Eesa and Amorio are the definition of beautifully toxic chaos. Their relationship isn’t soft or easy. It’s raw, obsessive, consuming, and built on wounds that never fully healed. Every interaction crackles with tension, every conversation feels like a loaded weapon, and every stolen moment carries the weight of everything they’ve survived.
Eesa is fierce, resilient, and impossible not to root for. So much trauma laced throughout the story! Very strong but damaged characters 🥹 this is a love story that will heal you and break you all over again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a badass FMC!

This book consumed me and I was more than happy to let it! It wastes no time and immediately pulls you right in, never letting go, in the best and most beautifully traumatic way. This story has everything you could ask for in a dark mafia romance. Every chapter raised the stakes, dangers lurked around every corner, and secrets came undone and clawed their way to the surface. More than once, I found myself covering my mouth in shock, and climbing my couch in anticipation.
And then came THE twist! Just when I thought I had things figured out, the story delivered a twist that I never saw coming and left me staring at the page in appreciation.
Eesabella and Amorio held a chemistry that I could feel burning through the pages, and they are a force to be reckoned with! The bayou scene …. that is a scene I will NEVER forget.
New obsession unlocked. 10/10 read and 5 stars without hesitation!

Bandoleros is going to give you a little bit of everything. Spice, tension, danger, passion, humor, suspense, heartbreak. You’ll feel all the feels and I promise you it’s worth it. This book follows the stories of Eesabella and Amorio, who bring you unabashedly the enemies to lovers trope. Prepare yourselves, they’re not playing around. We get to know these two uniquely strong and vulnerable characters slowly, seeing how a series of events have shaped them as the people they are today, and how that history has left them battling for control over an empire. Without giving spoilers, there is some peak tension and suspense in this book that will have you devouring every single page. You can feel the danger and adrenaline with the characters and there is no point in this book when you’ll wish things would speed up. It’s a perfect binge read. The passion and anger between these two make for an unforgettable second chance dark romance. Even if you hated the characters I think you would still binge till the end because the story is so action packed and compelling. The emotional highs will get you in your feels, but even the hardest moments of the book are purposeful to the story. I have to add too, Eesa was just everything to me. She made me laugh, cry, want to scream, and everything in between. There is something so raw and believable about this character that these authors created that it feels like you should be able to pick up your phone and call her because she feels so real.
I can’t recommend this book enough. I had a fantastic time reading (twice) and highly encourage all the mafia loving book friends out there to give this one a shot.

Bandoleros: A Stolen Empire completely blew away my expectations and earned every bit of a five-star rating. This was my first experience with a mafia romance, and I went in assuming it would be all heat and no substance. I could not have been more wrong. This story delivers a rich, plot-driven narrative packed with twists that genuinely caught me off guard.
It feels like stepping into a world reminiscent of The Sopranos, but with an added layer of romance and intensity that elevates the entire experience. The strong sense of family, loyalty, and power dynamics grounds the story, making it far more than just a romance.
Eesabella is an absolute standout. She embodies strength and unapologetic female rage in a way that feels raw and real, not forced. Watching her navigate this world was one of the highlights of the book. Amorio, on the other hand, is incredibly layered. His journey from childhood to adulthood adds a depth that lingers long after you finish the book. Honestly, his backstory alone could carry an entire novel, and I would read it in a heartbeat.
The pacing builds perfectly, especially toward the end, where the tension ramps up until it delivers a cliffhanger that hits hard. It is abrupt in the best possible way, the kind that leaves you stunned and immediately wanting more. It gave me that classic, dramatic “how could you end it there?” feeling reminiscent of old-school General Hospital twists.

I think the pleasure of receiving this as e-ARC and will voluntarily be giving my honest review. Wow wow wow wow!! What did i just read!! This book was devoured in one sitting!! This was definitely an emotional roller coaster with plot twist you never ever see coming!! If you love dark mafia romance this is going to grip you when you least expect it!! The chemistry between them was phenomenal!! Man i am left speechless and need the next book!!

Wow, this book had me hooked from the very first page. It kicks off with a bang and never lets up.
It’s easily one of the best mafia romances I’ve ever read. The chemistry between Amorio and Eesabella is electric, and the various crime syndicates add so much depth to the plot. Calling it just a mafia romance doesn’t do it justice; it’s so much more.
Eesa is an absolute force to be reckoned with. I love a strong female lead, but she goes beyond that, she’s a true survivor. Both Amorio and Eesa come to terms with a lot of past traumas; their relationship might be a bit toxic, but in the best, most addictive way. There’s something amazing about two people swearing off love, only for it to find them anyway.
This book is packed with action, full of twists that keep you glued to the pages, and layered with raw, heartbreaking confessions that leave you breathless. Honestly, it’s one of the best books I’ve read this year. "Bandoleros: A Stolen Empire" releases July 1, and it absolutely deserves a spot on your shelf.

