A really fun volume that gives Basori some great character development—as you might guess from the cover art.

The entire arc revolves around Basori's goal of becoming the new student council president, with Nukumizu once again finding himself roped into helping the heroine of the volume achieve her goal—reluctantly, once again (part 2).

Basori's character definitely climbed up my rankings. This volume makes her far more likable than in previous light novels, especially throughout the second half (and the final part in particular).

Nukumizu remains as dense as ever, and honestly, that's about all there is to say about him.

I'm terrified by what I read at the very end of the epilogue. I really hope that when Basori confessed, he wasn't thinking of Yanami. Out of all the girls, she is by far the worst. I'll die on this hill.

Shikiya best girl.
