About the author

David D. Ogston was a minister of the Church of Scotland. He was educated at Inverurie Academy and Aberdeen University.

For twenty years, Ogston contributed poems to the Aberdeen Press & Journal and other publications. White Stone Country (1986) was his first sustained work in Scots prose.

David Ogston's liturgies and reflections on Lent and Easter are beautifully written in evocative language. It is a valuable resource for any minister's library, as well as simply for devotion and reflection.