This story had me stressed the entire time in the best way.
This one pulled me into a world where loyalty means nothing if power is on the line. Between the Brancatos, the Zahcarras, and the Mancinis, everybody seemed to be hiding something, plotting something, or willing to sacrifice someone to protect their empire.
Amorio’s story hit the hardest for me. Watching him turn from a grieving son into a cold, revenge-driven man made him feel far more layered than a typical mafia MMC.
Eesabella proved very early in this story that she could be just as ruthless as the men trying to control her.
The tension throughout this book stayed HIGH. The family politics, forced marriage, revenge, shifting alliances… every time I thought things might settle down, another twist got thrown into the mix. And that ending.. I’m gonna need the next book immediately because that cliffhanger was actually insane.
I will say there were moments where I wanted certain emotional scenes to breathe a little more because some big moments moved very fast. And with so many moving pieces and characters involved, I did occasionally have to stop and remind myself who was connected to who.
But overall..this one definitely delivers.

This intensely passionate and emotionally charged story takes us on a journey through every facet of Eesa and Amorio's relationship as they fight to avoid repeating the mistakes of their fathers. Like many great romances, their paths cross and spark ignites. At first, that spark is fueled by pure hatred, but they soon discover that the animosity between them was built on lies, manipulation, and the deceit of others and themselves.
It has been a long time since a book captured my attention the way this one did. The authors pull you in from the very first page and never lets go. The story is relentless in the best possible way—filled with passion, tension, and emotion that keeps you turning pages. You cannot help but root for them at every turn and every obstacle. I received this book as an ARC read and was super excited to read it. I'm slowly expanding my mafia romance collection and this book met all my expectations. We start out meeting our MMC Amorio and get a little bit of his back story, how he became the leader of his family with the death of his father, and then meet our FMC Eesabella. It's Eesa's wedding day and she is explaining her back story as she moves into an arranged marriage taking us back to her first engagement which ended terribly.
Through some well executed planning Eesabella's husband dies and as a widow she moves to take over her recently deceased husband's seat in the Mancini crime syndicate but the other families are not happy about this and it starts a territory war. With so little time between the marriage and death they plan to push Eesabella to the side and take over. Enter Amorio who has his owns plans to take over their piece of the business. As we get to know both characters and better understand why they move throughout the crime/mafia organizations and what their motivations are as we see their story unfold. It's a dark mafia romance that has a twist you may not see coming and an exciting end that left me excited to read more. I can't wait for the next book. There is a list of trigger warnings and I recommend reading through them before starting this book. Happy reading!

Just finished this last night and oh my GOD my jaw is on the floor!
This book grabs you from the start and does not let you go! And when I say mafia romance this is top tier mafia romance! There are twists and turns though out the whole book! And just when you think you have it figured out it goes the opposite way!
The chemistry between the fmc and mmc is amazing! True enemies to lovers! The way the fmc grows is absolutely beautiful!! and the way the mmc is just truly in awe of her. The kind of yearning we all need in out lives! The plot is fantastic and the ending will have you not wanting but needing the next book! The authors did a fantastic job of painting the scene that really gave you a picture of what is going on.
And that bayou scene will live rent free in my head. I absolutely loved it! They way the mmc and fmc do not show any mercy and just really went to town on the man that caused a lot of trouble for both of them. That's all I'm gonna say, i don't want to give it away. But just wait. It is fantastic!
When I tell you that this book IMMEDIATELY became my top read of the year! It is absolutely fantastic! Any mafia romance lovers or any dark romance lovers need to read this ASAP! You can thank me later!

I don’t even know where to begin. Reading Bandoleros has left me completely speechless. Amorio and Eesabella? Absolutely yes, please! I love them so much, and that cliffhanger absolutely destroyed me.
Heather and Jessica, you truly outdid yourselves. The way this story was written felt so seamless and cohesive, and it’s clear how much heart went into every page. I already know this book has earned a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to own a physical copy.
The angst, banter, romance, plot twists, and emotional depth were all remarkable. This book had me in a complete chokehold from beginning to end. My heart is currently in the hands of Heather and Jessica, and I’m not sure I’ll be getting it back anytime soon.

