Absolutely loved this book
This book was sad. It was happy. I cried in some parts, yet was happy for most of it. I believe this is a great book for younger teenagers to read. It could help them to understand things, especially if there has been abuse. Jemima could have helped herself with honesty when ashe was first asked. I lived this book and couldn't put it down. I was up all night reading, I stead of sleeping. I wish this book was out and offered to me as a young teenager. I am now 65 years old. Hannah, I can't thank you enough for this read.

The Quiet Lane Home
This was a good long book about a lady losing her father, mean stepfather and mother over time. She held the responsibility of taking care of her sister at a young age. Love was finally in the picture in the end.

reads like a list
The writing is poor. Almost every sentence starts with She. She this, she that. Very short sentences. The storyline was good. But the writing style was annoying.

This book was the best I’ve read in a long while, I could definitely read it again, I felt there; in the room, in the moments, in the conversation

4.5 stars. Emotionally heartbreaking but such a satisfying HEA! I cried several times. Jemima is a character you won't forget for a long time.

The book seemed like it kept repeating alot of the words. I hate giving a 4 star rating.
