que thriller/policial fantástico! Completamente alucinante, com um ritmo frenético e com cenas de cortar a respiração.

Passa-se 8 anos após o primeiro livro e elucida os leitores sobre a relação de Naia Thulin e Mark Hess que tinha ficado no ar e um resumo dos percursos profissionais destes 2 personagens neste tempo.

Gostei um pouco mais de Thulin neste segundo livro, mas continua a não ser uma protagonista de quem é fácil gostar.

O caso policial é completamente louco e o desenlace de tudo... simplesmente - wowww😲😲😲😲

Espero que o autor tencione continuar a escrever este tipo de livro e que não demore tanto tempo como demorou com esta sequela.