This book had twists and turns the ENTIRE story, all the way through the last page!!! I devoured all of it!! Talk about enemies to lovers...this one takes the cake. Eesa is a tough cookie and has so many layers that at times I didn't like her character, while at other times being in awe of her. She goes through so much in her life as the daughter of a mafia man; while she is independent in her own right, she also just wants to be loved by the one person she was supposed to marry.
Amorio also has had his share of trauma and experiences that make him become the scorned son of a mafia family, estranged from his family after his mother's tragic murder. They decide to deal with the mafia drama head-on together, but that is not an easy ride for either, and when he finds out what really happened that broke up their engagement, he sees her in another light.
There are so many emotions in this book, and it truly was a rollercoaster of an experience. I am so excited to see what is next in their story because it is far from over!

Bandoleros: A Stolen Empire by Heather Christine Lynch and Jessica Wright was phenomenal, but at this point, I expect nothing less from these authors. This story had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end, and I loved every second of it.
Eesabella is an absolutely incredible FMC. She’s fierce, fearless, and takes absolutely no crap from anyone. I mean, any woman who responds to the MMC with, “I have a pussy with teeth… and she bites,” has earned badass status in my book.
Amorio is an amazing MMC too. My favorite line from him was, “I told you. I do my best eating at the table, and in case we don’t make it out alive, I wanted my last meal to be worth it.” 🥵 He’ll have you swooning in more ways than one.
If you’re looking for a mafia romance featuring lovers to enemies, a vengeful heroine, touch her and ☠️, a reverse age gap, and a forced marriage, this is one you won’t want to miss. And that ending? It’ll leave you frustrated, shocked, and desperately counting down the days until the next book.

This is a really good book, I’m curious to see how the series plays out and if book 2 will be in Esa’s and Amorim’s point of view again or if it will be in Vittoria’s and Cayan’s point of view.

I read this as an ARC reader. This story and these characters will stay with me. It is evident that Heather-Christine and Jessica poured their hearts into this world they’ve created. In the mafia world there are no apologies! This is a thrill ride, a spicy ride, a shocking ride, and a destroyer (in the best way)! These ladies have me wanting more and more of Eesabella and Amorio and they will have you wanting more, too! The badass female, the alpha male, and the pull they have with each other creates a steam on the pages that had me scream more than once, lol. I am anxiously waiting for more from these talented authors!

I normally do a video because I stink at words. This book is amazing. Esabella is a force to reckon with. I really want to be her when I grow up. Amorio best book boyfriend. Together they are a power couple. I can see the writers muses in the description of each one of them. This is now one of my favorites. I have been telling everybody I meet about this book. I can not wait for a physical copy. Ladies you can tell you put your heart and soul in to this book. Like I said I am bad at words but I am obsessed with this book. OMG! Page turner from the start. I read this in 2 days. So buckle up you’re in for a ride. Eesabella is a strong and fiesty woman, who can hold her own. Amorio is the one who threw her away. Now they are forced to merge to protect the family. He calls her Wife! Swooooon! Things go very wrong, very quickly.
I cant wait for the next book.

I like the writing style of these authors, and I was invested from the very beginning. It starts off with a bang and the tension is high throughout the entire book. Eesabella is such a bad ass who proves that she is more ruthless than any of the men. Amorio, sigh. What a complicated man.

Absolute perfection! This book had me hooked from the first page. Amorio and Eesabella are powerful characters. I was consumed by them and the world they come from. Amorio has lost everything he loves but he is back to reclaim was belongs to him. Eesabella is a fierce and determined woman who will burn this world to the ground to protect the ones she loves. I can not wait to see what the future holds for this empire. One of my favorite book.

Bandoleros by Heather-Christine Lynch is the story of Amorio and Eesabella. Whew!!! What a read!!! The way these two meet…in an of itself…is wildly intriguing. But, the events that transpire after that is even MORE intriguing. So much confusion, misdirection, lies, intrigue….and a slew of secrets make this story all-engrossing!! So much drama, deceit, secrets, danger, betrayal, and sooooo much more!!! Freaking LOVED this read!!! First from these author, for me….and I WANT MORE!!!

Bandoleros was advertised as a cartel romance and it did NOT disappoint! The horrors of the mafia world were on complete display - there was no literary sugar-coating - thank God! The story is solid and draws you in completely. The MMC and FMC are extremely well written and even the side characters are fleshed out very well and bring their own stories to the table. The ending left me begging for more. I cannot wait for the sequel!

Thank you to the authors for an early copy of Bandoleros. I think this is my first Mafia romance. Holy sh*t. I was invested from the first chapter. I think I finished this in two days. Everything about this was amazing. I loved the characters, I loved the MCs relationship and their history, the twists and turns! And the end? Talk about devastating! I need book 2 immediately!

This book grabbed me from the start and griped tight until the very last page. The tension and history between Eesabella and Amorio could be cut with a knife and when the action hits, it hits with a bang The plot twist was unexpected and increased the anticipation . I honestly couldn’t put this book down and had me wanting more.
