The Fish and Chip Shop Detectives and the Mystery at Sea by Jenny Kane
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another 5 start cosy crime read from Maggie and Ryan (with a little help from Jenny Kane 😂).
I love how the story develops little by little, and the way Maggie and Ryan investigate gives you a chance to be able to try and work it out too.
A few characters we met in the previous two books are now showing up more, and helping out a little. 'Grandad' Harry, Bryn and Izzie leading the way as great supporting characters.
This is book 3 in The Fish and Chip Shop Detectives series, each book can be read as a standalone as the mystery is complete within the book but I would personally recommend reading them all, in order, to get the most out of the background stories, and I think they're all fab.
I'm hopeful for more books in this series, long may it continue 😊
